I attend a couple of Teddy’s classes weekly, and I have to say his knowledge, experience, professionalism and dedication to the health & fitness industry really shines through. His classes are extremely challenging yet scalable for everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. I’ve learnt so much from Teddy and the results speak for themselves- weight loss, strength and stamina, but more importantly confidence!

Emeka is fantastic. He is very professional and really takes time to explain what will happen before and during the treatment. I went to see him because of my shoulders/neck, and felt amazing afterwards (sore of course, but amazing :) Throughout the treatment, he kept me updated on what exacly he was doing, and why. The studio was easy to find, and room very clean. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Emeka, who I've seen teach group classes and train clients at the gym for a year and three fourths, is always friendly and charismatic with a warm smile. So of course it was nice to see him when he greeted me for our sports massage appointment, since his demeanor puts one at ease.

We went into a cute and clean little massage therapy room with some anatomy posters and he began by talking with me, asking about allergies, taking notes, mentioning some posture things of note, and measuring range of motion things. It felt safe and nice. After that, he did sports massage on my shoulders, which I'd mentioned having pain from before. He found the lesser and greater knots that I had, and broke up quite a bit of them. He was also careful not to press too hard but didn't shy away from pressing as hard as necessary, asking me on a scale of 1-10 how hard it seemed and how hard I thought would be acceptable, a few times throughout. It was professional, comfortable, and he did a very thorough job.

He showed me some stretches and foam roller moves to do, told me about some aftercare things like to drink a lot of water and how I would feel from the massage the following day, and re-measured range of motion things, which were then a bit improved. Afterwards, he sent me a few notes he'd recorded from what he found, and future advice. The day after the massage, I did do a really good job weightlifting at the gym, and I bet the massage helped to facilitate that. I want more!

Great PT sessions. I really enjoyed the workouts and how it was tailored to my goals. I wanted a PT that wouldn’t just watch me use the machines (i.e treadmills, fixed exercise machines) but incorporated more free wieghts and barbells etc and Emeka did just that. Would recommend 👍🏽

Emeka is very knowledgeable and goal focused. My work out was based on my focus areas, he guided me through each part.

Emeka is not only an excellent trainer, but also an extremely dedicated one. He genuinely cares about your progression and is always looking to bring the best out of you. The classes I attended with him were fantastic and led with so much enthusiasm. On top of that, he created a tremendous sense of community among people who attend the classes, which I haven’t found in other London gyms. Highly recommended.

Emeka is a great PT and group exercise instructor, he has so much knowledge and experience and will really push you to reach your goals. If you have not attended his Thursday night class at The Gym Group Lewisham then you are missing out.
