The Aspiring Medics team have been so helpful in my journey to medicine. I started off with their free work experience programme, which is covers all fields of medicine, and has videos of medical students describing their personal experiences at their universities.
Jacqueline and Tao have helped me prepare for interviews, giving me an insight to the different interview structures and tips.
I’m constantly kept updated on hot topics, such as monkey pox and media coverage of the NHS, and the committee regularly hold meetings to discuss these and inform others.

It’s the only resource I used, and it had everything I needed—comprehensive content, hot topics, practice MMIs, and panel interviews. The video and written formats, along with markschemes, made it easy to understand what a strong answer should look like. Watching the videos alone allowed me to improve.

I would recommend Aspiring Medics for those looking for tutors in both Biology and Chemistry. My tutors Jacqueline (for Biology) and Alex (for Chemistry) were incredibly helpful in summarising content, breaking down complex questions into easy to understand subunits and explaining in detail topics that are difficult to grasp. I would definitely suggest enrolling with Aspiring Medics if you particularly struggle with exam technique, however lesson style sessions are also available. An Aspiring Medics student also has access to an array of interview help too through their group chat, in which flashcards and informational videos are frequently posted to help students in every step of their medic journey. Overall, my confidence and results in these subjects have skyrocketed in just a few months thanks to the help of my tutors. Thank you so much!!

I had a 30 minute free consultation with the aspiring medics where Angel was able to give me amazing tips and guidance in order to prepare for my interview which I was really nervous about. Following this, I also had an interview session with Ankita and she definitely helped to boost my confidence and tailor my answers so they would come across better and for that I’m forever thankful. Honestly, the aspiring medics played a huge part in my interview preparation and their youtube videos and online resources were really helpful so when I did my interview, I didn’t feel clueless and actually ended up getting an offer and I would definitely say part of it was definitely due to the aspiring medics!

I had a great experience with my tutor, Angel, who helped me prepare for my interviews for Birmingham and Leicester. We went through a wide range of questions, and which really tested my abilities and knowledge. She answered any questions I had well with good feedback. She was friendly and personable and I was able to express any worries I had regarding my interviews. For Birmingham, we also did 2 mock MMIs with the same format and stations that would come up at the interview and this was very helpful in preparing me for the real thing. It paid off because I got an offer from Birmingham!!
