This company has an amature "at best" l shipping and order fulfillment department .After 14 days I have not received my 2 bottles of Calumet Farms 17&7 , this review is frequently parroted in the other reviews, don't water you time with this Clown Show and order from ANYONE other than them I am ordering from Sip Whisky
AND NOW Barrel Tap REPLYS- BLAMING THE SHIPPER- AFTER 5 DAYS THEY HAD NOT FILLED THE ORDER AT ALL, I emailed them and, lo and behold they were filli.g it then, then another 12 days pass and FedEx showed up, I have known for all my adult life a worthwhile person or company in this case, admits their mistake and offers to make it right, with Barrell Tap they blame others and then double down, I'm telling you all SIPWHISKEY is less expesnsive and my orderarrived exactly 5 days after placement. AGAIN BARREL TAP is a CLOWN SHOW.

Order showed delivered. Lousy customer service no local phone number to call and I am so disappointed. First time I ordered went well this but now no product, no response. I am calling BBB and reporting your company and calling CC company and reversing the charges

I absolutely love this company. They are there to answer any questions you might have and they go out of their way to get whatever you are looking for.
The shipping is high but expect fully so as it is shipped from all the way from California.
Their. Selections are the best. I have never tried some of the beer they offer and I loved the tall ones especially ha ha

I have made multiple purchases from The Barrel Tap and all products were received within 1 week after order placement. I also had to interact with Customer Service (Aram) via their Chat feature to resolve an order mistake that I made and Aram was super friendly and helpful. This is a family run business and they are very committed to a good customer experience. They even left a coupon in my package for a discount on future purchases! Don't hesitate to do business with them! They have a ton of really good liquors to choose from at competitive prices. They are one of my go to sources for bourbon/whiskey that I cannot find locally!

I ordered a $200 bottle of bourbon and had it shipped to my home. I was nervous because I saw some negative reviews. I ended up having a great experience. The bottle was superbly packed and arrived in perfect condition. No delays in shipping. I would definitely order from them again.

I was contacted after placing my order and told that the company is “too small” to ensure the product images match the actual items customers receive. That alone is concerning. I ordered the Jack Daniel’s Family Holiday Set (50 mL x 5), but the representative admitted they only have a four-bottle set without Gentleman Jack.

This feels like a classic bait-and-switch. Customers rely on accurate product listings to make informed purchases, and substituting a different item after the order is placed is unacceptable. I would not recommend purchasing from a company that cannot guarantee basic accuracy between what is advertised and what is shipped.

If they cannot ensure basic accuracy between their product listings and what they actually ship, it raises serious concerns about their overall business practices. I would be hesitant to trust a company with my credit card and personal information when they admit they are “too small” to manage something as fundamental as accurate product representation. Compliance and data security are not optional, and this experience does not inspire confidence.

Ant company selling to the public via mail order should be checked out. This company as with many similar others never lists their company address and buyers rights !

Orders on a Wednesday and paid for three day shipping. After three days went by and there was no tracking. I decided to reach out via email. They promised me that I would receive tracking that day but nothing ever came. I reached out three more times over the course of the next few days and was met with silence. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with ordering from a site like this. All I can say is it feels like a pure scam. I ultimately reversed my transaction charges. I would not recommend doing business with these people in any way shape or form.

Customer service was amazing! The product was even better. They went out of their way to make sure i was happy with the end result and they blew me away. I will be buying more. The engraving is worth the cost.

Ordered Christmas and got my order in a couple weeks, CA to OH.

Packed with good enough care, didn't need to sign with delivery company. Beer can boxes were beat up but that's not unreasonable.

One item I purchased did not arrive, but I was refunded quickly after notifying and was told it went on backorder.

Order showed delivered but was not. No one signed for the package as is REQUIRED by law as it was alcohol. First contact with company claimed they would contact shipper, all follow up contact completely ignored. I spent over $300 on the order and also purchased their shipping protection. Filed claim directly with UPS. Zero communication from the barrel tap since.

I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, so wanted to share my EXCELLENT experience. Ordered online Sunday by Tuesday had UPS tracking info. Package arrived in about a week from CA to OH. Carefully packaged and in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with this experience and will definitely purchase from this company in the future!

I have purchased from the guys before. I got an email to buy a bottle. I bought it, then I was on their site they are selling it for less. I emailed asking for a REFUND and the difference. They gave me crap and have not refunded the difference. Will not be buying anymore from them. OLD FITZGERALD Bottle & Bond 7 Year. PAID $89.99

Terrible service. I placed an order on 11/6/25. On 11/16 they had not even shipped the order. I told them to cancel the order as it was too late, it was supposed to be a gift. They sent it anyway and are refusing to refund my money. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.

If something seems too good to be true or they offer low prices as well as buy 3 get 1 free it is even more suspicious.
I ordered a Jim Beam pin bottle and then after receiving no communication and the fact there is no address to their company or anything... google should do more to remove companies.
In the US an alcohol licence is required and a business address. No mention of anything like this on their site
