Quality is great. Delivery was uneventful...I was able to keep the meat frozen for 3 days in the insulated box.

I did have one package that was leaking when I opened the box, albeit, a frozen leak.

The bison meat was wonderful!! It was juicy and tender with the best flavor with as little seasoning as just salt and pepper!

I bought several different bison steaks. They arrived on time and even though it was above 110 degrees that day and had sat on my doorstep for a few hours, it was package well enough that there was still ice.
So far I have only tried one of the medallions. It was pretty good. Very lean. I could tell it would be easy to over cook. I can’t wait to try the ribeyes.

I purchased 2 medium sized Tomahawk Bison Ribeyes. As to the meat quality, my cook,..etc...it resulted in delicious meat...we truly enjoyed it and that was attributable to the high quality. The shipping was fairly quick - though when it arrived (and it was hot here in KC MO) I was worried about if the meat was still 'safe to eat'. I paid $40 to ship. So my expectation is that would've included something to keep them cold in addition to the vacuum seal packaging. The insulation was there to support that but nothing to keep them cold. In the end, it didn't matter but for the $40...it was an unnecessary concern that could've been avoided.

I just fired up my barbecue to cook up the awesome and tasty burgers from the Honest Bison. I encourage everyone to try a bison burger at least once in their life, and what the heck try a venison burger too. EXCELLENT!!

I thought the shipping cost was excessive, so to buy one bison tomahawk steak it cost me close to $100. I know my husband will love the steak, but I'm sure that I won't spend this much again in the future.

This was my first purchase from The Honest Bison. First, they are indeed honest. Second, the Elk Short Ribs were excellent. I braised them low and slow and paired them with some Anson Mills Grits and a good Merlot. Perfection
