National Job Fairs Opiniões 

Every year dosent seem to get any better hardly nothing there for me once again. Why cant they get industry like construction companies to attend.Engineering more warehouse different range of industry is needed.Seem to concentrate more on younger people what about older people like my self who wants to return to training/work.Or like most if you dont currently drive they dont want to know.Completely unfair really.So many construction firms in Northampton.I suggest have a jobs fair purely for this industry to recruit people get them into training train them up get them qualified and into work.Even jobcentre plus used to attend these events even they dont turn up no more.This day and age they should be better then they are.Think 2 rooms were once used in Northampton guildhall it seems to have been cut down rant over

1st Job fair in over 20 years, oh my god how it's changed, I did go but in all Honesty was a waste I was in there no longer than 10 mins it was massively rammed and harky anywhere to walk or anyone from the exhibitors to talk too as there were so so many people loads of training exhibitors (Silly courses that really don't make you fully qualified or even partially qualified just give you an insight) they had a few public sector exhibitors such as WM Police but loads of care companies etc like I sadi I've exhibited at the NEC Olympia, this just cemented me to work for myself and when I look to recruit not to use these places, the exhibitors WILL all miss out on talent as its a numbers game and interest was appeared in getting folks in. Their was only one chap who was scanning QR codes at the front of Villa Park which created a rather large que.

None the less got a few names of companies that exhibited and i will get myself contact names details of recruiting persons via my Paid LinkedIn Premium.

Tried to get listing of stands as no guidance at all at entry but didnt work until later on. Was looking for 1 stand after being told everything just on ground floor! Eventually a guy did his job and found one was looking for. Incredibly the course was looking for was just on a pay basis and was way too much for me to afford, in other words just for elite. To be honest the scan the QR code and apply for most things wore thin as when you did next to nothing to apply for. All it did was take you to website in same way as Indeed or any other search site. Considering 10k attended at least a free bottle of water would ve been good. At one point caught up in crush which certainly was very unsafe. I did chat to many stands but very few actual jobs on offer. Same as at a hotel job fair when looked for admin reception roles. Some stands had a few actually quite derogatory people which couldnt believe. So many stands too few jobs as is Uk today.

Went to the jobs fair and I thought I had landed in Africa

I attended this job fair for the first time to investigate a potential market for training courses. My observations are linked to the other exhibitors and the venue - two areas which are effectively outside the control of the organisers. There was a clear predominance of organisations involved in the care sector - it seemed as though more than half of the exhibitors were from that area and in conversations with visitors to the fair, it was mentioned by almost every one of them. The venue in Theatre Seven wasn't ideal in that stands were either side of a relatively narrow 'corridor' that curved - resulting in limited vision of other stands. I feel that most exhibitors would prefer a more open area where seeing others stands helps to create the impression of a busy thriving environment.

We have exhibited at a number of events hosted by "The Job Fairs". All have been an excellent opportunity for the Wesser UK recruitment team to showcase our Charity Fundraising roles to a large audience of job seekers.

Booking process is really easy, the events do vary by area with some being more successful than others for our business. But overall they work well.

Really good experience with The Job Fairs. Recently held a stand at their Peterborough fair and they were nothing but professional. Everything was well organised and there was excellent footfall throughout the event which has allowed us to make 3 hires.

The Job Fairs have hosted two events with us at Gloucester Guildhall with further upcoming dates. A very professional and well-organised company with staff who are a pleasure to work with.

As the venue where they hold one of their job fairs we find the organisation very competent, well organised and professional, On the day everything is well ordered and runs smoothly allowing the job seekers to get the most out of the day.

I have worked with Job Fairs at venues across the country. The planning and organisation has always been excellent. The staff are proactive and always ready to go the extra mile to make each event the best it can be.
The nature of the process means that you can never be sure what potential candidates might attend on any particular day and some days will obviously be better than others. However we have consistently recruited some excellent people who have brought real value to the organisation.

We have had excellent interactions at the Job Fairs attended, lots of (seemingly) genuine candidates and good balance of recruiters on the day. Definitely time well spent.

This was the first Job Fair in Peterborough we have attended. All the staff have been very helpful and have made us feel welcomed. We were representing a local charity that was looking to help those unemployed get help through our organisation. We had a great response to the club and came away with members booked in and lot's of great discussions.
We are already looking forward to the next one in June, and would highly recommend the Job Fair to any employers we work alongside. We will also be pushing our member of the Job Club to go along and speak to the companies represented.
