I went into our local branch and was greeted by friendly staff. The staff member was knowledgeable and sorted my isa transfer . The whole process was easy and it was great to actually have direct contact with a real person !!

Hmmm.......
Bella was so helpful, excellent customer service, friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
However I could not believe that whilst trying to serve customers, the poor staff were trying to pack up everything in the building as the Sheffield branch is closed for a week from Monday for a total refurbishment.
The branch was really busy with a lot of customers, but as always the staff went the extra mile, remained cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.
NBS, why on earth didn't you close the Sheffield branch today so that the staff could just concentrate on getting everything ready? It's not what I would expect from you!
Your staff are a most valuable asset, so look after them so that they can look after your customers!

As we wanted to minimise the impact on our members, we made the decision to keep the branch open for as long as possible before the refurbishment closure.
