I have been to Peterborough branch recently to register and hand over my ID documents. East European staff showed me no respect and answer was no jobs sorry. When I explain that I came related to available vacancy that I been told by head office, they let me register. It’s been 2 weeks no reply to say yes or no from the branch. I had a call from head office and ask my interest for vacancy and I explained no reply from Peterborough branch. And she find out due to I’m type 2 diabetes I cannot work . I’m not even on insulin, well controlled with tablets.

My feeling is that office only interested in employing Europeans . I have been working at so many places and my diabetes never came as a issue. I am holding a taxi license and my GP or local council have no issues with it.
Reason I’m sharing my experience because I got treated badly, not that I haven’t been offered the job .
