Crooks

Crooks. $7 service fee for a $15 show. thats a 50% raise for sending digital data. They abuse their monopol. This wouldn't happen if tickets for the same event were available on multiple platforms.

Poor service ll never use again

Just purchased total of 6 ticket to Day out with Thomas ( for april,2018) i wanted the kids to ride Thomas first then Percy since the LOVE Thomas so much and its my son birthday so thought it be so special but when i looked the ticket it was Percy at 9am then Thomas at 10am so i called and explained just to change the timing but they refused, what is the big deal here? I ll never use this service anymore

Poor Customer Service

I live in Detroit, and purchased tickets to a concert in Chicago 30 days in advance. I was unable to safely travel to the venue due to a massive snowstorm. The band I was seeing is coming to Detroit in April, so I thought it was within reason to exchange my purchased tickets to that event. I called TicketWeb's customer service, and was told a case would be created and escalated to their support team. I was told I would hear back via phone or email within 24 hours. I never received a response, and had to eat the cost of the tickets.

I would have appreciated TicketWeb to show me a fair level of customer service for this matter, but unfortunately they don't seem to care. I will no longer use their services.

I ordered a ticket a few weeks ago because they were cheap, and I was a little hesitant and anxious at first because of the reviews I read. My ticket arrived a few days late but they arrived a week before the show. Very satisfied overall.

Good experience

I’m rating 4 stars for now. As the event isn’t until February . The ticket buying process was easy and smooth. I was able to print the tickets right away no problem. Also received my reciept email right away as well. I was very hesitant after reading all these horrible reviews . So I wanted to make sure I posted about my experience and it was good .

Never again

Ticketweb charged me three times for tickets, then the customer service person was extremly rude when I called to have the issue corrected. My money is being held for 3-5 business days now before it's refunded. I will never use ticketweb again. Terrible, rude, total joke of customer service.

just don't send through the tickets

just don't send through the tickets! now on a Saturday (as I booked it yesterday) I have to try and phone them to find out where the tickets are - not great service

Ordered tickets a few month ago.E-mail specified to wait up to 3 days before the event for tickets to arrive.They arrived 6 days before the event so I'm very happy.Ticket prices were quite reasonable too xx

don't care about actual fans.

Was online at 10am, exact time tickets went on sale for the xx, and they were immediately unavailable. I then purchased a ticket from Craigslist that turned out to be fraudulent (lesson learned) and I called Ticketweb to report the person and they didn't care and said they couldn't do anything about it such as flag his account as a ticket scammer. They don't let true fans buy tickets and don't care when scammers resale their tickets. They have no built in fraud protection for tickets allowing scammers to print off e-tickets as much as they want and sell them to actual fans. Will never ever use ticketweb. Will find another resale site that cares about true fans since fans can never actually buy tickets from the source anymore.

Hi Teresa, thank you for letting us know about your experience. Unfortunately, we cannot vouch for the validity of tickets sold on Craiglist or other resale sites but we do take fraud very seriously. Our system has features in place that allow us to identify bots and repeat offenders to prevent them from buying tickets that real fans (like yourself) want to get.

The tickets never arrived

The email tickets never arrived - completely unable to contact them about the event (certainly not in time) - Had to go to the event and buy MORE TICKETS AT THE DOOR!!!

This company took my money and you have to POST THEM A LETTER FOR A *POTENTIAL* REFUND -

BASICALLY A SCAM COMPANY - DO NOT USE!!!

Worst Service Ever

Changed venue locations to a venue miles away and wouldn't honor my refund. Then sent me on a while goose chase when it came to refunds. Will never use again I can promise you that. North Park Obsetvatory did everything they can to make sure I was situated, but Ticketweb didn't give a damn.

CROOOOOOKS!!!!!

Just tried to cancel an event TWO months in advance and they won't give me ANY of my money back. Absolutley REEEEdiculous!!! I will never buy a ticket from these crooks again!!!!!!!

They placed a hold on my credit card …

They placed a hold on my credit card for $120.00 but never sent me a confirmation. I never received my tickets and was unable to see the show I'd paid for. I contacted them immediately and they said the hold would be released in 3-5 business days. I contacted them on several occasions via phone and email and the charge remained on my card. I contacted my credit card company who could not dispute the charge because ticketweb.com needed to reverse the charge on their end. They then said because I'd waited so long, it couldn't be reversed. Remember I said I'd emailed and called them several times. Let all your local event venues to use someone else to sell their tickets because these crooks are scamming their customers.

Unacceptable, unreasonable and terrible service

Bought two tickets for a show in Jan. 12 on November 18. Paid extra to have the tickets delivered in physical form to give as a Christmas present and it is now December 6 and the tickets stil haven't shown up.
Called customer service and asked if the old tickets could be voided and have new ones sent and was denied because it would be a "hassle" and that's not how their system works. So now I have to call them within 48 hours of the event to even be able to pick up tickets at the box office... seriously? it's a hassle for them so now I have to deal with it---zzzzz.
edit: The order was placed with @ticketweb.com in the US not UK
udpated to 3 stars: Received the tickets today after 15 business days. Really wish they would ship with tracking info and provide better Customer Service.

Tickets didn't work

I booked 4 tickets to a Thanksgiving Eve party at the Highline Ballroom. When we arrived at the venue the QR code on our tickets (both paper and digital copies) was not able to be scaned by staff on the door, and we were unable to enter without purchasing new tickets.

I contacted Ticketweb and whilst they got back to me quickly to say they would look into the issue, I've heard nothing further despite chasing them.

I would not recommend using this company.

Disappointed with refund policy and connectivity.

on January 27,I purchased online tickets to the Grizzly Rose concert held on March 11th. I printed up the two tickets at $14.80 each but forgot to take them with me when I left for the 30 mile drive to the Griz. Upon arrival I told the staff I forgot my tickets and asked if they had a record of my purchase. They had no record and I had to buy two NEW tickets for the Russell Dickerson concert. The staff told me I could call Ticketweb for a refund. So I called and Ticketweb said I could not get a refund since the event had already occurred.
I will NEVER use Ticketweb to buy another ticked and recommend no one else use this service until they change their policy for this occurrence. The Grizzly Rose should be provided a list of paid customers so they could verify my purchase.

Used the service twice; never had issues.

I'm back to edit my original review from 2015. Essentially, I had no issues with the tickets that I bought. I did not choose to have my tickets mailed to me based on other reviews I was seeing at the time. Instead, I did the digital download option. There was a fee, but this was also the official online ticket vendor for that show - so I didn't mind. I was sent those tickets right away in an email. That's when I wrote my original review. The show did go perfectly fine though, my two tickets had no issues. In 2019, a venue is Asbury Park was doing the official online ticket sales through TicketWeb as well. So, I bought them again and did the digital option. They were emailed right away and I had no issues getting into the venue. I'm only ever giving this company four star review based on how bad everyone else seems to have an experience with them; that's still super concerning to read coming back to my review in 2020.

Horrible

I purchased tickets in December for my boyfriend. He of course lost them and we didn't realize it until the day of the event (our fault). I called ticketwebs customer service and the representative instead of being sympathetic sng helpful just repeatedly reminded of their policy of not being responsible. She then states I have to await an EMAIL to find out whether or not anything could be done by the event location (Webster hall). I'm STILL waiting for that email. Never got anything! Thankfully I decided to contact Webster hall myself and thanks to LILLYANNE. She was so helpful and reassured me that Webster hall didn't operate as cold hearted as ticket web and that I would be taken care of at will call. Because of HER we were able to enjoy the concert. Thank you! I will never be purchasing from ticket web again.
