One star is too good for the Customer…
One star is too good for the Customer service and support I received from Ticketweb. I just attempted to purchase a $42 concert ticket for my son for tonight. When I clicked the button to confirm the order, Ticketweb instantaneously changed the confirmed amount to $109 and charged my credit card this amount that I did not approve. I immediately called Ticketweb. The customer service rep seemed to be chewing food as she spoke to me. She barely audibly told me that there was nothing she could do for me. At my request, she transferred me to her supervisor, Roy. Roy told me it was my fault and refused to admit that the Ticketweb site was faulty. I was scammed by this company and both reps seemed smug when telling me that I was beat out of my money. I told Roy that I'd be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. His responses was for me to "go ahead and do that". I urge the public not to deal with this illegitimate company that literally just robbed a child.

TicketWeb is FRADULENT and does not sell real ticket!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
I bought tickets to Snoop Dogg in New York and my tickets were canceled. I rang up the venue and they said the event was still happening and so I called up TicketWeb and got confirmation that the event was cancelled 5 times. I asked for clarity whether the actual event was cancelled and Snoop Dogg was not performing or if the TicketWeb tickets were not valid. They informed me the actual event was cancelled – this was lies and false. I would have bought new tickets if I was informed with the correct information.
I was skeptical when my friend who bought tickets from another vendor didn’t receive a cancellation email. It turns out the event went ahead and I missed out on the event because of TicketWeb’s fraudulent tickets which were not real in the first place!!
I spoke to customer service and spoke to a man named Roy who was extremely rude and unapologetic of the behavior of TicketWeb and unwilling to compensate me for missing out on the concert due to false information and ticket cancellation from TicketWeb!!
They DO NOT SELL REAL TICKETS. If you buy from them YOU WILL MISS OUT DUE TO A RANDOM CANCELLATION!!
Very unhappy with this vendor and will never engage with them ever again!
Worst concert experience ever
Worst concert experience Details: I have been going to concerts for many years and from time to time I have experienced an inconvenience or two. But, what transpired with EVERYTHING involved in the August 16 Zakk Sabbath show was the absolute most appallingly disorganized mess I have ever encountered. I ordered 4 tickets months before the show which were supposed to be delivered by snail mail. As the date of the concert approached I called Ticket Web customer service and was informed that the tickets were being held back by the venue (Warsaw theater) but they would be sent. I called again two weeks out from the show because still NO tickets. Again I was not only informed by Ticket Web customer service that the tickets did not mail out yet BUT they were being sent the beginning of the following week. The Monday before the show when I still had not received my tickets I once again contacted Ticket Web customer service and this time I was told that my tickets had been sent out weeks ago? The representative assured me that my 4 tickets would be available for me at the venue as 'will call'. I was instructed to get to the Warsaw theater an hour before the doors were to open and to have proper identification. I was on line at the destination that was set aside for 'will call' tickets at 7 pm and stood in that same spot for over two hours without seeing the line move. In fact, the more people that I spoke to turned out to be in the same position I was regarding NOT getting their tickets. This entire fiasco was exasperated by the extremely unprofessional handling of this issue by the Warsaw itself. Little information was provided to those of us standing on that line...that hot line. I had two women in tow who needed to use the restroom but there was no option provided to them from the Warsaw because they would not open the freakin doors at the advertised 8 pm time. With no establishment near the venue with a public restroom the girls and I were forced to leave the line which was growing to an unbelievable mass of ticketless people in order to find somewhere they could use a restroom! On foot in an unfamiliar area searching for a place that could accommodate such a thing is not easy but luckily we found a place. After having to go through this a couple of times and not seeing the line move for almost three hours we had had enough of this unpleasant experience. I demand a full refund for my four tickets which I ironically received today in the mail! What a joke!!
Diabolical customer service
Diabolical customer service. Ordered tickets and entered the correct shipping address (in the UK). TicketWeb then dispatch the tickets via USPS and tried to deliver to a UK address in the USA... so obviously USPS "couldn't find the address". TicketWeb are now stipulating that they won't re-ship the tickets to the correct address (which they've had all along, as I entered it during purchase). So they've charged for non-existent shipping. I can no longer attend the event, so follow their links for official ticket re-selling... which link to TicketMaster UK... who don't allow re-selling of TicketWeb tickets. Absolutely useless and totally infuriating.
TicketWeb supports unethical business venues
Bought a ticket for a concert at Bernies Beach Bar in NH. Got to the venue at 10:30 (because I didn't want to see the opener). They oversold tickets to this venue. The venue was literally kicking out random people from the event to make up for their mistake (you can see it on their Yelp page). The line went all the way down the street to get in. I never got into the concert after paying $50 for a ticket. The venue's practices are completely unethical. I reached out to Ticketweb about the issue and they refused to work with me. The fact that Ticketweb can support unethical business practices such as this is outrageous. I basically paid $50 to stand in line. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM TICKETWEB THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POLICIES ARE UNETHICAL.
Broken website, impossible tickets.
I have tried to buy tickets multiple times, from multiple computers, using multiple credit cards linked to multiple addresses. My card is declined every time. The first few times I just went to the venue in person and bought tickets but today I wanted a show that was actually in high demand and when my cart timed out, the tickets were gone. I called customer service and the girl said I must have typed my address wrong. I wrote them an email to give them an opportunity to help me but since they have a monopoly on the tickets I want I’m ready to investigate opening a class-action lawsuit.

Scam artists
Cancelled a show, and sent e-mail saying to request a refund. Then denied refund saying it was not requested in time, even though timestamped e-mail clearly shows within their window of request.
Had to dispute charge with financial institution to get my money back. Go literally anywhere else to get your tickets, these guys are scam artists.
Poor Communication
We bought tickets to Novo Amor in Columbus weeks ago and didn’t get any confirmation of our ticket purchase until 7 hours before the Monday night show. That’s totally unacceptable, and we’ll never use TicketWeb again.

My friend purchased tickets for Hudson Taylor weeks ago and was told a confirmation e-mail would be sent straight away which never came nor did the tickets which he was made aware that they would arrive “promptly”.
This website is a scam
This website is a scam. I was trying to purchase tickets to a show, and when I put my card information TicketWeb declined it. Thinking I had made an error, I tried a couple more times. TicketWeb charged me every single time, even though it declined my card, and gave me no ticket.

Gave me tickets to the wrong night of a show. No recourse. Friday night show was sold out. I bought tickets for staurday...arrive at the venue, my tickets are for the Friday show, which was sold out before I bought mine! Obviously a glitch somewhere, but i miss a show for no good reason...

Bad Experience
Was not able to attend an event in Boston MA due to a snow storm where we recieved about a foot of snow. The road conditions were horrible, not to mention we were having freezing rain as well. It was just plain not safe to drive. I called to see if I could get a refund on 4 tickets that I spent about $100 on in total and recieved an email a few days later after the event that they could not complete my request because the people that attended the it said they had no trouble getting there. I will not buy tickets from this website again. It is ridiculous that they don’t give out refunds. $100 is a lot of money. Would not recommend buying tickets off this website.

NEw Year
We purchased NYE lakeview pass for 4 bars entry with 1 free drink from each bar. Upon arriving to the first club, we were denied a free drink that suppose to come with the ticket. So we moved on to the next club, but we got denied entry to get in. The whole set up was a scam. I have spoken to a lot of people and they have all shared the same experiences. Some even have to buy ticket again at the entry to get in.

Do not book/purchase tickets with this is site if you can help it. First off they're an offshoot of ticketmaster which should tell you all you need to know about fees and business practices. for my own personal experience I bought tickets (that cost more online than at the door night of) to a show, the venue kicked all of us and the bands out well before the headliner, offering us no explanation aside from "EVERYONE GET THE F__K OUT" being screamed over and over. Once we were outside the venue said something half hearted about a "fire hazard" and that no one was going to be able to play. I contacted ticketweb, ticketweb said there was no fire hazzard so no refund, I contacted them again saying that even if there wasn't a fire hazzard the show was still cancelled. I then got a generic response saying they needed to stick to their policy of all sales are final and that they cannot be of any assistance. super.

This is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered three tickets and was supposed to receive them via email. It’s been three days and I have yet to receive them. I’ve called twice reporting my unreceived tickets.

This is a sequence of Emails sent in regards to ticket's purchased for an up coming event. It's long, but I would like your opinion. If you're going to respond, please keep it as respectful as you can. I will be responding to TicketWeb again: Disclaimer, I reserve the right when responding to TicketWeb to use all or part of your comments. I may not get my $1 back but I'll at least get 15-30 minutes of somebodies time in responses. And just so you all know, I rechecked my order and I had given them the correct address when ordering.

Well here we are in the situation where it should be the right thing to do is refund the $1. It's a matter of principle. I paid for a service and I did not get that service. I am thoroughly disappointed in your response. I know it's only a dollar, but it is the principal. What if you did this for a hundred people and not send anything out that's $100 in your pocket, kind of reads scam all over it. If it was just one isolated incident I'm sure you would say, "Here Mr. Lehrer, we will put a dollar in with your will call tickets as a refund". I do know that the Postal Service will make Note on any envelopes returned to sender with the reason why it was returned. Possibly wrong address or lack of sufficient funds. They don't return it for any reason. In either case those two reasons would be you're responsibility. So at this point you have a very dissatisfied customer. And I will no longer use your service. And as we both know social media is a great forum and will be used to educate people about your service. Again you're probably saying “only for a dollar”, but it's the principle.

I apologize that your tickets were returned to us, please contact your local post office as they may be able to tell you as to why they were not able to deliver your tickets. The $1.00 delivery fee is what the post office (USPS) charges in regards to delivering event tickets. Again, I apologize that you were not able to have physical tickets. As stated in the first email your tickets are going to be held at the box office and you must bring your photo ID and the credit card used for this purchase.

Best to avoid this guys they charge to much offer very little and if anything goes wrong they won’t accept responsibility, I paid for my tickets and yet guess what no tickets were mailed and yet I still get charged for the mailing, never ever again

their website redirected me to tickets to a concert i did not want, and I didn't realize until I had confirmed the purchase and they won't give me a refund for their issue, they didn't have the tickets I wanted in the first place.
Website glitches and crappy customer service
Their terrible website makes glitches, and they won’t refund you/your customers for THEIR mistakes. Horrible customer service. Do not use them for your events. Do not buy tickets for events from them.
