Fantastic company from the initial sales stage through to completion!

After a lot research and meeting various companies for a garden room, My Modular came out on top! They were very informative and kept us up-to date through out the whole process with a schedule which was delivered on time.

The install team were fantastic! With minus degrees weather they cracked on everyday still smiling. Their attention to detail was great and they were the most friendly, polite tradesmen I have ever met!

We are both thrilled with the results and can not thank the whole team enough.

Smart Modular provided us with a very professional service from start to finish and a fantastic product to match. Nothing was too much trouble during the quotation process and the install team were exceptionally diligent and easy to deal with - would 100% recommend

This is my first review on Trust Pilot, and I'm so very happy to write it for the Smart Modular / My Modular team.

I had initially gone with another company for my garden office build, but unfortunately just before they started to build they went under, and I had luckily paid the deposit by credit card so I was able to claim the amount back. This meant that I was very cautious, and generally suspicious of companies promising, and taking money from me. It turns out their business model wasn't right vs others in the market.

I initially got in contact with Tim, we spoke a few times and then he visited my place in East London. I live in a garden flat, with limited access - so we discussed all the possible entry points (we had to get creative!) for the modular building. He was great, very enthusiastic and definitely a problem solving type character. From then we had the base level plan of what size, look, and more importantly pricing and service they would provide.

The communication with the team has and still is (nearly 1 year on!) fantastic. We were sent the soft-copy plans via Whatsapp - which did feel odd at first, but it was very smooth and meant everyone at head office could chat with me in the run up and during the build.

The further site visit, deliveries, embedding the ground screws, then the week long full build of the outhouse/garden room was seamless. I put this down to the positive, service oriented attitude of EVERYONE that was on this project. The build team even helped me and my family with bags out of our car when we got back from a trip away.

The fact that the build team consists of a team of 4-5 people (mine was a 4m x 4m), then separate electricians, meant that it really was a speedy, high quality project. It was enjoyable to see the team at work, they were super polite, very engaging when we had questions (it was awesome to see the progress).

Since the project has completed back in March, we've asked them to come back to look at one section of the roof which was well finished, but one area was catching some wind and making a strange sound - they were more than happy to fix that, and then only a few weeks ago the heater gave up on us - but this was a manufacture fault, and so this was swapped out easily and all organised by Louise in the head office.

So thank you to Tim, Stuart, Louise in HQ for the very responsive comms and logistics - and to James and the crew that built the garden room.

From the inital survery and chat with the team through to the final build we cannot rate My Modular highly enough.
We had constant support via whatsapp which helped deal with any queries we had. The team were always friendly and helpful.
The build team were brilliant. They were great fun to have at the house, always polite and their finish was very high. Everything ran very smoothly with a clear schedule and the speed at which the build progressed was so quick.
We are thrilled with the space that we have and would recommend MyModular to anyone considering a garden room.

Stuart and the team have been unbelievably helpful and competent throughout. We needed a 9m x 4.5m studio that was 3.5m high. The team managed the planning application, site prep (from clear, level ground), build and electrical works.

Nothing was too much and the team on site were incredibly friendly, respectful and efficient.

I would (and already have) recommended Smart Modular to anyone looking for a garden building. You get what you pay for and it has been a joy.

Our experience with Smart Modular has been excellent from start to finish. Communication is outstanding and the team guides you through the process from initial discussion, site visit and then on to the build seamlessly. Everything went exactly to plan and the on-site teams completed the build in 5.5 working days which was less than the 7 day estimate.
I spoke to a couple of other companies offering a similar service but had a great feeling about Smart Modular from the outset so delighted that that we used them. Really looking forward to getting the studio furnished now that decorations are complete.

After a really stressful move into our new build bungalow and numerous problems with the builder and various contractors we was really nervous about inviting more contractors in but the guys from Smart modular restored my faith. From start to finish they were an absolute dream to work with, they were punctual, tidy, respectful and the team really work well together and the whole project ran like clockwork. They always replied promptly to any questions or queries we had and we absolute love our new gym! I’ve been out there every night working out while catching up on netflix! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of adding a garden room to their home. Thank you so much guys!

Smart modular’s design and build of our garden office was excellent from start to finish. Communication was outstanding using WhatsApp resulting in a highly responsive engagement between the team and us throughout the whole process.
The team were prompt, efficient and friendly. The garden office is of a high quality in design, build and materials and the end product looks fantastic. The aftercare documentation is clear and helpful.

Smart Modular are fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough. They have great ideas, they listen to what the customer wants and they will do anything they can to make sure you are happy. They built a his n hers offices with an outside covered heating area for us. The design process was seamless and they are always on hand to help with any queries. Once on site the team are exceptional and are really proud of the work that they do. They are all so polite and efficient and it was all built in 2 weeks - fantastic! We had a couple of snags afterwards and they were straight on it to find a solution. We have recommended them to friends who are also delighted with the outputs. Such a great team all round! What a fantastic company to work with for our garden office/gym. Smart Modular are nothing but professional from start to finish, The quality of our build is unbelievable with long guarantees. The build team were super professional, took extreme pride in their work and most of all were friendly and tidy.

Couldn’t recommend smart modular enough, the office/gym is already the talk of the village as it’s off grid, in a remote location and blends in with the surroundings perfectly, a few more orders from the north west might be coming your way

We purchased a garden building from Smart Modular and it has been a great experience from start to finish. They really allowed us to create exactly what we wanted and did everything they could to help us through the process.

Over a month since Smart Modular finished our garden room and I still look at it and can’t believe it’s happened so efficiently.
We spoke with a number of companies before we came across Smart Modular. They were by far the easiest to deal with, totally listened to what we needed, came up with ideas, were flexible and was just no-nonsense really. Other companies only allowed virtual consultations or sent reps who came around with brochures. Despite being almost 200miles away, Smart Modular came in person to quote and weren’t put off by the project. Tim was the only consultant to peg an outline of the garden room on site with an extremely long tape measure, it sounds simple but no one else did this and it really helped with visualising the project. The quote was prompt, transparent, easy to understand and had breakdown prices for all optional extras. I don’t know if other companies do this but Smart Modular added us to a project WhatsApp group which enabled us to communicate with them with any queries every step of the project and they were always very speedy with replies, weekends too. Once contracts were signed and deposit paid, the garden room was made off site at their workshop, this was a dream. I have had friends who have had builders on site for weeks and this was definitely not something we wanted. In total, builders/electricians were on site for 8 days only, it would have been fewer days but we have a very long garden and we also wanted internet in the room which had to run out from our living room at the front of the house. This was a mammoth job and at one point I really thought this wasn’t possible but SM’s electricians completed the task… and I couldn’t even see the wires!! The whole team were hardworking and polite, we didn’t opt for the portaloo given we have a downstairs toilet, the team even took off their shoes when they came into the house which shows how respectful they were.
As mentioned, the garden room was completed over a month ago, we have decorated and furnished it now. The internet is perfect, we’re able to work in the room with no issues, stream Netflix as if we’re in the house. It’s been very cold recently and the radiator, which is in the corner of the garden room heats the room up in minutes, it’s so lovely and cosy in there. Anyway, really really pleased we found Smart Modular! Thank you all so much!
