I and my husband are first time buyer, we started this journey in Dec. 2024 but could not continue because of our network provider has put a default on my husband's credit report, Ellie The sale rep at Furlong Heath was really helpful, offering advise and checking up on us because it was such a difficult time. Ellie made buying a home so seamless and stress free despite the huddle- she is a gem.
Also a big thank you to Adrian who has been supportive since we move to our new home.

From start to finish we were keep updated and we were allowed to visit site and watch our new home being built. Wonderful communication with Ellie in the sales suite who made the whole process as easy as possible. We were shown around our new home by the site manager who explained all the gadgets and operations in the house. Can’t wait to move in now.

Ellie at the development has been so helpful, patient and professional throughout my purchase. This was due to complications I experienced with my sale and personal circumstances, and a few minor issues with the plot that were swiftly resolved in full. I had a few problems to start with, but when Michelle came to the Sales Suite it was a breath of fresh air. Michelle has always been helpful and returns calls with help and my snags were dealt with.
The only issue I had was registering the property for Council Tax, Gas, Water etc. as it seems that the main office had not done this!!

Rafal repaired and repainted a hole in our ceiling, which now looks immaculate, and even went above and beyond by fixing an issue with our door that he noticed. He was friendly and his attention to detail was excellent, thank you!

As a first time buyer, the whole process was incredibly smooth with Tilia Homes, Kings Park. The communication from the team has been incredible from start to finish, with any question asked responded to promptly. Michelle and Kat at Tilia in Cottenham have been absolutely fantastic throughout this journey, and I am incredibly grateful that I have had their support in buying my first home! Even with the development still being in progress, the groundworkers are very respectful, with the area being kept tidy and noise being managed.

Michelle was amazing. She looked after us really well and was very hospitable.

She was also very transparent and honest, which led to us buying a house from Tilia.

- Customer Service received from Sales Executive (Sally) is always warm, welcoming, and empathetic.
- The range of properties on site all feel and appear to be superb as far as construction, development, and style.
- All properties are very generously provided with appliances and household finishings.
- The housing area and streets are well maintained and kept tidy.

Whilst we didnt end up purchasing through Tilia, Ellie was always on hand to help throughout our enquiry and communicated well, even outside of her usual working hours!

If your new home has no major issues, buying from Tilia might be fine. But if anything goes wrong, be prepared for years of chasing. We’ve had a leak in our dormer since the day we moved in, and two years later I’m still following up every single week.

Tilia often appear willing to help, but nothing actually gets done. They put up scaffolding for two months and no one ever came to fix the issue. We asked for it to be removed, which they did — only to put it back up months later claiming they finally had the parts. That scaffolding has now been up for about seven months, and still not a single person has carried out any repairs.

We even have video of a contractor going up the ladder for about 30 seconds, then reporting back that there was “nothing wrong” with the dormer — meanwhile the inside is wet, and paint is cracking and flaking onto the floor. With heavy rain and storms coming, I’m expecting it will soon start leaking onto the carpet, leaving Tilia with an even bigger problem.

At this point, with the lack of customer care and zero progress, I’d honestly prefer Tilia to issue a final response letter so I can move forward with an NHBC claim. NHBC is already aware of what’s happening and is willing to help.

I am happy with the sevices i got from Tliahomes. Sally was kind, patient , yet professional in all her interactions with me.. She communicated with me through all the different stages of the process, enabling me to make an informed choice, her communication was excellent. Yes, i will recommend Tiliahomes to my friends and relatives.

Hayley supported me at Telford Saints View during Black Friday weekend. She was patient, knowledgeable, and there was nothing too big of an ask. Her attention to detail and thoroughness was appreciated and was able to talk through multiple options we had in a world new to me. She’d noted she was only 1 year in a trainee role as an apprentice and I genuinely would have believed her if she had told me she’s been there 5 years.
