Excellent service from Mr. Hughes. My bathroom was leaking water in to the downstairs apartment and he had a plumber visit within an hour to rectify the problem. I have also used them to fit a new toilet. Highly recommended.

Terry and the team are second to none and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Nothing is too much trouble, they are respectful (both as people but also to your property), knowledgeable, helpful and great value for money. You never feel like you are being "ripped off" as they explain carefully in layman's terms what is needed and give you multiple options. A really decent local company with decent employees.

Recently had central heating installed. The workman, Jake, was actually outstanding.
It was a pleasure to have him in my house. Got on with his work, worked like a Trojan in the heat, and got all the work done really quickly.
Had rather a serious setback on the last day, but Jake, with the help of Charlie and Kai, got around it.

I can't recommend this company highly enough - every element of the service was second-to-none. It's so refreshing to find a company that fills you with confidence. I dealt with Terry on the phone, who was completely professional, friendly and more than helpful - even suggesting I send photos of the issue so he could give me over-the-phone advice. The plumber (another Terry) arrived on time, was totally professional too, and quickly identified the issue; the work was very high-quality and completed briskly, at a great cost. All in all, they were efficient, honest and reliable - a real find!

Really appreciated the time he gave up on a Sunday to give me advice on resolving an issue with the hot water supply. Very friendly service and he was happy for me to call back several times to try to solve the problem. Will definitely be using him again. Highly recommended.

I have used T M Hughes many times and always been pleased with the professional and efficient way they solve problems. I had a leaky tap upstair and water was flowing through the ceiling. Terry came out straight away to get the situation under control. Shortly after he removed the faulty tap and installed a new one and managed to improve the water flow as well. Whilst at the house he also noticed an issue with my shower and just fixed it 'on the spot' without charging for this extra work. Its rare to find that sort of service. No hesitation in recommending this company."

Terry was really helpful today, he has great knowledge and managed to repair our ancient boiler yet again. He gave us good, sound and honest advice about our current boiler and made sure it was absolutely safe before he left. We know our boiler is absolutely at the end of its life and couldn’t think of a better guy to replace it for us. Genuine guy, knows his stuff and gets the job done - highly recommended!

Terry and TM Hughes in general have been a great find for me. Long story short, the pressure gauge was slowly dropping on the boiler, indicating a leak. I found two leaks on pipework joins and had them fixed, but the pressure kept slowly dropping. Other plumbers I tried didn’t help much at all, and the issue kept going for months. Eventually I found Terry and he worked with me to find out what was going on (phone calls/text messages, telling me what to do, what to test, etc, to find out the cause). He figured out it wasn't a leak anymore, but a ‘flat’ expansion vessel on the boiler. Came round, sorted it, and now everything’s fine. Terry actually took the time to help me figure out the problem, when other plumbers I tried didn't. I’ll carry on using Terry and TM Hughes for all jobs now.
