The quality of the record is really bad
The quality of the record is really poor so was the packaging,I paid extra for a limited edition candy wrapped vinyl. only comparing this to other vinyls I buy. I was also seriously annoyed that I had to buy Kylie Minogue‘s single for her new hit Xmas and it not be on the fully wrapped album.

Sadly, as we aren't the manufacturer nor the label, it is not in our control which tracks are included on the vinyl.

BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE!!! This seller advertises records that are not in stock, doesn’t tell you this before ordering and there has been no contact from the seller since ordering. This is m second review, my first seems to have been deleted! Ordered 3 vinyl LPs on Dec 8th as Christmas gifts. It is now January 8th and absolutely nothing, no vinyl, no contact - nothing! BEWARE!!! I would purchase from another seller - a reliable one who honours their orders. A complete waste of time. Shame on you, like a lot of people nowadays, you just want peoples money

Since providing your 2 reviews (none of which have been deleted), our Head of Customer Service has reached out to you via email on 14th January, 16th January, and 20th January, but to date we haven't received a response from you. We really hope you reply to our emails as we want to make sure you're happy with our service.
Upon checking your order, I see we've sent items via Royal Mail which are tracked as delivered.
Some items are sold on a drop ship service, meaning we need to order these in from the supplier to fulfil each order placed, and sometimes it can take time for the stock to reach us, but this information should be available to you in your account to see estimated dispatch dates.
Again we hope you respond to our team's emails so we can try to ensure you are happy with our company.

Good service/Very slow delivery
Have ordered numerous times from Townsend Music and never had any problems with delivery. But since I live orverseas most of the times delivery is very slow. Since postage is very expensive I expect delivery to be faster. Other sites have same postage costs and delivery is much faster as they send it by courier. I do not know why but Townsend Music charges 3 times as much for order to be sent by courier. I am still waiting for an order to arrive and it was dispatched on the 10th December. That is 20 days and still waiting.
I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars
Finally my order arrived and today I received a reply from TM regarding my earlier review.

I pre-ordered a Vinyl in October which arrived today and the cardboard vinyl sleeve was ripped at one end, pretty disappointing when waiting 2 months.

As usual ordered my music with Townsend Music and this time the local Dutch parcel delivery lost the package.
But the quick reaction of Townsend Music assured the delivery by sending again and in time before Xmas.

Delivery unsuccessful and no assistance availabvle.
Second time ordering and first order arrived with no issue.This order cannot be found and is marked as complete even though I do not have it.Gift was to be for Christmas but cant even register that I haven't received it until January 23rd.

Good Communication & Resolution of Missing Items
My experiences with TownsendMusic have always been good, having ordered from them (and artist shop-fronts hosted by them) a few times over the years both when living in UK and now in Canada.
I pre-ordered the CD & vinyl record versions of Levellers re-release of Zeitgeist a while back; upon dispatch it got lost in the Canadian post and diverted off to US (such is the efficacy of Canada Post), and they immediately replied back to me and arranegd the replacement, which managed to successfully arrive a few days later.

I pre-ordered 2 tshirts
I pre-ordered 2 tshirts, to be dispatched 14 November, didn't get sent. Tried contacting them, no reply, then got email 2 weeks later with new tshirt design and different release date. Eventually asked for refund, which is still pending in my account.
Poor communication, wouldn't recommend this company.

Extortionate shipping, incredibly slow dispatch
Townsend Music consider 2 weeks after purchase with no contact acceptable dispatch time. Ordered some products from Feeder, which is dealt with and processed by Townsend music. Shipping was over £7 for 4 small cassettes. 48 Hours tracked (should be closer to £3 or £4)
A week later, they haven't even dispatched the order. Edit: After reaching out, they promised the product would be dispatched on Friday last week. It still hasn’t been and they’re not replying to the support ticket.
Edit 2: They finally dispatched a week after promising it would go same day. They refunded shipping after I complained about the service. They think that this means I should give them a good review.

We have looked into this information provided and can confirm that this order was shipped out within our dispatch timescale, and has been delivered within the timescale set by Royal Mail for delivery. I also see that our Customer Service Team also provided a partial refund as a goodwill gesture, but this all appears to have been completed in time.
Our Head of Customer Service has tried to contact you by email on 10th December, 12th December, and on 16th December, but we are yet to receive a response.

I preordered an album 3 weeks ago
I preordered an album 3 weeks ago, it was meant to be delivered by the 24th of November, its now 2nd of December and I still haven't heard a thing about my order. Really disappointing, ive cancelled my order since then, refund was to be in my account within 5 days and still nothing. Very poor

Ordered 2 items on the 14th November…
Ordered 2 items on the 14th November and haven’t received either of the items. Have received my order confirmation and since the 14th have heard nothing. Have tried contacting through their website but the website isn’t allowing me to send an email over. Overall not a very happy experience especially when you spend over £70 including postage to not recieve the items.
