terrible experience…
I had an absolutely terrible experience with this garage and would never buy a car from here. I found a car online which I was interested in an paid a £99 deposit to reserve the car. I then spoke to Adam on the phone and agreed that I would view the car on Sunday. I sent pictures of my car on WhatsApp hoping to do a part exchange and even specified on message that this would be for the car and model that I had reserved. Adam responded over text and nothing more was mentioned. I then driver an hour to the garage on Sunday to be told that that car that I had PAID to reserve had been sold and that I did not have an appointment. I explained that I had had it confirmed that I would be coming there on Sunday. They were completely useless and unapologetic, instantly on the defence saying that I did not have an appointment and the car was sold days ago. It turned out the car had been sold before I had interactions on WhatsApp where I had confirmed the car that I was going to view. Why was I not made aware of this before driving an hour there?! Absolutely disgraceful. I then got an email from autotrader saying that the garage had advised them that I had bought the car. I’m guessing because they realised that the car was reserved and they shouldn’t have sold it. I will be taking this further.
