Bear in mind that Tomkinson Heating is no more. They were aggressively taken over by Cas Care who have none of their engineers.
Gas Care, as the name implies, are not primarily about oil. If you want the old Tomkinson approach and time served engineers then look for HT Heating Ltd..
Installed a log burner at our property in Rainow. We subsequently discovered it hadn’t been installed correctly or to the required building regulations. On its first use, all the plaster behind it blew off and cracked. It should have been heat proof but it wasn’t. The supporting wood for the plaster was charred and the whole room could have gone up in flames.
When challenged about the dreadful installation they quite literally were not interested in offering support, admitting liability or offering any assistance.
Absolute nightmare - great stove, however the fitting of it 18mths ago is so bad we have water coming in onto the stove & floor. Tomkinson tried to resolve with lots of sealant but now having to get a different company to resolve and possible action against them as ceiling now rotten. Also, broke our window and finally a man fell off a ladder whilst fitting - really stressful experience. Even wondering if HETAS compliant, having to raise with them too...

You have always made me priority when asked and never left me without heating!
In late 2024 I had to have my boiler renewed and decided to replace the radiators and pipework throughout my property! The service I received was excellent - detailed survey, costings itemised, schedule of works and timeframe.
The team were all professional and knowledgable - happy to address changes I wanted to make whilst the work proceeded.
I was treated with respect by all and payment terms were made easy and consideration for my needs whilst living in the property were accommodated at all times!!
Oil fired heating is specialist and Tomkinsons provide qualified personnel.
