So we bought a shelter dome directly from trail which turned out to be flimsy and failed in 20-25mph (according to google) winds with poles snapping in the first camping holiday it experience. Other tents did blow over in the camp site, mainly being shelter domes but ours was the first to go. Our main big 8 man tent was fine. The design isnt the best and lacks enough well placed guide ropes but it is the cheapest shelter dome going so i guess you get what you pay for.
I contacted Trail who agreed to a refund however that 3 weeks ago and i am yet to receive a refund even though i have chased a couple of times.
They probably will refund it eventually but i would avoid this brand given the quality of product and customer service.

Avoid....tent poles break too easily
I bought the Bowden 3 man tent in the summer of last year. The first time I attempted to erect it, one of the poles snapped, I contacted the company and on this occasion they did send a new pole to the campsite.
I have only used the tent a handful of times in non windy conditions, and after just 3 times, the poles begun to split. By the end of this summer all 3 poles are split. I contacted the company and they refused to send me new poles.
For a tent only just a year old with not much use...two weeks use in all over a few short trips, I do not feel this acceptable.
I am an experienced camper and previously have had tents last over 10 years.
It is such a shame as in every other way the tent was perfect, however it is now unusable and even left me with cuts on my hands and fingers where the poles had splintered.
I would not recommend this company.

The shaped inflatable mattress…
The shaped inflatable mattress surpasses expectations on quality/comfort, so easy to install/inflate with the built-in air pump. Likewise for deflation and packing away.
I wasn't sure whether it would fit my Smart #5, but their website provides all the key information to dispel any doubts. A must have accessory for camping mode.
Unfortunately the Frunk on my Brabus version is just not large enough for the packed mattress, but I would guess it would easily fit any of the other Smart #5 single drive versions.

Still awaiting refund on a faulty airbed after 34 days of being promised my money back
Purchased a deluxe airbed online on the 1st August 2026 which arrived faulty (kept losing air). Contacted customer service and provided evidence as requested who advised a refund would be processed and issued to my original payment method within 10 days. This was on the 22nd August. Today is now the 24th SEPTEMBER and I have STILL not recieved the refund after waiting 34 days! I have attempted to contact Trail MULTIPLE times but keep being told they are "experience high volumes of contact", with my most recent email now being ignored. This is unacceptable and I feel I am left with no other option but to leave this review in the hopes of bringing the matter to their attention. Order ref TR-209490

Great awning
Fast delivery, and an awful lot of driveaway awning for the money, great value. Clear building and packing instructions, and everything included that we could need, which was nice.
The attention to detail is excellent with numerous nice little touches, and the bag that's big enough to be able to quickly pack it down between rain showers rather than throw it in the van and so get everything else wet is very much appreciated.
No hesitation in recommending.

Bought the gazebo xl
Bought the gazebo xl. It was very flimsy when erecting, it’s 4 single pole hoops with a cross in the top. V hard to build on your own you need at least another 1 person if not 2 to build this. Looks ok but as I thought when building this bent very easily in what I would describe as a light wind. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone else. I contacted trail to purchase an additional pole, customer care replied with no and haven’t heard anything since. I wouldn’t buy this one I’d keep looking for another.
