They did an "overhaul" of the UI and its only 20% finished and being forced onto everyone. I made a forum post letting them know about a very big bug in their unfinished product and was banned immediately from forums and even from EMAILING their support. They are getting tons of backlash right now and im guessing they are deciding to BAN anyone and everyone from speaking out even in a constructive manner. Sucks this app has changed so much. all sections have their labels removed and replaced with "minimalist" icons that are honestly so vauge. This minimal "New" version also has lower limits for free accounts. Ive deleted my account and am looking for a better alternative due to Trakt.tv V3 just being a shadow of its former self and the moderators refuse any "opinions" in a FORUM. I think it was bought out honestly. yearly subscription used to be 1$...ITS NOW 6. nuff said. look elsewhere if you are looking for a long term Tv/Movie/Show/Anime tracker/website. :(

I've used the platform for over 7 years as a paying user. They've recently forced visual changes that make the platform unusable and that is a downgrade from the former experience. They are removing features without adding new ones whilst also doubling the price.

The people in charge seem to have lost their touch with the community and what they want. The platform was once good, but sadly that time is now gone.

Con la nuova grafica, il sito ha perso il senso per cui era stato creato. Il senso del sito era quello di catalogare in modo ordinato serie TV (concluse e in corso) e i film guardati.
Adesso nel profilo compaiono gli ultimi dieci episodi/film guardati. Basta.
Si è persa la lista della serie TV concluse e dei film guardati.

Io mi auguro che questa schifezza di grafica sia stata progettata da un bambino dell’asilo, perché un professionista non può pensare di progettare seriamente qualcosa del genere.

Oltretutto, gli amministratori sanno di avere fatto una cavolata, quindi hanno tolto la possibilità di scaricare i dati completi. In parole povere, crearsi uno “scaffale” altrove sarà alquanto complicato.

First they put lists with 100+ items behind a paywall, and now they changed the whole layout so it is impossible to see dates you watched things. Why track it, if you can't actually see when you watched something? And I found this out after creating a spreadsheet to actually compile all the episodes I watch in a year, because clearly trakt can't do that anymore. Absolutely useless. Don't fix it if it is not broken. Really is time to look for a replacement, trakt is only getting worse from here.

Used to be the best place to track movies and shows. Changes over the past couple of years made it barely usable. UX plummeted. All the user feedback is acknowledged and yet completely ignored...

dont pay for anything with them. they over charged me and when i brought it up to support they closed my ticket and removed my vip without refund.

One of the worst Customer support, you get banned for speaking. And the site always has several downtimes and server bugs.

And the plan pricing went from $15 to $70. Good luck.

Je ne comprends pas ce site. Mon profil est configuré en français sur tous les paramètres. et malgré cela, rien ne m'indique le nom des films ou série dans ma langue. Les descriptifs restent en anglais... j'ai vraiment du manquer qq ch !
Quant aux recommandations... je me retrouve avec une myriade de fils d'horreur et d'épouvante, alors que je ne regarde pas de films de ce style. Vraiment je ne comprends pas quel peut être le lien entre les recommandations qui me sont faites et mon historique de visionnage.
Et ne parlons pas de l'ergonomie... c'est lourd, chargé! Le regard ne sais pas ou se poser pour trouver une information.

Conclusion : le site ne m'est d'aucune utilité à ce jour. Vraiment une grosse deception par rapport à la promesse de vente, proposant de faire des recommandations personnalisées.

I used to recommend Trakt to everyone. It was the best tool out there for tracking movies and TV shows — clean, reliable, and community-driven. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. Ever since the partnership with Younify (and the suspiciously identical branding), the service has gone downhill. The site is buggy, support is nonexistent, and features that were once free now require a VIP subscription at twice the original price — with no real added value. Worse still is how they treat their community. The official forum has gone silent on the developer side, and user feedback is ignored. If you voice any criticism about recent decisions, your post gets hidden and your account is restricted for several days. The official reason? “Creating dissent.” In some cases, users who express negative opinions have even had their accounts permanently deleted without warning. That alone should raise serious red flags. This isn’t progress. It’s a decline marked by censorship, arrogance, and disregard for long-time users. I can no longer recommend Trakt — in fact, I strongly advise against it. There are better, more transparent alternatives out there that actually respect their community.

After years of being a supporter, I cancelled my VIP subscription and moved on to other platforms.

Used to be a big fan of this site but since they made certain changes in how they operate things (cap of 100 shows and movies combined in the watchlist) I have decided to move on to another provider for maintaining which shows and movies I have watched and am still planning to watch.
