Ordered a C45 box, and the service from start to delivery has been first class. The box is extremely robust, well made and looks amazing in the car. Really impressed with the quality and service. Highly recommended!

Great experience, great customer service. The product was missing a component and they resolved it in the post for me so fast, within a day of purchase! The crates themselves are solid and will keep my dogs safe and comfortable! Really would recommend and would purchase from them again in the future

I have just taken delivery of a Translock Storage Drawer for my 110 Defender. I made an initial query through the website back in April and Fraser responded immediately with all the questions to my queries. I then made contact again a couple of weeks ago regarding a fitting query and Jeanette responded immediately again. I placed the order online and got an immediate call thanking me for my order and to arrange a delivery date. The storage drawer turned up on the agreed date and was packaged incredibly well so that there was no chance of damage during transit. It was so easy to fit as per the instructions. The fit and finish of the drawer is superb and it looks fantastic in the back of my Defender. The whole interaction with Trans-K9 has been simply superb. It is rare in today’s world that companies respond so quickly and deliver on every promise. Cannot recommend them enough. Well done to the whole Trans-K9 team.

So just purchased my 5th dog box from transk9. As usual fantastic service and customer support. The box itself is perfect with only a few tiny improvements from the first one I brought over 10 years ago which speaks volumes. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it!
They are not the cheapest but absolutely the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and when you change vehicles the second hand value is very satisfying and demand is high. I’ve never had a problem selling on. Keep up the amazing work and peerless products.

I had sent an initial enquiry via email & I got a call from Kirsten the next morning. She suggested I put my dogs in the car & popped down as I was only 30 min drive away. I did & not only were myself & my 3 dogs welcomed by Kristen & Jeanette but also very warmly by other staff too. Everyone was extremely helpful & when I indicated that not only did I want the protection for my own dogs but also for a dog & wildlife charity that I volunteer for which means having to transport dogs of various sizes from greyhounds & whippets to Staffies & XL bullies & wildlife from mice to deer, they were able to advise on the best products. All cages were expertly fitted on site too.
In short, I felt listened to & respected for the safety of the animals I was entrusted to transport. Highly recommend TransK9 if you want your pet, or any animal, to be protected whilst driving.

The C24 single dog box & accessories are of excellent quality and arrived overnight. Easy to fit in vehicle, solid & secure for Lily. Unfortunately it was just ever so slightly small for her both in length & height.
TransK9 promptly arranged for re-collection & refund. Excellent customer service. I would recommend this product & company on all counts.

I debated writing this review, but I feel it is important for other dog owners to have more information when choosing a crash tested kennel. My goal is not to attack TransK9 or tell anyone what product they should buy. I simply want to share my personal experience.

I was involved in a serious accident while driving my Subaru Forester with my service dog secured in a TransK9 C38 kennel. The vehicle sustained significant damage to ONLY the front end, not the back or sides, and I suffered major injuries. Thankfully, my dog survived, with only a bruised lung, but during the collision the aluminum frame around the kennel door bent, the tie-down straps cut into the aluminum, the escape door opened, and my dog was ejected from the kennel onto the passenger vehicle floorboard.

I purchased this kennel because it was marketed as a crash tested safety kennel and had such great reviews. The first TransK9 I saw was at dog sport event in a RAV4 and the seats were down. It was actually a training company with 3 different cars and I had my dog load up in each one. I fully understand that no kennel can guarantee a perfect outcome in every accident, and I acknowledge that my rear seats were folded down because I was transporting work equipment. I take responsibility for that decision.

My concern is that the importance of the seat position was not clearly communicated as a CRITICAL safety limitation. Before purchasing, I was provided a brief sentence in an email and verbally over the phone that their C38 was designed to be used behind the second row seats with the seats upright. However, I did not understand that the crash testing was only performed in that configuration or that using it differently could significantly impact safety performance. This includes all of their kennels. If the seats are down, their entire kennel is no longer safe. Period.

If a specific installation requirement is critical to crash performance, I believe that information should be extremely clear on the website, product pages, installation instructions, and ideally on the kennel itself. Safety limitations should not be something customers have to piece together after an accident. Their website is an absolute mess and the crash “summary” and the kennels, I no longer have confidence in after our phone call.

After the crash, I contacted TransK9 because I wanted to understand what happened and provide feedback that could potentially help future customers. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was disappointing.

During the conversation, I felt that many of my concerns were met with blame and explanations about why the failure occurred rather than genuine consideration of how safety information could be improved. When I explained that the seat position limitation should be made clearer, I was told it was “common sense.” I told Jami, it’s also common sense to not put a hair dryer in the bath tub, but there’s a warning label on them. There is no common sense law and assumptions should never be made. You are selling a product to the general public with a wide variety of backgrounds. To say the least, it felt extremely dismissive while discussing the fact that my service dog had been ejected from a kennel purchased specifically for crash protection.

After nearly 45 minutes on the phone of Jami arguing with me over something so simple —to just add CLEAR information on their website and WARNINGS on instructions, the crate, etc — I was told they would need to discuss wording with their attorney “since apparently it’s not that obvious.” Again, regardless of intent, the response felt dismissive of a reasonable safety concern.

The conversation ended with the comment, I’m sorry this happened to you and your dog. Jami could have left it at that, but instead, she said “Tell Subaru to make safer cars.”

My response was simple: my Subaru is exactly what saved my life and my dog’s life. And Subaru makes one of THE safest cars on the market.

I am not claiming another kennel would have performed differently in this exact accident, and I am not saying nobody should purchase a TransK9. Every crash is different.

What I am saying is that when purchasing any product marketed around safety, customers deserve clear information about testing conditions, limitations, and proper installation. Ask questions. Ask how it was tested. Ask what conditions it was tested under.

My hope is that TransK9 considers making important safety limitations and crash testing details much more visible so future customers can make fully informed decisions before trusting a product with their dog’s life. I won’t ever be trusting my dogs life with TransK9 again, and if you have one, I would suggest you ALWAYS keep seats up, and do some more research. Request the FULL crash testing report & videos.

Absolutely brilliant customer service. We showed up hoping to take a look at the dog crates in person. No messing around one was brought out of the warehouse and unwrapped for us to have a look. No obligation or pressure to purchase. We did however leave with a brand new C26 in the back. Build quality exceptional and finish. Topped with the best customer service. Thanks you

These products came with a recommendation from my dog trainer. I ordered a crate for my 5-year old springer spaniel with the accessories. All the products are of great quality, are easy to install and are a perfect fit for my mini countryman. I also wanted to highlight fantastic customer service (I needed to exchange the crate for a bigger size). The exchange process (pick up and delivery) was super smooth. I just called with a general enquiry, and Kirsten was so helpful, it was a real delight to speak to someone who goes out of their way to answer your questions and be as helpful as possible. A visit to collect the transit box resulted in us actually getting a different model, as Andy offered us a slightly larger box to give our 2 dogs a bit more room. Totally impressed with the service, and willingness to make sure we got the best solution. We thoroughly recommend them.

We bought a C53 Crate for our Range Rover sport P460e, after contacting Jeanette at Trans - K9.
She has a great knowledge of all cars and crates, so after a chat we purchased the crate, Jeanette even held the truck back that came to collect their deliveries so she could load ours on to it so we could receive it next day.
