Even when visa application failed he encouraged me to try again believing my kids can still travel to the UK. Travel Link helped ensure electric airport golf cart vehicle was provided to chauffeur my mum through the airport premises

I seen a good deal so contact the agent for travelelink the taken £300 deposit then no one got back to me till after weekend. Then changed it from £1020 to £1200 so I said that’s unfair ask for my money back there said there’s a cancellation free of £200 out of my £300 this is so much a con and a bad company to use cannot be trusted agent name Ricky bell

Before giving my review, which seems to reflect what many people here have experienced, i would like to know how we go forward after these bad experiences . Has anyone successfully got their money returned and if so how . We need to help each other and not only exchange horror stories but show ways to beat these con artists

Booked a flight for my mum, Anna Zoe 02036171521 ,was patient especially as we wanted to see different flight options before we made the final decision. Made the process smooth. Was clear in explaining the different flights available. Good communication

They persuaded me to change my date of travelling and pay a little money on top of the one I paid because of the airline could not confirm my seat for the date I picked.
Jeff Ryan apologised on behalf of the airline and spoke to me well, his approach is very good.

I booked flights with Travelelink Ltd (order refs TRA18236 & TRA18237) and paid small deposits. I confirmed both bookings in writing the same day, exactly as requested.

Despite this, no tickets were ever issued. A few days later I was told the original flights were “no longer available” and was pressured to accept different dates and higher prices. When I refused, the sales approach became aggressive.

Their own terms admit that:
• Deposits are “non-refundable”, even before tickets are issued.
• Prices are “not guaranteed until ticket is issued”, so they can increase the fare after taking your money.
• They also charge a £75 “cancellation fee” per person, even if no service has been provided.

In practice this means you’re lured in by a low fare, then forced into a much worse deal or risk losing your deposit. Looking at the many other 1-star reviews here, my experience is not unique — it’s a clear pattern of bait-and-switch tactics.

Consumers should be very wary of this company. I’ve filed complaints with Citizens Advice/Trading Standards and will be pursuing a chargeback with my bank.
