Their website says they prescribe…

Their website says they prescribe certain medications with a prior prescription. I’m in California which is a state that allows online refills. I was in between health insurance and minder was much less than a dr visit for me so i thought it might be a good option. It was a complete waste of money. The np i got had a god complex, said he never prescribes my medicine. I let him know that they shouldn’t advertise this if they can’t do it, as i wasted money as i trusted their policies on their website. When i said it’s false advertising he used an excuse that the Covid emergency for telemedicine was over so he can’t prescribe it. When i asked how that has anything to do with what is on minded’s website info he then change it to he never prescribes it and minded doesn’t say that, he said i misunderstood. I showed exactly him where it was in the website he played dumb. When i asked what he recommended he listed nothing that could be taken on demand for a panic attack. I don’t have anxiety often and don’t want to take a ssri or antihistamine daily. I don’t like to take medications in the first place. I asked if he can prescribe a beta blocker to help lower my heart rate when a panic attack causes my heart to race and he said no, only Paxil/ ssri drugs, which i won’t take as they don’t feel safe to me. Too many side effects. Overall it was very false info, so i requested a refund to which minded refused , stating it is to the discretion of the dr… why would minded provide me with a doctor who refused to prescribe a medicine that they promote on their website. It was a Terrible experience. I ended up waiting it out until my insurance was reinstated for a dr visit for a refill, which they happily gave me. I do not recommend minded due to their misleading info. Not trustworthy.

Due to the end of the Public Health Emergency, as of February 6, 2023, Minded no longer prescribes any controlled medications, including stimulants, benzodiazepines, and some sleep medications. We're very to sorry to hear this wasn't clear upon sign-up, and are happy to hear you have found a treatment method that works for you.

My doctor was great but now after all…

My doctor was great but now after all the time and work to get my medication transferred to Minded they are no longer prescribing Alprozalam. Bye . Lost business. Still plenty of other pharmacy options who can prescribe effective medication for people who follow rules and are not drug seekers. Not all of us who use Alprozalam are drug addicts. Specially when everything is on record and we follow rules we still pay for those who use it to get high. Great system for Minded to lose even more customers. Oh well their loss . I still get mine from a doctor who cares and less drama. Avoid Minded and their drama. Keep looking.

I have always had a positive experience with minded. Very convenient and easy to use Minded. I would recommend to everyone. Right now through transitioning it can be a bit difficult. Once the wrinkles are ironed out I will rate 5 stars.

Medication list is limited, horrible customer service, very expensive

I had an awful experience. I just wanted to renew my very normal prescription for light anxiety and trouble staying asleep. I had received busiprone and trazadone from Kaiser Permanente for three years and was pleased. But had to switch employers and thus insurance companies.

The doctor came late, talked at me rather than listen, and told me my medication wasn't on his list of ready-and-approved medications. He prescribed me something that I've never taken and which was for more severe symptoms than I have.

I asked to cancel. Minded team wrote me back to say they canceled. And then three months later I realized I was still getting billed 45 every month. I wrote them back because you can't call in...

They said I had canceled. I sent them proof that they were billing me. And then they said, "Madame, you canceled but then you asked us to put you back on."

What??

All I can recommend is that you avoid this company. There are so many more efficient and attentive and honest online doctors out there.

Computer issues

First of all I missed my appointment and had to call because you changed your computer system and it wouldn't let me in. I had to have (Taylor who was awesome) redo my email address and password at least 6 times before we finally got in. So my appointment was changed to 4:45 and I couldn't hear anything she was saying. These were all computer issues so I 'm not blaming anyone. With anxiety issues something like this can really throw you. I just hope my next visit runs more smoothly.

It's a great service to use ... legit and professional practitioners especially the one I "go to" Bridgett Gant. It doesn't need to take too much time out of your day and they care about treating your concerns.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. I think they are probably being shutdown or something. They basically took my money and that’s it. They got back to me once saying people are having trouble signing in knowing that I have already paid for an application I’m going to get because I can’t sign in??? They are legit ripping people off
