months to give a refund - till i posted a negative review


they only started the refund when i left a negative review- despite me cancelling the order within minutes, i only received automatic replies

Pink shaver

Great little shaver,was a bit dubious when I first bought because it took a while to arrive but have to say its very good,lots of different heads to fit onto it for nose trimmer,body shaver,leg shaver & bikini parts

SCAM don't waste your money

Waste of money. First one I bought broke literally within a month. Stopped charging. They sent me a replacement. Literally another 3 months it broke down. I charged it once and it wouldn't charge anymore. In the very short time i had this, it gave me micro cuts, and little bleeds, it pinches, grabs and tugs onto your skin and you get horrible bumps and cuts. You can find way better ones from Temu for literally £10 or less. Pure absolute scam.

Broke after 2 months

Only lasted a couple of months before it no longer charged up! While it was working, I still got the usual razor bumps and itching and it was not even a clean shave. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this company and its products. Great marketing but no substance to back it up.

Not worth it at all. Way over priced and not a smooth shave, stick with a razor.

RUN…doesn’t work

Thick hair and thin hair all techniques tried and none had this razor working in the slightest. Deceptive return policy puts the responsibility of return shipping on the customer which they tell you only after contacting customer service will be approximately 50% of the cost of the item. They originally only offered 30% money back guarantee until I complained. Customer service is responsible timely and polite…it’s not their fault this business is in it to scam people out of their money.

Fast shipping and great product

Fast shipping and great product. I was a little hesitant about purchasing this but absolutely love the razor. It comes with different attachments so no need for additional trimers.

Highly overrated

Overrated razor promoted by paid influencers. Also really horrible company who don’t stick to UK consumer laws and wouldn’t replace the charger that stopped working just a few months later. Don’t waste your money, better products out there.

Poor customer service

I originally ordered the original solys razor. A week later I received an email regarding the solys 2.0, so I ordered it. The 2.0 did work better than the original.
When i went to change the razor head to a different one the head of the razor broke. I emailed and explained the situation and provided pictures and videos as requested. And on May 23rd Vangie emailed saying that she had processed an order for a new razor.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, having not received the replacement razor that Vangie said she had processed, I was asked to explain my entire experience again, They are now saying it was user error and that they won't be sending me a new razor as originally promised

Solys truly delivers

I've tried a few different razors but solys is definitely different. I don't think I have ever actually had completely smooth legs like this. I'm truly impressed.

No cuts,almost pleasing , I was used to razors and was Always bleeding or irritated, this makes all Easy, good price for value, thanks indeed

Incredibly dishonest company

Incredibly dishonest company. the razor does not work at all and when you try to get your money back, they make it impossible to get more than 50% back after the shipping costs. Their "30 day money back guarantee" is a complete lie and their product is a sham.

Incorrect Order Resolved

07/07/25: I have received a FlashDrive instead of the one I ordered. This is a HUGE SCAM! I’m very disappointed and frustrated to recieved something that I did not get. I’m not gonna buy from this company again! 1 Star.

07.31.25: I reached out to the support team after receiving an incorrect order (a flash drive instead of the Solys product). They were very apologetic and promptly sent me the correct item at no additional cost. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service! My only complaint is that it took almost 2 weeks to arrive, but it was expected. Thank you once again!

If I could leave zero stars, I would.
Doesn’t actually do anything and still waiting to hear back from customer services about my return. Patronising lies from their social media team about having responded to my emails.

What a waste of time, effort and money.

*EDIT* two weeks, two more emails and several social media messages and I’m still waiting for a reply about a refund.

I loved the fact that I had no razor…

I loved the fact that I had no razor burns after the first use. The razor cuts smooth and no nicks on my legs. It lasts longer than using a disposable razor and which is good for me since I have sensitive skin.

This razor is great! I struggle with PCOS and this has made removing my facial hair so much easier. Definitely recommend!
