Once good. Now absolutely terrible. AVOID.

Once good. Now probably the worst host you could possibly choose,

What a sad fall from grace. I was a customer for over 15 years. On top of recently increasing prices and changing my plan without notification, I encountered website issues that they completely failed to address, despite numerous attempts to contact them.

After over a week of waiting, I've given up. Somehow, they have time to respond to people on Twitter and Trustpilot, but not to actual tickets. Maybe spend more time running the company and serving your paying customers instead of trying to save face.

I've cut my losses. The company is blatantly in a bad state. They have been consistently terrible, as many other reviews have stated. After over 15 years, I've had enough.

I genuinely believe this is now the WORST host you could choose. If their support team had actually followed through on their promises or made any attempt to resolve or even respond, I might have considered excusing the ABYSMAL service.

STAY AWAY! TSO Host is more expensive AND worse than pretty much every other provider.

Sadly, the final step of the migration process involving transfer of my domain name requires that it's approved by TSO Host. It's like being held ransom to their ineptitude.

I truly mean this. Save yourself needless stress and choose ANY other host.

I can't wait to be done with them for good.

Absolute JOKE

Absolute JOKE! Migrated our account on Friday 5th July 2024. All our 17 company emails now don’t work. Raised ticket on the Friday, as live chat not showing! Now Monday 8/7 09.20am still no live chat showing, no reply to tickets. We operate 365 and have lost a hugh amount of work due to their incompetence and lack of support. No phone number to make contact. Absolute appalling! Will be taking legal advice due to losses!

Migration disturbance spanning 3 days…

Migration disturbance spanning 3 days and unable to update and connection with 'piwigo' gallery is not working either.
Cpanel login is invalid now and unable to have 'Live chat' and my ticket has not been pickedup for 2 days.
can't get my email either....sad

Account deleted

After 17 years having an account (from 2007) at tsohost, they just deleted my account without any explanation despite proper on time payments.
Now they can't be reached out, there is no support anymore and no more access...
All my personal data is now probably jeopardized.
AVOID THEM IN THE FUTURE !!!
But first of all, make backups of your data!

What used to be a great company is now…

What used to be a great company is now a shadow of it's former self.

Support used to be excellent and responsive but now, as an example Ticket #3699421 has been ignored for 10 days and this was an important domain transfer and both my wife and I cannot get important emails.

I have sat on their live chat for in excess of an hour many times waiting for a support person to answer and this never used to be the way until GoDaddy took them over.

Boxtrapper gone from TsoHost

The Migration has meant that I have been without emails on my Mac and Iphone for 3 days. I opened a ticket and tried to get in touch via chat, but it took me 2.5 days to speak to someone. I managed to get the phone and mac and online email to work by myself, but a big feature called Boxtrapper is lost in the new version. I spent a long time building up my white/black and ignore list and I am not happy about it. I asked if I could have money back going forward to show willing, but I was told that is not possible. I am looking to change provider. I trusted that all that time I spent building up a system, would stay.

Domain not working

Domain not working - ticket sent 28th June, live chat tried 2 times, after waiting an hour still not working,
e-mail sent no reply. Has this company gone out of business ? they took annual fee for the domain 29th May so not providing what I paid for.

Terrible bad service

Terrible bad service - no telephone number - no one responds to chat box - in an emergency - it is not goo dot wait 5+ days and still not get a response in a major website outage ?

AVOID!

AVOID!! As a web designer I have experience with most hosting companies out there.

TSOHOST are literally the worst I've ever seen. They are trying to trade on a reasonable reputation they had many years ago before they were taken over by GoDaddy.

They are now in a process of "Upgrading" their legacy hosting packages to something more expensive which don't work. Checkout their Status page to see the list of issues.

Also be aware of their SSL policy. This used to be free (let's encrypt) and renewed automatically. Not any more. Now you have to manually create and apply your own cert every couple of months - or fork out for an extra £50 a year to purchase a certificate from TSOHOST!

As if that's not bad enough, it seems everyone in their support team have left the building. There is no live chat (despite claiming there is). And no way of contacting them unless you create a support ticket, which then just sits there unanswered for days.

It honestly seems like GoDaddy are simply buying out the competition and then killing it off with zero regard for their customers.

After numerous issues this year, it feels so good to finally ditch these clowns and hook up with a proper hosting company :)

Worst than before

I have been with this company for 9 years. It used to be great but now it's mediocre. Before you could call/chat/email for support. Now they only have a chat option which no one picks up. Each time they do some changes it's worst too. This company needs to go back to the old ways or see itself losing customers...

Gone down the pan and getting worse

I've been with TSO for many years and have been happy with them for most part, but since being taken over their service has been absolutely pitiful.
I've just been waiting over an hour on their chat and after a very short discussion with Vlad Stefan I've been cut off the chat, having previously cut of the chat from their end before even talking to someone.

This problem came about after my SSL certificate expired - if it did actually expire as TSO hosts now SELL SSL certificates, so perhaps I am expected to pay for something that was previously free?
The least they could do was explain it to me but no, they are so hard pressed in support they would rather loose another customer than give the support customers need.
As with a lot of other industries, the job now is to generate income at the expense of customer service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Anyone know a good webbhosting service?

Just awful. No support whatsoever.

TSOhost has been acquired by GoDaddy. Now it is impossible to get any support. No replies to tickets, chat does not work and there is no phone number to call. I have only just upgraded my server with TSO, now I am completely stranded with issues. What a nightmare!

Beware: TSOHost is not the company they were in 2018

All of the other reviews here for TSOHost date back to 2018 or earlier- before the company was taken over by Paragon. They used to be pretty reasonable by now their service is APPALLING. Sign up with them if you want to have all of your access to email taken away, your hosting fees hiked for no reason and to be ignored time after time after time when you try to get help. And don't bother looking for their phone number- you can no longer speak to a human being.

They don't care about service or helping- TSOHost owned by Paragon just want your money.

TSO Host made one of my domain accounts…

TSO Host made one of my domain accounts expire. I had the renewal on auto renew and could see the payment had gone through.
My issues is that their support is useless. It has taken me 5 days to get the domain reinstated and working.
There is no phone contact or numbers. Their ticket system just dosn't work. I am still waiting for the ticket to be looked at.
The other option is online chat. At the last attempt it took nearly 2 hours to get to an support agent.
The frustrating part was it took the agent 2 seconds to fix!
This company needs to upgarade how fast their support works, at the moment it is useless. Only operating between 9.00am & 5.00pm and not at weekends.
I run a company that relies on the web site and emails and having to spent hours trying to sort the problem out cost money and upsets my customers.
Also I have lost 5 days of emails some of which would be orders
TSO Host sort out your support.

From 5 Stars to 1!

tsohost.com had gone from a 5-star company to a 1-star! Since they decided to upgrade my hosting packages and increase the fees, I have had a lot of issues.
I used to be able to resolve them quickly, but the online form is not active and no one is replying to tickets.
I will be looking to migrate my hosting soon if this continues. Shame!

Just awful, how can this be a viable business
We have been with tsoHost for many years. Almost no problems and prompt professional support when there was. But this year they have been unreliable, almost uncontactable support and online help pages are useless so unable to help myself. When support finally respond to tickets, days later, the responses have been useless as they either haven't read the questions or can't answer them. On at least two occasions their answer was to try and upsell products or services that it was obvious we did not need. Also looks like there are two separate support ticket systems running at the moment! We found an excellent new provider, expected to spend the weekend moving our site, but in fact took just a few hours because everything at the new provider was straight forward and worked as expected.

TSO Host-Such Very Poor Support

They say they have Live Chat. On their site it doesnt appear even though its 9.30am.
They say they are on hand 24/7 yet they dont provide support until 9am and finished at 5pm. Without doubt this is one of the worst hosting companies you could use.
Servers been down all day. NO response from support, no email contact, no way to call them. Very shady company.

Migration which has left my site down & invisible on the Internet

They are supposed to be migrating my site to a new FM VPS after they closed down legacy accounts. Same as above customer, there was no similar plan and I had no option but to move to one at double the price. As Ive recently been diagnosed with a degen neuro disease and been in hospital for long periods, I really did not feel well enough to do anything myself and so I opted for premium support packager where they deal with the transfer.

I paid for the new server 14th May and I requested everything over the same as on the old. It should not have been hard for them to do, but its been a nightmare and highly stressful with tickets not being answered for days or what seem like delay questions that put back things again for days. For the past 2 weeks Ive been begging them to sort the DNS.
On Friday they remigrated the databases and since then the site has been offline in maintenance mode. I know there are several other things that will need fixing due to them not putting on the php version I asked for, but right now the main thing is actually making my domain visible on the Internet.

It really is dreadful when something as major as your domain and sub domains vanishing from the Internet while your so called premium support ticket sits waiting for days to be answered. I shouldnt have had to even raise the ticket if they/d changed DNS like I asked. They should know what to do.

Totally abysmal service from a company I'd been with for nearly 20 years and who used to be good before the GoDaddy take over.

lost all my data and borked website

TSOhost took over my original hosting company. I paid billings and TSOhost proceeded to delete all content and failed to keep a backup. My website of nearly several years is now lost.
desroyed my website, TSOhost took on my hweeeeeeewwww

Packages are only removed if payment has not been made or if you were on an end of life product. For any EOL products we notify customers well in advance of the closure of the platform. We ask customers to take backups of their data.
