I am a small business and rely on my emails working

I am a small business and rely on my emails and have sent urgent emails to clients on Friday as I’ve had an accident and I can’t take care of their pets next week! I now find out the migration to a new server has left me with no emails working. All of the emails I sent on Friday have not gone and they were time critical and this will affect my business and I may even lose customers as they do not know I’ve had an accident and in hospital. I have no cPanel and I can’t even get into anything on my account. Like everybody else I’ve been with them for years they do not have a helpdesk at the weekends there is no help until they open again on Monday!. The downtime said it was 30 minutes when the migration started but this has happened Friday morning and still not back up. They don’t seem to care and I agree with all the rest of the comments below. It’s just not good enough guys you need to sort this out. I don’t have anyone to help me. I work on my own and I’m seriously unwell too and now you’ve just added it to this problem.

As a long term customer I'm leaving ASAP

Now spending my friday night after a long week of work trying to work out why emails are not working for what feels like the millionth time. I've been with TSOhost for a really long time but every time they "upgrade" or migrate to another package, a new server setup etc (which seems to be an annual event) the email service stops working or the site goes down or something goes wrong and it's a massive pain to get it sorted again and me and my clients are often without email for a period of time. This is massively stressful and annoying. TSOhost are now pretty expensive and they don't offer free SSL so when you factor in the additional costs plus days of work sorting out migration issues it's not worth it. I am gradually moving my sites to other hosts.

At my wit's end

On Monday TsoHost migrated my email to a new server and broke my password access. I am a sole trader trading under a "trading as..." moniker, so TsoHost are wanting to see bank statements etc proving my "company" name & address before they restore access to the account. There is no company, only a trading name, so no bank statements and consequently no access to my email.
I sent them details of the most recent email I received which is still on the server, the invoice they sent me, when the account was opened in 2011. I don't know what else I can do and no-one at TsoHost has sufficient imagination to suggest an alternative means of proving who I am.
Nightmare.

DREADFUL customer service

DREADFUL customer service. No answer on phone although they do have phone number, cannot email them as they have no email address, NO chat option anywhere on their website (despite it saying there is!). Ticket opened over 24-hours ago has had NO REPLY! (despite website saying they always respond within 24-hours!). Contacting them as website hosted by them is showing as un secure. So this matter is urgent as customers are avoiding our site. I have sent 4 more messages today on the ticket thread! NOTHING!

How to loose Customers

I have been with Company for years.
They have slowly, but surely slipped down the pan.
latest straw, is the "migration".
Not sure which continent they have gone too, but after 5 days of inactivity, promised 35 minutes of down time, unable to access emails or websites. It's like they literally have abandoned their Customers.
No reply to Tickets raised, no reply to Chat Room requests.
If you value your Business do not use these people.

AVOID! Useless hosting company

I have been with tso hosting for 10 years but in the last couple of years its been rubbish, waiting for a week to get a "IT ticket response" and live chat which doesn't help.
No business emails or website for 3 days which is now costing me money, as bookings are made though the website.
I will now try Hostinger who are half the price and have 24hour help.

We asked for our site to be moved from…

We asked for our site to be moved from one of their servers to another of their own. They took the payment and we assumed everything would be sorted. The site went down, and when we asked why, they said that WE needed to open a ticket to ask for the transfer! So, we did... 2 weeks later, the site is still off-line, and everytime we ask if there's an update, they say "soon"... How long? "soon"... and they won't tell us if it's going to be a day, a week, a month or a year. What a disgrace - please choose a company with telephone support.

17th July update - Ticket is still open and no update - website is still down. Customer support are "still working on it" with no idea of when the issue will be solved.

Migration

I have been with this company for several years with no major problems however very recently this company decided to increase web hosting prices almost double and give it a new name (deluxe) with no option to stick to your existing plan .

Due to my busy work schedule I just allowed the migration to go ahead, worse mistake ever !
For the past five days I have not been able to access my emails through my phone as I have always previously done .
I have contacted the company three times by opening a ticket with absolutely zero response.
I have tried to access live chat that didn’t work either !

I called the company on the 24 th June 2024 to be informed by an automated telephone system that as from the 1st July there will no longer be an option to speak to an advisor and then I was promptly cut off .

worst service ever - zero stars

I have been with TSO host for many years and initially they were great. Over time customer service became less and less reliable to the point that when my website and email went down to no fault of my own, response time via the ticket system was days not hours and the live chat was tiresome, time-consuming and mostly useless as they always referred to another team that was looking into it but I had no access to. They never told me what went wrong - I assume the server simply died. Downtime is usually measured in minutes or hours, in my case it bacame weeks - no access to email, no website - no advice as to alternative email set-ups that could catch my incoming mail (like Proton). After over three weeks of spending hours on live chat, waiting days for responses, I was told the back up had finally been restored (not from the day before the crash, but another week before thus causing even more data loss) - but the website still didn't go live and no solution was forthcoming. Literally the only solution was to migrate completely away from TSO host and with my new provider everything was up and running within 24h. This has easily been the most stressful and frustrating customer service experience in my life and the worst service of any kind I have ever received. Even my written complaint letter took weeks to be responded to and the refund was meagre and the apology stale. I know other people have ok experiences - but a company truly reveals its colours when things really go wrong and you know if you are on your own or if they have your interest in mind. If I could give zero stars I would.

if you value your business - dont use this company

Following a migration of this companies email servers, I have been left without email for all my business users. I have contacted two members of support who gave me generic settings which dont work, and told me to wait several hours. They were rude, and very unhelpful. I have been with this company for many years, and I am shocked at how they treat long standing customers. This issue was caused by them, and nobody will take resposibility and fix it!

I have been on an online chat from 9am, till now 1300pm, and as a business - have been left without email still. Total waste of time - will be moving on!

Tsohost account down with no support

I've been with Tsohost for around 15 years, first as 5quidhost and then Tsohost. My business is small and I don't have many web/ email issues, but, when I've needed help in the past, I've raised a ticket and I've had a response within an hour and the technician has resolved the issue very quickly.

However, I've had an issue since this weekend (22/06) where my domain has inexplicably gone down, I raised a ticket on Monday, and chased multiple times over the course of today (Tuesday), but I'm yet to hear back from Tsohost. This is all without access to my emails with potential loss of business. To the best of my knowledge, there is no contact number to call them to discuss the issue and for some reason I don't have access to Live chat. I'm shocked by the low level of customer service.

An update on 29/06:
Thank you to the Tsohost employee for responding 3 days ago to my original post. Shockingly, Tsohost has still not picked up my ticket that I raised on 24/06. As indicated in my original post, I don't have access to Live chat, and raising another ticket is clearly pointless.

I will be moving my account from Tsohost. I can't run a business without access to my email.

I’ve been with tsohost for probably 20…

I’ve been with tsohost for probably 20 years. They were always good, on the end of a phone etc. now their service is time wasting and cumbersome. They also give less than 24 hour ‘final warnings’ of domain movement, with huge increase in cost, with little thought for the customer. I’m trying to get all my domains as sub domains under one hosting but even that is complex. In the past with there previous iteration of cPanel it was easy, now? No. They’ve just made everything worse and more expensive. It’s very puzzling.

Been using tsoHost since 2016.

Been using tsoHost since 2016.

Just been bitten by an auto renewal fee I did not ask for, yet they would not refund for me it.

Nearly 10 years of custom, and they wouldn't just refund an auto renewal charge? Can clearly tell they have been bought out.

Also, livechat used to be helpful and fast with response but it definitely did not feel like that this time.

Just go elsewhere for your hosting, check the recent reviews for tsohost.

We are sorry to hear you feel this way, please know that generally we do not offer refunds on domains as payment is made to the registry immediately, in most cases this is non refundable to us which results in us not being able to offer any refunds. We also give customers full control of their account to manage orders, renewals and cancellations. On domains customers can toggle auto renew being enabled or disabled. If disabled we will simply not raise an invoice to renew.

Taken a week so far to get a reply to my support ticket. Seems everyone is having the same issue. They are migrating the servers but surely they have plans in place to ensure they can still support customers?! Poor. Very quick to double the cost of my hosting though....

Due to C Panel upgrades my site is down…

Due to C Panel upgrades my site is down for more than 24hours and my tickets have not been replied to for over 24 hours. With no live chat on weekends it seems ridiculous to implement large C panal changes on a Friday evening before zero a weekend where no support can be given of any issues arise.

My business website is still currently down and I have no way of getting the support I need from them.

I’ve been a costumer for 9+ years and this is terrible service

Andrew was easily the best customer service rep I've ever spoken to. He went above and beyond to help me over the course of an hour, even staying 20 minutes after his shift to make sure everything was alright. He was friendly and informative, he made sure I knew everything that was going on which was massively appreciated. He's a credit to the entire team, 10/10

Communication is impossible - there's no phone number - no live chat available and no response to support tickets either after migrating our email server. Now we aren't receiving emails and no way of contacting anyone to find out why or when it will be resolved! VERY POOR SERVICE - avoid this company
