General Dissatisfaction
I've had a mixed experience with this company. They offered and delivered the cheapest price for the tyres that I was looking for. I chose option to have my tyres fitted. When I was shown a series of fitters with Lynx Auto Centre Ltd being one of them, I was able to see the cost of fitting an 18" tyre which was £13.00 per tyre. The estimated delivery time was within 4 days. On the 5th day I contacted Lynx Auto Centre Ltd who said that the tyres had arrived! I sought to confirm the fitting price and they said that it would cost £24.00 per tyre! I said that the quoted price on Tyre Leaders website under the Lynx Auto Centre Ltd name was £13.00 per tyre. I then went to Lynx Auto Centre Ltd and showed them the documentation from Tyre Leader. They said that they cannot do it for £13.00 and that I had the option of cancelling the order! The right thing in my view for them to have done is to do the tyre fitting as close to the quoted £13.00 as possible but they didn't do that which I was extremely unhappy about. The tyres were fitted. After driving for about 10 minutes, my tyre warning light came on. On checking the tyre pressures, I noticed that the tyre fitter had inflated my tyres to the PSI for a 225 tyre, I had 255 tyres. This further added to my dissatisfaction. I then checked my front tyre pressures which were also incorrect! Overall, I am dissatisfied with being charged more than was quoted, I am dissatisfied with apparently incorrect tyre fitting prices being quoted on the Tyre Leader website and I am dissatisfied with my rear tyres being inflated to the wrong PSI.

Regarding the fitting fee: our partner centres are expected to keep their service information (including fitting prices) up to date on their listing. When a centre applies a different price on site, it’s not acceptable from a customer experience point of view, and we will need to review what was shown on our website at the time of your booking and what the centre charged you.
Regarding the tyre pressures: we understand your concern. Correct inflation should follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended pressures, and we’ll also want to flag this with the fitting partner.
Could you please open a ticket with our service after-sales team via your customer account (or contact form/chat) and include:
- your order number
- the fitting centre name (Lynx Auto Centre Ltd)
- any screenshot/confirmation showing the £13/tyre fitting price
- the invoice/receipt showing the £24/tyre charged
- (if possible) the pressures that were set vs. your vehicle’s recommended pressures
Once received, our team will investigate with the partner centre and get back to you with the appropriate next steps.

Zero support
To me the company is fully AI automated and when I had an issue and this failed to help, that’s it, there is no other support. I wasted several hours by making the mistake of ordering from them and still do not know if the tyres I bought are suitable.

To get this sorted quickly, please open a ticket via your Tyreleader account (Contact / Help section) and include:
- your order number
- your vehicle (make/model/year)
- the tyre size shown on your current tyre sidewall (e.g., 205/55 R16) and/or the size listed on your vehicle label
- the tyre model you ordered and what you’re unsure about (size, load index, speed rating, seasonal type, etc.)
Once you share these details, our service team can verify suitability and advise you properly. If you already have a ticket number, reply here with it and we’ll ask for your case to be prioritised internally.
