Placing an order was easy, there was a great deal that made it cheaper than going through Amazon, that is something that I prefer. The delivery of the SSDs was very quick, considering that it was coming from America.
I can't comment on the durability of the drives yet, but I'm sure their reputation will hold up.

WHERE IS MY REFUND?

Returned an SSD as I didnt need. Didnt even open the packing or anything. Was told it would take 7-10 business days to process the refund. 12 days later and after contacting several times I keep getting brushed off: "wait 48 hours" and after those 48 hours Im told "wait another 48 hours". Unacceptable! I have valid tracking that shows they received it 2 days after I sent it.

I bought new CRUCIAL X9 4TB Portable for new Lenovo laptop with USB-C Gen 4 ports.
I was wondering it is not recognized
--> Acc. to crucial support it does not work with current ports - up to older USB 3.2 only
- There's no Firmware update for this product
This was mentioned after several senseless mails (to check firmware updates, installing software, etc.) proving an incompetent support:
- There is not even a firmware update possible on this product. As my Lenovo yoga 9 of 2024 only has new USB4 ports I can throw the SSD away - CRUCIAL has no solution, although it's current product starting 2nd half of 2023...
- CRUCIAL brings outdated products in market and not even informs before of incompatibilities. Afterwards now they refuse any change or firmware help.
- The Crucial Storage Manager Software is senseless as there is no update possible - "No firmware for this product"
I recommend buying a more future proof product which at least works today - for me it's electronics scrap-although new and expensive. Do I need to buy a product at Samsung now?

As expected, good quality item at a reasonable price. I buy from crucial because for the last 20 years I have absolutely no problems at all with the hardware I have purchased from, and some from day one are still fully functioning today.

The file to identify what parts are suitable for your PC doesn't work. Ended up ordering the wrong part

Good communication and speedy delivery. Product was well packaged so I trust that any valuables I get from Crucial will arrive in perfect condition.
I even had to return an item due to a mix up on my part, and there were no problems, it was very easy. Will definitely use Crucial again in the future.

It says UK site but the RAM actually came from EU. I love the EU but the 7-day delay could've been explained then anticipated on ordering ....

Arrived quickly and works. The 2TB is a bit bigger than the other 2TB I have and the 4TB is smaller than the other 4TB I have. The 2TB and 4TB are roughly the same size. Both are small and easy to put in pockets.
