My experience with RedMagic has been incredibly frustrating. Responses were painfully slow, often taking days, and when I did hear back, the replies felt copy pasted and completely unhelpful. It seemed like no one actually read my messages. I had to repeat the same details multiple times, only to receive generic troubleshooting steps that didn’t address the issue.
For a company positioning itself as a premium gaming brand, the support experience was anything but premium. Poor communication, minimal empathy, and no real problem-solving.

Sadly, this experience has made me reconsider purchasing from RedMagic again.

If a €999 smartphone already develops a faulty touchscreen less than three months after purchase — after the first drop, despite using a Nubia case and screen protector — I would have expected a far more customer-friendly response from the manufacturer. The repair is carried out in the Czech Republic, phone support runs through Hong Kong, and all communication takes place exclusively in English. I received roughly one reply per day, which was very inconvenient for me.

In my experience, part of the support seems to rely on automated responses, and my review on judge.me — the platform Nubia themselves link to for product reviews — has not been published so far. Overall, I had the impression that customer service mainly works with standardized text modules and responds very little to my specific issue.

Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the service.
Even after multiple requests and pointing out the legal basis, the shop still refuses to issue an invoice compliant with European law, including VAT and a tax number.

NOVA GAMING TABLET

NOVA GAMING TABLET - Terrible experiance returning product. First of all I should say the tablet is ok, I play the following mobile/tablet games. Clash of clans, Efootball and Fortnite. The screen / display sensitivity is way off compared to an ipad or samsung S tablet that is the reason I sent it back. From the 3 games mentioned earlier fornite with a controller played the smoothest, I did not try the game using the screen controls as mentioned earlier it was not good enough for efootball. So i decided to return the product to REDMAGIC UK where I bought it from. This is where the process became a complete burden. I was first of all asked to show proof of purchase with my invoice/tracking number which was bought through REDMAGICS own webpage. Was then asked to fill out a 'repair' form even though I just wanted to return for refund. The repair form is required by DHL for pick up and return to REDMAGIC. Only the return does not go to redmagic, in fact on the dropdown box of vendors in which you bought the tablet from, REDMAGIC is not even listed! So then a 3rd party independent company which repair tablets start messaging asking for further forms to be printed and attached to the package before it is picked up.

I was given 2 delivery dates in which DHL would come and pick up the returning tablet. Both days they never showed up, 2 days off work for nothing! On the 3rd day DHL took the tablet away and all my side of the tedious process was done.....well, so i thought.

I then started getting more messages from the repair company which is actually in czech republic?! Regarding the tablets repair. Yet again I had to contact REDMAGIC support to contact this 3rd party repair vendor stating that I just want a return for refund. In total I have a huge email correspondence between REDMAGIC, repair company in czech republic and phone calls / chasing to DHL.

I have now eventually been refunded on the tablet but REDMAGIC have taken £30 off for DHL the courirer who messed me about for 2 days with no show. I complained about this but was told nothing would be done, thats how it is...basically.

All in all, tablet is ok wouldnt recommend it over an Ipad pro its miles off. The REDMAGIC support team are quick to reply when contacted which is great but show poor quality support when it comes to return process and customer. All in all, this was a dreadful experiance of a product I was looking forward to so much. Wont be recommending to any of my gaming community friends.

Keep away!

I bought 2 phones from Redmagic and one has issues with the glass screen not being completely flat and having bubbles in the same spots with every glass screen protector installed, and even at phone service the guy there had the same issue!
Redmagic customer service doesn't want to check the phone and said I am not professional enough to install a glass protector correctly although I installed more than 100 glass screen protectors until now and even the guy from the local phone service couldn't fix this unless he uses some liquid to fill the gaps!
Keep away from their products unless you want to buy another phone after a while because they do not have an actual warranty!

Worse customer service ever!
Bought a Shadow Blade 2 gamepad from them, which sucks btw (can’t charge your phone through the USB-C port which it has). So I contacted them to return the item, but they kept making excuses and repeating same things; after 2 weeks I submitted a return request on Klarna and they hold the funds, that was when this Red Magic team finally decided to respond, they then asked for photos of the product…
However it’s been over two weeks now and I still haven’t been able to return this item.

Smooth like Butter

I was hyped with the launch of the Redmagic 9 Pro was looking to buy one. The official site, was a LOT cheaper than what Amazon had to offer. But when I saw the reviews here I became super skeptical. £800 (phone+controller) is no cheap amount to splash here and there. Nonetheless to took the plunge and received it within a week! The customer service was impeccable and had constantly kept me updated throughout.

However, if you're able to, please download an app named "Shop", it tracks any & all online shopping done via your phone and has an extensive tracking system for all your products + they provide a map of exactly where your product is around the globe. I'd always check back to it if I ever felt unsettled.

Additionally, I wanted to see how prompt the customer support was for returning items were. Since reviews here say they're garbage. (Note, I kept the device, but this was more like research since I had a great service throughout). The support team was in fact very prompt, with emails being sent multiple times throughout the day. The only smidge that felt weird was the form that was needed to return the products made no sense to me, but since how quick they were to respond, I'm sure that would be easily rectified.

Hope this review helps future buyers!

Avoid buying Nubia/Red Magic products

You may have read all the negative reviews about Nubia supports or services, and yes it sucks. I encountered software issues and was told to send my phone for repair in HK, and I have to bear the shipment and repair costs. This easily would cost a few hundred just to fix a non-hardware issue. I don't get it why can't the assist to solve it online? Anyway, bye Nubia forever, and for those overseas potential buyers, do re-consider carefully as your next Nubia phone might just be another white ele-phone in your drawer.

WAITING OVER A MONTH AND STILL CLUELESS

I sent my phone 6s pro last month to Hong Kong for repairs as it had charging issue and was under warranty so I asked the redmagic team about the repairs and they advised me that my phone was under warranty and I can ship it for repairs which will take 3 to 5 days

The repair center despite of numerous amounts of emails and calls all I get back is "will get back to u soon"

the redmagic support system is a joke they don't even have any idea about my device status as I recently came to know they are the one's who's replying to all my emails when they don't even have any idea about whats happening with my phone.as they operate from India and repairs centre is located in Hong Kong .iam currently experiencing this and

I hope someone from higher authority of redmagic is reading this my phone is still in Hong Kong more then a month and not a sign of when I will get it back .

Being a fan of redmagic watching videos of the phone and I had finally bought it for myself only to experience this hell of ignorance

I seriously have no idea at this point if iam going to get my phone back or no

Its 12th of November almost completed 2mnths

No delivery and nearly no response on emails

Ordered three phones at once and I had nothing received. I got an auto-mail because my order, which was created more than two weeks ago, is now completed... Later I got an email that there was an error with the shipping and they will resend the three phones... But again, the tracking status didn't change - There was no shipment at all.

Over more than two weeks I sent them five emails, also regarding a EU tax conform invoice. They answered only on the very first email..., which mean there was also no response regarding the shipping status (or the missing shipping).

Now I'm opening a conflict ticket on PayPal.

Had my red magic 5s pulse for a mass 28 days and I paid 756GBP and now it won't even turn on save your money avoid this place like you would covid 19 it's that bad I'm not vikki I'm her husband I have my own account and I bought this pointless phone!

Delaying customer support to avoid returns

Similar to a previous comment. I attempted to get support for the phone not working with Android auto. They never responded.

I asked for a return within 5 days of receiving it as there was no tech support response and I needed a working product.

They responded 1 month later stating that it was past the 15 day period for returns.

Extremely shady business practice. This was for a 5g for anyone else who has this issue.

Red magic 5g UK order

I was a bit sceptical about ordering based off the review I have seen on this site. I decided to go through with my order of the redmagic 5g. I ordered it on a Friday evening. It was sent out for shipping on the Monday. I had the phone by Wednesday. Extremely happy with the delivery of the phone. The phone itself is amazing so far, and can not complain. The screen is amazing, the camera is amazing. The phone itself is all-round fantastic. Love the customisable LEDs on the back of the phone, and the fan is just a game changer for me. Ordered with case which is good quality, and sturdy. Overall so far I am extremely happy, and would highly recommend ordering from Redmagic.gg only issue I have found with software is that when installing all's it does not put a shortcut onto the screen until you have restarted the phone, but that's not a big deal for me. Everything else software related as worked fine.

£600, emails and tweets but nothing.

I purchased a "blueprint" preorder voucher from Nubia/Red Magic and it was delayed by a few days. I had to chase the item up via the support email.

Once I received the voucher, I used it on launch day for the Red Magic 5g. I paid for priority shipping on the 21st April. I've dropped the support team a message via email and Twitter but had zero response.

I've paid approx £600 in total for the phone and I've had little response from the company and no update on my phone. I have a receipt and money has been taken out of my account but I've yet to receive a tracking number.

Should have known it was too good to be true, I've seen similar concerns on Twitter and Instagram about missing devices. Other comments include concerns about the lack of finesse of the OS and the lack of updates/time given to the Red Magic 3.
