total rubbish do not use under any circumstances

after my previous post I have not used my card, they now have introduced new terms and conditions which include closure and inactivity charges which I can avoid by closing my card before April. However they want me to send them a copy of my bank statement in order to transfer any balance. Quite frankly I would prefer to lose the balance than give these cowboys anymore details. I will be taking this up with the FCA, they should not be allowed to exist I this world!

Withdrawal

I won on a gaming site and had to withdraw via ukash and as the company have been taken over I'm not able to collect winnings I now have to use them on line I'm not happy as I won the money so there for I should be able to collect my money

Frustrated

While i understand UKash is going through a transition phase (being taken over by a different company) I am left frustrated at the lack of information on the website. Each time i try to Top Up my card i get redirected to the Log In again. No mention on site what is happening .
Also i dont like the new log in features, Card number and Pin?? Seriously?? am just about to withdraw my remaining cash and will look for a new more reliable Prepaid Card Company.
I have used the card since Spring this year and was very happy until the news broke about the Takeover. Pity.

AVOID UKASH - STAY AWAY - FAR FAR AWAY

Too bad there is no zero star option.

UKAH is used mainly by fraudsters and scammers. And more and more people are being scammed to pay using UKASH. If someone scams you to giving them a code, which is happening a lot, you will lose the money, as if you lose the cash and there is no support from the company.
They want to keep the user's info anonymous. But the users are mainly those scam people to get the UKASH.
Last year I as scammed by a bunch of people, and unfortunately ended up paying with UKASH. 'Till then I even hadn't heard of this ugly company. I still have the vouchers, along with emails to the company, a local police report, an RCMP report,... You name it.
Even police would not release to me the name and information of those who stole from me, due to stupid privacy rules of this company.
JUST BE WARNED. The scammers know about the fault in the UKASH's business model, and their are scamming people back and forth to get their free money, and there is not a damn thing that UKASH does to in fact protect people who purchased their stupid product. They, however, protect the scammers who steal from people. RCMP, and the police told me that those who use UKASH to scheme people, use that money mainly for funding their terrorist activities. There are also others who use the stolen money for online gambling, and some shopping spree.
Do the world a favor and Don't keep these people in business.
BTW, their customer service also sucks big time.

Fabulous Card- Prepaid Money card

I have no idea what some of these comments are about but i have just used this card during june 2015 in denmark, norway and sweden and it was accepted everywhere with no problems,museums.restaurants, small gift shops, mcdonalds even in a manned lift coming down from the Karnan Tower.You can withdraw euro's and check your balance at any ATM. If they take mastercard they will take this card.I would recommend this to anyone.A very happy customer

Works for me

I got a ukash prepaid mastercard through money saving expert. I thought it extremely easy to top up and have used it at ATM's in Europe twice this year. Love the fact you can text for a balance too. 1 satisfied customer!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We selected this method of paying for petrol as we were traveling through France. Also we could potentially get cash abroad at a reduced charge. We discovered UKASH after it was highly recommended on a popular money website, But we hit problems soon after we arrived in France . Each time we came to put money on the card on their online website there were complications. We found we could never access their Reload page, then it would state that we were creating an illegal transaction! !. Bear this in mind if you are planning to drive in France because if you have less than 200euros on any card you are prevented from fill up with petrol at any Pay at Pump Stations. This happened to us
We did, however , manage to use the card to pay for products in shops but it would not allow us to with draw cash at a cash machine . So proved to be totally useless and we wasted a lot of valuable time online

dissapointing

after using ukash vouchers many times without problems. I have finally had the dreaded code not accepted on the website I was using. I have been in touch and sent all that they asked for. now in limbo. waiting for a response and no money. fuming to say the least. I will not be using again.

Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid using this service at all costs.

First of all, the ukash sign up form would not accept my mobile number, I eventually had to use a friends. Fantastic.

After finally getting past the sign up page, ukash did not send the activation link to my email. I waited 4 hours. Unbelievably, there is no option to re-send the activation link.

So I had to sign up with a brand new email address, experiencing more problems along the way. Finally, I was able to log in to my new ukash account.

I then tried to navigate to the section of the website where I can combine my vouchers. I could not find it, and the "search" feature of the website is hilariously useless.

If the feature to manage your ukash has been removed for whatever reason, fine - but having no information available for people looking for that feature is an absolutely atrocious and unacceptable level of customer service.

Whoever is in charge of the functionality of your website should have their employment terminated immediately. I've used bad websites before, but I've never seen such a large company put their website in such incompetent hands.

It's so bad that it mite even be funny if it weren't for the fact that you're handling peoples money.

Avoid ukash, there are FAR better options out there.

SUCH A SHAME HORRIBLE SERVICE

BOUGHT A FEW VOUCHERS YESTERDAY AS PER ADVISE FROM A FRIEND TO US IT ONLINE AND UNFORTUNATELY AND POOR AS THEIR SERVICE IS FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENT JUST USING THE VOUCHERS ON THE WEBSITE COULD NOT GO DID CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IMMEDIATELY TO FIND OUT AND THEY ASKED ME FEW QUESTIONS TO CONFIRM MY IDENTITY AND OWNERSHIP WHICH I DID PROVIDE AND THEY ISSUED ME A CASE NUM(00219193) AND PROMISED TO GET ALL SORTED OUT AS WERE TO SEND ME AN EMAIL TO REPLY WHICH I DID CORRECTLY DID SENDING WITH ALL MY DETAILS,VOUCHER PICS,PASSPORT,AND PROVE AND ADDRESS AND NOW I GET THIS HORRIBLE REPLY SAYING I NEED TO WAIT 28DAYS FOR A REFUND THIS IS CRAZY AS BOUGHT THIS VOUCHER TO USE FOR MY PERSONAL REASONS AFTER PROMISING TO ME I WILL GET ALL SORTED WITHIN 24HRS YESTERDAY THIS IS HORRIBLE ALSO I ASKED TO GET THE VOUCHERS BACK TO THE PAYPOINT AND GET THE REFUNDS FROM THERE AND THEY SAY ITS NOT POSSIBLE PLEASE I NEED THIS FIXED I NEED MY MONEY BACK !!!!!!!!

If you want to punish yourself in some way and like pulling out your hair get a ukash voucher this will do the trick would not even give it a star

Wouldn't even give a one star

They rang my grandmother stating she had £3000 in the bank and she needed to urgently go to the post office to send transaction funds for the process to go ahead. Two hours later a man will come to sign documents and give her the cheque. Having been conned before my grandmother was a bit sceptic and wanted evidence. This led to the call centre man calling her a stupid old woman and harassing her for 6 more phone calls. Luckily my aunty came along and rang back threatening to phone the police, no reply just hung up. A very shaken grandmother and very annoyed family members. Never even heard of this business but from the nature of the staff DO NOT USE

better to do charity than buying UKcash voucher

I bought ukcash voucher on 8/05/2015. I couldn't use that, so I called in customer services they asked me where why when and lot of question I gave him all the answer. than they told me wait for our mail, I have waited for that but I didnt get any reply than I called tham for my vouchers they told me you need to send your ID, Bank St. and Ukcash voucher. I sent it to tham on same time, than they told me to wait for mail. I didnt get any mail for 2 days than I called them, they told me we blocked that pls send me all the document and refund form by post, they sent me refund form by mail. they told me once we received all your document then it will take 28 working day for your refund. I dont know what they will tell me after 28 days.
luckily I keep my voucher with me in general people buy the voucher take pic and throw it.......

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I loaded a card for a trip to Ireland, and never got to use the card. It was denied first time. Got to a computer and the website kept on crashing. The emergency phone numbers were out of order/not working. Luckily I had another credit card and some cash.
I have just been on the phone to some pretty useless guy who didn't seem to know anything at all.
I am now waiting for a form to arrive via email which i fill in and send to them with the redundant card. Fee of 12 euros to cancel card!!!!!! He had no idea when the money would arrive in my account, and could give me no more info.
Please do not use this company - they cause more problems than answers.

We can confirm that your card is valid and the first transaction was denied due the value being higher than the balance. We can process your refund in less than 10 working days and you don’t need to pay the cancellation fee if you leave your card open. Further information will be provided to your email address.

I BOUGHT £150 WORTH OF VOUCHERS WHITCH LOOK LIKE SUPERMARKET RECEIPTS AND MISTAKENLY THROUGH THEM AWAY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE THE VOUCHER CODE THEY CANT CHECK SO THEY KEEP THE MONEY , THEY SAY IT'S LIKE CASH YOU LOOSE , THEIR IS NO INSURANCE BEST TO USE PAYPAL , FROM WHAT I HAVE LEARNT IS THAT YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE RIPPED OFF BY SOMEONE WHOEVER YOU GIVE THE CODE TO THEY CANT TRACE IT . ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY MUST GET A GOOD BONUS , THE LADY WOULD NOT TELL ME WHO OWNS THIS UKASH TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Useless

I bought 144 pounds of vouchers to top up my new card, when i tried to load the card it responded
Your transaction was identified as unusual and was denied. Please contact Ukash Customer Services.
20 emails and 12 phone calls later they say it is fixed for the 4th time, each time it fails
It still doesnt work so I have money they refuse to let me use, they simply say ok its fixed then it starts all over again, I have no response but to take them to court now
