Overall a wonderful relaxed experience. Procedure was done in a professional and tension free environment. Great TLC throughout. Thorough explanation was given on the procedure and after care treatment.

From the moment I was signed in at the Reception I was made to feel at ease. I was treated extremely well by everyone, and found my experience very reassuring and professional, which has helped me not to be nervous about my follow up treatments.

My first session of foam scelotherapy was performed without use of ultrasound guidance (I don’t know why as I had been told it would be used in my consultation). The procedure was not done by the consultant I had booked in with although she was there overlooking the session. It led me to believe that this was some kind of training session and I didn’t feel confident having someone I didn’t know doing this procedure.I didn’t feel well following this session.
I was reassured afterwards by the bookings department that the person who performed my procedure was qualified.
My second session was a different experience and the consultant was highly professional and took his time trying to make my legs look better. Unfortunately the first session did not get rid of the veins although they are smaller and the consultant struggled to treat them due to the new size.
I still have plenty of visible veins although they are smaller, this is not the outcome I expected.
I have waited nearly 2 weeks for a reply to an email regarding a review session. Hopefully this can be amended.

I am so very happy with how my veins look now.
I have experienced no pain at all.
Went back to see Dr Hughes and his lovely nurse
today. UK Vein Clinic are a very professional clinic
and I felt completely in safe hands with them.

The service I received was fine but I'm afraid the results of the procedure were disappointing. Almost one year on and my legs don't look any better...

Professional friendly

I have been attending the UK Vein clinic since last year to treat my varicose veins with foam scleratherapy initially. Followed by regular scleratherapy sessions to tackle the thread veins that had formed all around them. My experience at this clinic has been wonderful. The procedure is surprisingly bearable, it does not hurt as much as I had imagined it would. I have actually returned to work on the same day after some of my morning appointments and found the whole thing extremely convenient in that regard. I have been very pleased with my results so far and I am so thankful to have found a solution to tackle their rather unattractive appearance. I have been covering up my legs for the majority of my life due to my veins (unfortunately an hereditary condition) and it has really affected my self esteem. Having had such a good result from the treatments I am more confident about their appearance especially on holiday. Its so nice to not feel embarrassed about the way they look any more. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone considering a treatment themselves. The care and attention I have been offered has been very good indeed. My only regret has been that I wish I had done this years ago. I could have enjoyed my holidays more without an awful feeling of embarrassment when wearing a bathing suit.
