Rude Customer service! High fees and holds on direct deposit take forever. Stick to the big banks!

The on line directions ( prompts) to connect to the branch near me via phone kept sending me to the original greeting. So after a few times of round and round. Then I was able to connect to an on line voice who answered my loan questions.
We made an appointment at a branch near me. The conversation was very good as the gentleman (St. Joe) was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about the process.
The branch was nice and Hannah handled everything well.

Biggest group of liars I’ve ever heard of. I was hospitalized for months and I am widowed with nobody. The day I got out of the hospital I caught up two payments and told them I would catch up the final payment the following day, well my check was apparently lost and they had to reissue and I called to let them know I would pay asap. In the meantime I got beheld another payment so I was down two. $1200 total and I had $50k equity, I was in contact and was told pay us when you can and I said even if the lost check doesn’t show I can pant you by the end of next week, they said fine, next they repossessed my boat! Lied straight to my face and I said I get paid next week I will catch up my loan on Friday, okay fine. The check showed up Wednesday night and Thursday morning I called the impound lot to pickup my boat and they said “ they came and got it about an hour ago” I was supposed to have until tomorrow afternoon to pay but I have it now, sorry it’s gone. Gone with all my gear and I was never notified once of any repossession. I called and Karen in collections said I got your gear and your boat and blocked my number. They lie and lie. They want the almost paid off immaculate boat and $30k in gear. Do not use them for any reason. If they treat a disabled widow like this think how they will treat you. They are supposed to notify by certified mail! I can’t find a lawyer nor anyone. (573)836-3301 if you know an attorney. Do not use for any reason!

They lie right to your face. A year into paying for a lemon, which included couple thousand to the mechanic and full coverage for a vehicle that never seen the road. I pulled another car loan and did a voluntary repossession, which I also paid the tow bill for that. Figuring the bank auctions the car and I settle the rest. Thats a win in my book... Except United true colors came out. Somehow in that whole scenario they lost money ( reread it trust me they didnt) and they freeze my accounts .. Ive got direct deposit, Its 3 weeks before i can get a check through another account I setup .. Who cares if my family eats or has water or lights... United isnt about profit my foot... Oh month before I got a letter saying my house is up for auction for back taxes hmmm thats funny United set my escrow up... They forgot something and there was a computer glitch blah blah blah Life happens but United better get paid first
