Called in and spoke with Michael to apply for a loan. Application was super smooth and didn’t hurt my credit to check. I’ve used this company before so knew funding would come quick so had to leave another review to praise UpLend.

I worked with April who made this sound so smooth and easy! Told me it would take 4-6 months for all debt to be resolved! Month 7 and very little has been done except ruin my credit! I’m starting to think I have been scammed! Wish I never started this process!!

First off, like the title says, it is a real company based out of Southern California. But, and it's a big but, they're more or less a broker. They don't actually do the financial servicing. They process your qualifications and set you up with another company in my case Clarity. I worked with Patrick and Connor. Both were knowledgeable and very kind. However, my experience with Clarity was truly awful. I don't know if I can legally explain how awful it was as I don't trust them to not try to sue me even though it would not be slander as it was a true experience. But, at this point it was out of Uplend's hands. When I did run into problems with Clarity, I did reach out to both Patrick and Connor. They both did try to help and at the very least get clear information as to what was going on. Unfortunately after Clarity took over, neither Patrick or Connor could access my records and therefore not explain to me what was going on or rectified the situation. So to be clear, the probem was not with Uplend. I do highly caution anyone signing up for this service. It does not work quite like it's explained, or at least in my case it didn't. It's also extremely expensive. For example, and this is close to 1 of my experiences, I had a $7000 debt that Clarity bargained down to ruffly a little over $3000, but collected a little over $6000. In this case I could have paid the creditor almost the whole amount and had a better credit score. I went from about a 730 credit score to 400. My situation is not cleared by any means. But this is not due to the broker Uplend. It's more due to the 3rd party and how they do business.

Working with Patrick has been such a blessing. He was kind, understanding and supportive. The process was super fast, very well explained and has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I'm looking forward to our working relationship while I'm on the program. This has been an awesome experience.

Working with Eric was way easier than the other lenders I called, he was great from start to finish. Highly recommend.
