I would not recommend using Uplisting - stay away
I would not recommend using Uplisting.
At present, I only manage one property, but I am due to take on two more shortly, with plans to continue growing my property management business significantly.
What concerns me most is that if I were already managing multiple properties, the issues I have experienced would have created a huge amount of unnecessary work and stress. The whole purpose of paying for property management software is to simplify operations, not create additional problems.
It is incredibly disappointing that a platform charging a premium price can be so unreliable. Even with just one property, I have spent far more time dealing with issues than I ever should have. I have completely lost confidence that this software can support a growing business, and I cannot risk expanding my portfolio while relying on a system that consistently creates avoidable complications.
For the amount of money I am paying, I expected a professional, dependable service. Instead, I have been left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether the software is fit for purpose. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Uplisting to anyone serious about growing their property management business.
I would also add that the customer service has been incredibly slow and, unfortunately, completely unhelpful. When you're paying for software that is supposed to support your business, you expect prompt, knowledgeable assistance when problems arise. Instead, I was left waiting for responses that did little to resolve the issues.
Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding Uplisting. There are far better alternatives available, such as Hostaway or Guesty, which are much better suited to businesses that value reliability and responsive support.
In my experience, Uplisting simply is not worth investing your money in. The software has caused unnecessary frustration, the support has been extremely disappointing, and I have no confidence in recommending it to anyone looking to grow a professional property management business.
The concept is strong, but execution and support need improving
This is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a review, which says a lot.
In principle, the platform is a good idea and works well when everything is running smoothly. However, when issues arise, the experience has been very frustrating.
Firstly, we encountered a major issue with the cleaners’ app, which suddenly showed no scheduled cleans. This had a direct operational impact. Customer support is entirely online, with no option to speak to someone, and it took around three weeks to resolve after repeated back-and-forth. There was no clear acknowledgement, apology or accountability for what appeared to be a system error.
Secondly, when onboarding a new property, the system incorrectly linked our three-bedroom house to another listing entirely. Booking.com advised this was an Uplisting-side issue. Despite this, it took nearly two months of ongoing communication with Uplisting, and the issue was still not properly resolved through them. Again, no one called to take ownership—responses felt automated and we were repeatedly taken round in circles.
I understand that systems can go wrong, but the lack of accountability, slow response times and absence of proactive communication have been disappointing.
It’s an expensive platform that works well when it works—but when it doesn’t, the customer service experience falls well short.

Misleading Platform, Broken Sync, and No Accountability
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared.
I signed up for Uplisting expecting a reliable all-in-one channel manager for my Airbnb and VRBO listings. What I got instead was a misleading platform with broken core functionality and zero accountability.
1. Misleading features and hidden costs
Uplisting markets features like smart lock integration, automation, and pricing tools as part of the platform. In reality, many of these require additional payments or are not included at all. You only find this out after paying and setting everything up.
2. Core functionality does not work
The most basic function of a channel manager is syncing listings across platforms. I have 3 listings, and Uplisting cannot properly sync them between Airbnb and VRBO. Only one works correctly, while the others conflict or fail entirely.
I provided detailed explanations and video proof to support. After more than a week of back and forth, their response was that they do not have a solution.
3. Features locked behind higher plans
They advertise dashboard access, but when you try to use it, you are told it is only available on a higher tier plan. I reported this multiple times and was repeatedly told it would be fixed. It never was, and now they are ignoring my requests.
4. No refund despite clear issues
After spending days setting up the platform and over $900, I requested a refund due to the issues above. They refused, stating there was no basis for it.
Final thoughts
This platform is not ready for serious short term rental management. It is misleading in how features are presented, unreliable in execution, and unhelpful when issues arise.
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want something dependable.

Not worth the stress!
The cheaper option that you will come to regret!
After years of managing short lettings and over a year with uplisting, I can assure you like me, you will regret going for the cheap option.
There are so many bugs and sync issues that I cannot cope with it anymore, and I only have 1 busy listing on this platform!
It is so hard to setup and the customer service is so very incompetent that anything you want to setup and anything you need fixing becomes a few hours of deep painful stress.
The reason they are still around is that they promise the world and paint this picture of such an oiled machine, and once you are in, it is so hard to move to another platform with the current workload of managing bookings and migrating a ton of settings over.
Do not make the same mistake, avoid this at all costs, or pay with grey hair a few months down the line!

its just not very good
its just not very good. the app is rubbish. the financial reporting is inaccurate and cant differentiate between an actual booking and a cancelled booking. I would love to swap if i could be sure what i was swapping to is any better.

Avoid. Many other channel manager on the market. Uplisting used to be good but it's gone way downhill since the acquistion by AirDNA. No new features, old features breaking and customer service is non-existent. Avoid

Excellent Customer Service from Sion Breslin
