Great work on a pocket door
The Upper Street Contractors team finished off work on a pocket door which a large and well known contracting firm (which I shall not mention) failed to complete. The work was a bit tricky and the result is outstanding. They replaced a wall panel and decorated the area in record time and it looks fantastic. The team were efficient and very tidy. I am a huge fan and will definitely use them again

Relaid old outside tiles
The outdoor tiles were loose and generally not safe. The Upper Street Contractors took them all off and relaid them in their original pattern. They also built up part of the wall on both sides of the door to give additional support. The work is good and I am confident the tiles are secure.
They also fixed a Ring doorbell. Thank you. It was a little delayed due to a mis communication but I am very happy with the result.

Old outside tiles relaid
Old outside tiles were taken off and relaid to ensure they were secure. Tricky as some tiles were a bit delicate. Five stars for the work carried out, They also fixed me a Ring doorbell. My only complaint is that due to a change of date and some mis-communication this was delayed (and it would have been very handy if it had been done in time for Halloween!)

Kitchen refurbishment
Upper Street Contractors completely revamped our bathroom earlier this summer. We were very impressed by their work, so we have now had them back to strip out the kitchen and install new units, plumbing, wiring and floor. The work was well programmed and there were no unnecessary delays. We are very pleased indeed with the end result.

Upper Street Contractors are great
The wonderful Upper St Contractors do it again. This time the project was a small area of decking with a step down. We had some problems with the weather not cooperating but they kept me up to date with all the changes in plan and fitted the job in really quickly. The two operatives were (as ever) skilled and courteous and left the place very clean. I hadn't met these particular operatives before, and though English wasn't their first language, they were excellent communicators. They made design decisions very very carefully, discussing them with me at length and explaining options very clearly.

I have used this company before. They always explain what they are doing, answer queries, are polite, efficient and clean up well after themselves. The work was done to a high standard. On this occasion they came up with two alternative options to fix the causes of a serious leak, explained the pros and cons of both, and were helpful and transparent without putting pressure on us.

BATHROOM UNDER FLOOR, BATH PANELS AND PLUMBING
We were having a new luxury vinyl floor laid and an issue was identified with the underfloor. Upper street Handyman was recommended to us. I had several discussions with them around the logistics of the job as I had to come up to London in order to oversee the work etc. They were impressive from the start, always available on the telephone or in person, always willing to answer questions and always able to be flexible to meet my timescale and availability. In addition to fixing the joists and laying a new underfloor they made new panels for the bath and fitted them. I dealt with Noor, Abin, Ali and Micheal and without doubt they were some of the best trades people I have had in the flat over the past 5 years. They arrived on time well prepared and ready to get on with the work, they always tidied up after themselves and were polite and professional at all times. They were knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble, I found them to be a solutions based team who always went the extra mile to ensure everything was as it should be. We are delighted with the finished job and I would not hesitate to use them again. It is good to know I can contact a team who can work so effectively with any future issues we may have. Efficient, excellent service
Plumber Noor was pleasant, professional and efficient when he replaced our leaking, vibrating kitchen tap. He explained what had gone wrong and how the replacement tap had fixed the problem. He was respectful of our home, taking his shoes off when he arrived. Excellent service.
