I paid $27.00 to leave negative feedback for this loser company. They are apparently unable to meet the 48-hour timeframe for providing the appraisal. The contact button on the site does not function! Worse customer experience in 73 years!!!!!!!!!

Ging zwar schnell, hat mich allerdings auch nicht wirklich weitergebracht. Solltet ihr nach etwas Speziellem suchen, werden die sogenannten 'Experten' euch wahrscheinlich nicht weiterhelfen können…Ich könnte mir sogar vorstellen, dass mit KI gearbeitet wird. Für den Preis (27€) absolute Abzocke!

It went fast, but didn't really get me anywhere. If you're looking for something specific, the so-called 'experts' probably won't be able to help you... I even imagine they're working with AI. For the price (27€), it's absolute robbery!

I have an African knife, made from copper.
They estimate to be something else,with a value of 80-300 € , after that i send some emails to the best specialists in african tribal weapons, and is estimated to 2500 - 4000 €.

Total scam. The main thing you need appraisals for are insurance reasons but these don't work for insurance. I wasted $70 for three appraisals (two watches and a ring) and so I could get them insured. I sent them to a half dozen companies and all of them basically said they were worthless and wouldn't accept them. When I asked the company for a refund they pulled up some BS fine print that says they can't guarantee they will be good for insurance. So why does the company exist? To scam people out of their money and provide nothing in return. They should be shut down.

Had two valuations, both times on the low side with little to no information given. Not great to be honest

They are real, gave me a reply after 3 days. Good info.

After a recent unpleasant appraisal experience with VMS, I decided to read the fine print of their terms and conditions (on my past appraisals) only to find that their valuations are copyrighted by VMS and cannot be disclosed to any third parties without their written consent, and that the may not be used for a insurance purposes... Wow... Really...??? I bet if people were aware of that they'd stop using VMS and switch to other online appraisal services...

Be aware! These people have been writing appraisals for fake Hindu-Buddhist bronzes from Indonesia. The descriptions are accurate enough but the pieces are blatant forgeries with artificially created patinas sold in Indonesia. If they were authentic with provenance they would fetch 10 to 20 times more in the market.

Quick and easy with a detailed valuation.

I sent an old oil on canvas painting to a valuation. They came back and told me that my 18" x 13" painting was worth between $100-$200. I can't get a smaller photo printed for $100. There was no explanation of the value other than they couldn't figure out who that author was and that it was mostly decorative. Huge diss. $100 doesn't buy much these days except for an original oil on canvas from the early 20th century. What a joke. At least I didn't pay much for this valuation, that is why I gave them 2 stars.

The comments given by the evaluator were great. A nice description of my item. Asking about provenance to increase the value was helpful.

I wanted an idea of what some of my cool vintage items are worth and searched for an online appraisal service that was well-rated. Value My Stuff checked all of the boxes. I bought a five-credit package and already used three on a bed, print, and earrings. The appraisals are thorough; if more photos are needed, you are contacted. And it's great to have a certificate PDF issued as well. This gives me a good idea of what my items are worth when I decide to sell them, especially at auction.

Took too long to do a report and refused to give me a refund. Report was inaccurate. Avoid

This is great for people who don't know what they have. It helps to have a name or style or period. Though it would be better to say that people in 2024... instead of people currently are not interested in buying ... so prices are lower.
