Ordered racking for my 23 plate transit custom following a conversation with James. Received the racking within a couple of days and was very easy to install, thanks to James and the team for a great buying experience!

I have only just got round to fitting my lower 3 piece grills in gloss black to my vw t6 which I bought from you in may 2024. The fitting is absolutely terrible. I had a look on yoir website and noticed that it's the same on your stock photos. On mine, the lower side grills sits really proud so doesn't line up. It makes my bumper look broken. I'm happy to forward pictures of the fitting along with your stock photos. I'm not very happy at all.

I have serious concerns about this company, they appear to be happily scamming customers. I had ordered an aluminium storage box from them, which happened to be too big. I therefore wanted to return the item in exchange for a smaller one. Here is the thing, upon calling customer services to arrange an exchange, I was advised that exchanges are not possible, I would have to order the smaller box as a new order and organise my own shipment including insurance in case of damage for the return of the one that was too large. This made me slightly wary but thought such suspicion is unreasonable.
Unfortunately my suspicion was confirmed and I promptly received an email stating a refund cannot be issued as the box arrived damaged. After many emails and telephone calls I finally attempted to claim for the value of the damaged item through the insurance cover I took out from the delivery company. However, due to the lack of reliable images provided by Vanimal, the claim was unsuccessful. (The entire sequence of pictures showing external and internal damage of packaging and the actual item appeared staged and didn't align with damage on the item). I would like to stress, that Vanimal is in breach of their own terms and conditions, these clearly state that damaged items must not be accepted by the recipient.

I am extremely disappointed with Vanimal's service and the position I have been placed in by them. The delivery company had advised that any parcel with damaged packaging would be returned to the sender and would not be delivered. Furthermore, the box was clearly labelled that a parcel with any type of damaged packaging must not be accepted by the recipient! However, Vanimal chose to accept the returned item anyway and signed for the received goods without checking!

I have reasonable concerns regarding the validity of Vanimal's conduct and customer relations and their refusal to process the refund.

Ordered a R/H bulkhead from these.
Firstly the positive-the product is good and at a reasonable price.
Now the negative and there are a few.
Packaging is dreadful-just a cardboard box which is very heavy and gets smashed up/ripped and holed as the couriers just drag it around.
Communication with issues is very poor and they do not respond very quickly-indeed the majority of chasing around was done by me despite promises of a call back in 2 hours!
Instructions are not that great and nothing is labelled so best option is too look at the online picture and try and work it out!
Shelving was ordered on the 8th April and after deliveries going wrong with additional bits i finally got a complete new set of shelves on 2nd May.
My advice if you are not in a rush and prepared for things to go wrong then this is the company for you-but as i say the product is of good quality.
i actually brought additional bits from a different company as i could not be bothered to go through the hassle again.
i still have a load of bits that they promised they would send me a returns note and get picked up-Guess what nothing has happened!

Do not purchase sidebars from Vanimal. Website clearly states these fit T6.1, see screenshot from their website, however when they arrived the instructions were illegible. A second set of instructions were then sent but still not clear as photographs didn’t match. I then had to pay local garage to fit as Vanimal would not believe me that they were incorrect, once up on ramp it was clear that the bars were not compatible with VWT6.1 even though website clearly stated they were.

Vanimal mechanics confirmed the bars would not fit my van from photos taken from under my van.

Vanimal then arranged collection but I had to chase them for the refund. When refund was made they deducted £60 from cost and deducted my original cost to have item posted to me. After numerous calls they refunded the additional £60 but still refused to refund the original postage and cost of local garage I had to incur to prove to them the bars would not fit. After several more calls postage has been agreed to be refunded however garage costs still being refused. Company manager and director refuse to speak to me. Appalling customer service!

Very Poor Service, Suspect Quality, and they will not answer my many emails and they fob me off every time I phone them. The shelving arrived and one section had been incorrectly cut and routed out (back to front). I took pictures of the issue and sent these off to Vanimal. Due to needing the shelves in service for a client, I re cut the incorrectly routed component myself to complete the work. I could not get a reply from Vanimal, all I requested was them to cover my time in rectifying the issue. If I would have sent the whole lot back it would have cost them the return postage so they could have just sent this to me as a gesture of goodwill. Not impressed, pictures provided and no reply. Will not be using or recommending again.

Disgraceful customer service. Avoid!

Ordered a set of racking for my 2019 Citroen Berlingo van. On the website, I chose the "2019 Citroen Berlingo van Racking" which was apparently "custom designed" to fit my van.

On arrival of the racking, I decided to do this myself. The instructions said to glue the shelving together first, which I did, and then add the end panels. It was only when I had fully built the racking, that I noticed the end panels looked nothing like the shape of the back of my van. I swapped them round and did absolutely everything, but this was clearly not the right kit for my van.

I emailed them to tell them of my predicament, and to show them the packaging and the actual fitment of the boards, and all I got told was "we sell thousands of these and no one has had a problem before" and "you must have a different 2019 citroen berlingo van" .....and that was it. They are completely disinterested and are now ignoring my emails. Not once did they suggest they may have got the packages mixed up or anything, which I thought would be the logical answer, but it's been weeks of chasing them now with no further response, so it is clear they do not care one bit.

As Vanimal are no longer interested, I have had to 'butcher' this racking to get it to come close to fitting correctly. This is completely unacceptable when I could have ordered this from another company and it would have been a perfect fit. I am now considering speaking with Trading standards to see what further recourse I have with this.

I won't ever consider using "vanimal" again for anything. To all those that got what they ordered, great, but to those that are thinking of using this company, beware, if something goes wrong then their customer service is abysmal.

I want to say I'm happy with the shelving I got for my 2018 Citroen relay van.
It all went together easily , and was straightforward to install into the van with the brackets and screws provided.
I got the one with the systainer shelves, and they hold the systainers securely while I'm driving.
The price is good , you get a good product that looks good and does what it's supposed to and fits the van well.
It was speedily dispatched too.

Van racking arrived very promptly. Excellent quality easy to install very happy with my purchase.

I purchased wooden shelving for my Nissan NV 200 van it arrived fast within 4 days.
It was well packed and surprisingly easy to put together. I hate woodwork so easy assembly was great.
I am a gardener and this will give me valuable storage space, It fits my van perfectly.

First part was fine, after service shocking.

Like many others, bought what was described as a plug and play tow bar wiring kit which actually needed recoding (wouldn't have bought it if I had known this). James at Vanimal said they'd pay for coding at my local garage (£95 + VAT). Now had the coding done, garage wants their money and are chasing me, James answers the phone and says he'll sort it, never does and ultimately I'm well and truly out of pocket now.

Would avoid this company unless you're happy to pay for the recoding!

This is a rip off company describing products not fit for purpose. I purchased a Vivaro wiring loom for a tow bar as this was described as plug and play. This is definitely not the case as the wiring needs to be coded in and when I took it to my local Vauxhall, they couldn't get it to work. I emailed Vanimal (James) and they said the description was wrong and they would change it and they will collect for refund. Several months later, they still haven't collected and the description remains the same. My next course of action is to do a charge back on my credit card to get a refund or if that doesn't work, it will be a small claims court action. So to summarise, order from this company if you want a product that doesn't match the description and you don't want a refund. Also look at all other reviews!!
Update.. as of today 11/01/24, still no refund so will be doing a small claims court application this weekend.

Terrible outfit
Sent me out the wrong bullbar for my sprinter , lost half a day trying to figure it out to realise they had sent the wrong one with awful instructions as it goes.
Anyway mistakes happen , but here's the part
Sent back 3 Months ago no refund still , 4 phone calls no calls back , fobbed off on phone , on hold , put the phone down on you
Disgusting company
I will be seeking my refund via the bank and small claims court
My advice shop elsewhere !!!
