Bought the van on 9th June 2020 and discovered the van was leaking oil 5 days later. After numerous telephone calls to Vanwise asking them to resolve the issue and emails complaining at the lack of action, absolutely nothing has been done. I have had to get the work carried out at my own expense and deal with the ugly oil patch on my drive. WE ARE STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THEM!! THIS IS APALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Very disappointed. No problem with an appointment system in these times, but if you turn up on time, don’t leave someone in 30 deg heat walking the forecourt for 40 minutes with no contact from sales staff. Wasn’t the only one as well. Just walked out, did ring them to tell them, but when i said i didn’t want to re-book they put the phone down. Glad i didn’t pay the £100 reserve fee they wanted. Shame good selection of vans as well.

Friendly staff. I dealt with irfan explained everything to me very clearly.
Would definitely recommend talking to him if you are looking to get a new vehicle.

After a shaky start with discrepencies over price and towbar (now rectified) my van has now arrived and is in fair condition for age and at a reasonable price, i was disappointed that I could not negotiate on the price and to have no choice in the extra £199 fee for AA check and valet on the van only to arrive not clean on outside, again this has been rectified with a promise of a full vallet and some tlc on the small dent in rear door and couple of minor scratches when their garage opens after Covid. If you read other views they were good prior to covid then a couple of bad ones during Covid, lets hope this is just a blip due to lack of staff. And if the van goes as well as it sounds, and they fulfill the promise I would use vanwise again.

Nice van but poor organisation.
Bought a van advertised on AA, AutoTrader and ebay and whilst we are in a pandemic and we have to allow some things to be not quite right i feel that even taking this into account the overall rating is poor.
1) On arrival at the depot you'd expect to receive all the usual documentation and keys but i was given a key and a photo copy of the v5 - nothing else!
2)The ad very clearly stated spare key available and service history (ive kept screen shots) but i'm still waiting for both, but Vanwise have confirmed they have the key which is being sent and are waiting for the service history.
3) I paid the £199 for the customer care pack which includes AA history check, vehicle inspection, breakdown cover and warranty, GardX Interior and exterior protection and Driveaway Insurance. Nothing is as it seems and i think that trading standards need to be informed as a result.
Warranty I was offered extended warranty options but stated i was happy with the 3month standard warranty. No warranty was ever produced, just the statement vehicle is under manufacturers warranty.
GardX - You're not sure what its all about so you look at van wise's website for clarification and see the following:

I asked for the lifetime guarantee document only to be told actually we only give it a treatment we dont do the full package that's the £59 upgrade we talked about - NO SUCH CONVERSATION TOOK PLACE.
4) The van - Its a year old in good condition but the few marks and dents it has were not clearly visible in any of the pictures which is very poor and misleading especially as given you couldn't visit the showroom, the sale falls under distance selling regulations and whilst i know i have 14 days to return the vehicle for a full refund how many people who buy vans can afford to take more time out to do this.
In addition the van has an oil leak which I noticed after a few days as oil spills stained my block paved driveway. It’s been into Fords who confirm it’s a 2 day repair and should have been picked up by the AA inspection. Yet another reason to have discourse with Vanwise as it’s going to cost me 2 days pay just after a lockdown which I’m afraid is just not acceptable.
In summary poor show, still outstanding issues and possibly a van being returned if Vanwise don't provide me with the outstanding items and satisfying the advertised package i.e. GardX and AA warranty or at least reimbursing me for them.

A nice car. Sadly was not clean inside or out when I went to view it. Also a £250 holding deposit was cashed prior to lockdown which is now accruing interest on my account still. Several emails have been sent and because of lockdown no replies. Otherwise a satisfactory transaction was had

Quick and professional.
Vehicle was delivered, in excellent condition days before I expected it. The vehicle was as described (distance purchase due to Covid 19) and upon delivery I was given a canister of sanitiser to release in the vehicle.

I bought my BMW X1 from Vanwise and the customer service was excellent. They were very thorough with the purchasing process and answered all my queries. Value for money wise they are very budget friendly and also delivered the car to my house and they also offer part exchange. Very happy with the service

Thank you all. From the time I arrived just before my appointment at 10AM - to the time I left with my van just before midday - everyone was courteous and had a smile. A lovely clean showroom and plenty of vehicles too.
Special thanks to Ross who was the Sales representative that I mainly dealt with. all in a great experience.

I collected the van on the Saturday afternoon and by the time the engine warmed up, the engine fault light came on , with a message of "engine fault, return to get it repaired" (or similar) I phoned Vanwise, and was told to return it Monday. Which meant I wasn't going to risk using it over the weekend.
I had to cancel my job for Monday and took the van back. They re-set the fault light and said they couldn't find anything wrong. A few miles up the road the fault light came on again. I phoned Vanwise and was told "as long as it's driving OK, it'll be alright to drive it.
I took it back to Vanwise on Tuesday afternoon, where they reset the light again and said it was still showing no faults. so they booked it in to Quest motors as I'm now told there are two recall notices outstanding, which means I have to cancel another days work!.
Took the van to Quest this morning a after a couple of hours I'm told that it needs a Nox sensor, which won't be in until tomorrow. They have given me a van to use for tomorrow, (which I had to pay £15 for the insurance)
I have had to take two full days from work and spent several unnecessary hours of travelling, which has cost me time, money and reputation damage, the money I will be looking to claim back from Vanwise.
This is an AA trusted Dealer how are they allowed to sell me a vehicle, which potentially, is not in a safe condition for use.

I saw the car advertised on Car Gurus and emailed Vanwise with a few questions. I got a rapid response with a friendly email and although only one question was answered I arranged a viewing for the next day. I arrived a little early so another sales person was assigned to me. He was very courteous and found any answers to questions I asked. After the test drive we sat down and thrashed out a deal and I went away happy. The car is just what I wanted and the buying experience a delight. I would definitely recommend Vanwise and will look to using them in the future.
