Fraudulent "automatic subscription" charges every month.

This company has created a fraudulent process whereby THEY automatically sign you up for a "subscription" the moment you try to order one product - one time. No amount of searching on their website had a "subscription cancellation" option. It only allows you to add more products.

I spent almost 30 minutes on the phone waiting. Then an automatic message said there was no one available to help me. Writing to Customer Support only prompted another automated written supply that they'll get back in 48 hours. How can a U.S. business be allowed to "hook" clients on recurring monthly charges? I'm writing Better Business Bureau next.

Shady Company

Like others have mentioned here, they sign you up for a monthly subscription without telling you. I tried to cancel in June and got the run around, finally agreeing to one more bottle in December, which came. I just today got a notice from Paypal that I am being charged again for January. I looked at Vegamours site and I am back on their monthly subscription! I went to Paypal and noticed they have been charging me but not sending the product. A monthly $34.98 fee, except for the month they charged me over $50! I should have been more careful with my Paypal acct. But I did use that great feature they have where you can cancel subscriptions on their end. Bye Vegamour! (PS: The product gives the same results as Rogain but comes in a cute little pink bottle)

CHARGED MY CARD MONTHS AFTER CANCELING SUBSCRIPTION

This company after months of canceling my subscription tried to charge my old card without my consent. THIS CANT BE LEGAL-- DO NOT PURCHASE OR SUBSCRIBE to them. I had to call and speak to a person to cancel my subscription and then months later they charged my card without my consent. SHADY!!!!

I have been using Vegamour since…

I have been using Vegamour since October of 2022 and I haven't seen my hair this amazing since I was probably a teenager. I'm so glad that I finally decided to try the hair growth serum I don't know what I would have done if I didn't.

Be VERY careful about the subscriptions

I am very cautious about signing up for "subscriptions" and read the cautionary tales from this site...but here I am anyway. Had no intention of signing up for a subscription but I was signed up and very surprised to see a 2nd charge within a month of the first. Now, if they made it easy to cancel the subscription, I would still be annoyed but not writing this review today. The ONLY way to cancel is to call them, during their own business hours. Can't do it by chat (their chat support is also ONLY available during "business hours"), or by email. At this point I don't even care if the product works--I won't order from them again. Wish me luck as I attempt to follow all of the very specific steps to cancel something I didn't intend to order.

impossible to unsubscribe

I ordered this product in September of 2022 when I saw an Instagram advertisement. It is a small bottle of liquid that you are asked to use on the scalp. It is not a bad product , I did not make a big difference on me despite my religious use of the product but after two months , I saw some minor improvements (I cannot clearly say whether it is because of this product or that I started to take care of my hair in general) In other words, correlation does not imply causation here.
The big problem here is with the subscription protocols. After couple of months , I wanted to cancel my subscription and I thought I did. Now in Vegamour , one has to not only cancel one's subscription via sending an email ( waste of time) but after asking to cancel, I received an email with a title of confirmation of cancellation: extremely long email apologizing etc.... Great, I was under the impression that I am done. Imagine my surprise when I notice another 50 dollars reduced in my bank account by Vegamour. It turns out that as I did not reply to that email (the very email I receive after I openly cancel my subscription ) , they just continued my subscription as I "never responded my email". They simply say "I can see that you reached out to cancel your subscription. However, we haven't received a response from you so we didn't cancel your account." Why it was not enough for me to cancel my subscription to cancel my subscription is beyond me! So this product is not worth the trouble to begging the marketing department to cancel a subscription for a product that barely works.

Should have read the reviews before…

Should have read the reviews before spending a penny with this shady company! Like others, I had not idea when I did a one-time purchase they automatically signed me up for subscription. No notification when additional products were shipped. Since I was not aware of a package coming, I never received it. Customer service refuse for any kind of refund/credit unless I file a police report. Unfortunately police would not deal with porch pirates. Learned my lesson: 1. Vegamour does not work, 2. Customer service sucks, 3. Minoxidil (the active ingredient in Rogaine) is clinically proven and FDA approved at one tenth of the price. At the end of the day I should have trusted science instead of media hype.

Minimal improvement not worth headache inducing support team.

Ordered the GRO package knowing it was a subscription. The second order never made it to me after waiting two weeks past it’s original delivery date. When I contacted support, they told me it was stuck in a courier facility but that they could refund me, and then offered set up a new order if I wanted or I could wait for my next scheduled shipment in December.

I never replied because I lost my job, moved to a new city, and had to cancel my debit card because it was used fraudulently in another country.

So when I got an email saying vegamour was having trouble charging my card for my December shipment, I admittedly foolishly thought “Well, they don’t have my new debit card info anyway, so they’ll probably cancel my subscription and it saves me the hassle of having to call in to cancel.”

Two days later a pending charge appeared on my bank account. I thought it was just a case of held funds since they didn’t have my new debit card info nor my updated billing address. I emailed asking that the subscription be cancelled and my order refunded. They only replied to confirm the subscription cancellation. That same day, I separately received an automated email saying my order was shipping out.

When I contact them again asking them to provide a refund and asking why they had ignored that part of my original request, they said it was too late and I’d have to go through the hassle of receiving the package (which was sent to my old address to boot) and returning it and paying the shipping cost.

I told them it was ridiculous to put that on the customer when I know for a fact (I worked at a call center that partnered with DHL, USPS, UPS, and FedEx) that the company can request a package be held and returned to them.

They kept insisting I understand their limitations and “educating” me on the recipient being the only one that can contact the courier. They also blamed me for not updating my shipping address and ignored that I requested an escalation to a manager twice I also asked how they managed to charge my new debit card without having any of the new digits or new billing address. That was also ignored.

Honestly, it’s really understated how much a simple “it was an oversight. I’m sorry we don’t have other options to offer” could have saved the interaction. Instead they maintained this lazy tone of “this is your own fault” and offered to credit me the return shipping fees so I could get a full refund once they have received notice from the courier that it was in “return to sender” status.

The minimal improvement in hair texture that I saw in the two months I was able to actually use the product does not excuse their support team’s utterly terrible attitude. I’ll be sure to update this review if I don’t get a full refund after I send back the package (assuming I’m able to get it delivered/forwarded to my new address within in the 30 day return window. If not, I’m having my bank deal with it.

Automatic monthly subscription

I decided to try their serum and apparently, once you buy a bottle, it is a monthly subscription, when I checked back on the website once you buy their product the subscription is already picked out for you! I just realized that I have a subscription when I saw a charge on my credit card! They never sent me any email saying they sent me a product or a receipt of it. You can't easily cancel the subscription online, you have to call them and lastly they charge me a shipping cost to return a product that I never ordered. Very bad costumer service and misleading website
That forcing people for automatic monthly subscription.

UK Customers - Beware (Terrible products and Return process)

MOST PATHETIC products and customer service.

Their products are a sham. Very expensive but don't have any efficacy. If you are in the UK, don't ever purchase from here. Their customer sevrvice and return p[rocess is absolutely shambolic.

I spent £65 to purchase a shampoo and serum. Tried returning it back and they claimed it never reached them. What a waste.

Don't get caught with all the social media craze. It's a setup.

Shady Marketing and Automatic forced subscriptions

I tried their serum due to endless ads I see in social media. Apparently, once you buy a bottle, it is a monthly subscription that you can't easily cancel online. You have to call them. Thankfully, I was able to get hold of their customer service and cancelled my subscription.
I hope they should stop forcing people for automatic monthly subscription. People will buy more if their product is effective.
