I contacted Robert with out any expectation that he could do anything about getting me any more money for my vehicle that was totaled by the insurance company. During the process it was pledentvtslking to Robert over the phone. I emailed everything I had to him and he told me quickly that the insurance company was not offering enough. He sent the information to progressive insurance on my behalf and immediately Progressive got defensive trying to deny my right to have it re appraised and trying to get me to sight title over to them before having a third party review. Robert took care of that with a letter to progresdive. Do to make my long story shorter Robert was able to make a settlement with Progressive for 2000.00 more than they were offering and even with his fee It was over 1500.00 more than I would have had. I recommend highly using Robert. I understand it does not matter where you live in the United States Robert can handle your claim., Ken and Cheryl Young

Our son had a wreck in September in our dump truck. The wreck was not his fault. You think you are doing the right thing when you pay your insurance bill every month but have a wreck and they act like they don't even know who you are. The other insurance company was putting pressure on us to settle on their terms. We did not agree with the choices they were offering. So we get a lawyer to look at our case and when they realize that there is not any personal injury they determine that they can't help us. At this time we have been leasing a truck for several weeks because this is how we make a living. We finally decide we will go ahead and fix the truck with our own money. The man at the body shop tells us about Mr. Robert McDorman at Vehicle Value Experts. We sent him all of our information and he agreed to look at our case. This was either late December or early January. By mid February he had settled our claim. He got our money back for leasing a truck, diminished value of the truck, and our truck still has a clear title and not a salvaged one. There are so many things I don't understand about insurance and how it works but this man knows what he is doing. We not only settled our claim but we feel like we gained a friend. We would use him again and we would certainly recommend him to anyone.

In just a matter of minutes, I found myself in my first motor vehicle collision--which hopefully, will be my last--and in pressing need of guidance through the Insurance claims process. No sooner had my vehicle been brought into the collision repair shop, while recovering from a horrible concussion, that my Insurance company offered me a payout with an insultingly low value for my totaled out limited edition 2014 Scion FRS. Soon to be deprived of my rental car and any transportation, I felt pressured to accept the low offer. If it weren't for the referral of my collision repair shop, Barrett Collision in Abilene, TX, to consult Vehicle Valuation Experts I probably never would have known it was possible to invoke a third party appraisal clause in my policy--and most certainly never would have received the extra $2,000 on top of what my Insurance company offered me based on their improper valuation produced by their own inexperienced appraiser. I was fortunate that Vehicle Valuation Experts were not as inexperienced--and that my collision--was not the only collision they had helped a client through. My Expert Robert worked through the process on my behalf and acted with incomparable grace and patience despite the unfortunate inconsiderate attitude of my Insurance company's third party appraiser. Robert even helped me pick out my next car--and get the best price for it! I'm 49 yrs old and have never heard of Loss of Value claims; this process was new to me and I had no idea how to proceed. I was referred to Mr. Robert L McDorman and I have not been disappointed. My experience was one of excellence.

Robert and his team were on top of this from the moment I got him the info he needed. I first emailed him over the information around 9 pm at night and still received a near immediate response that night. He answers the phone personally and worked his magic to take an initial offer from State Farm of $36k and change up to $41,500 for my vehicle. His service cost was extremely marginal compared to the $5k in additional money he was able to add to the settlement offer for the totaled truck. No matter if your owed diminished value for a repaired vehicle or a more accurate value for a totaled vehicle , don't let the insurance company take advantage of you again because nearly every time they will with the slightest chance. Let Robert keep your insurance company in line for you because when it gets down to paying out what they owe you they will do their best to turn you from a customer to a sucker while shaking hands with a smile. Their goal is to pay you as little as possible period. Don't be the sucker and go with flow of what their telling you.

I have come to know Robert over the past year and I consider him a friend. I manage a Collision Center and we refer all of our customers that find themselves in the unfortunate situation of being involved in a collision and having their car become a total loss. Not One customer has called us back to say he did not do a great job...My son's car was hit while parked on the side of the road and was a total loss.. Robert went to work and we received way more than what the insurance was wanting to pay! If you do not use his company you are throwing money away!

Mr. McDorman is very a great appraiser, he kept me informed every step of the way during this process. In the end he was able to get a substainable amount more then my insurance company originally tried to offer me for my total loss. Robert McDorman was amazing during the difficult time of being hit and having to fight insurance to get a fair price for my car. While I was working on healing from the wreck, Mr. McDorman worked hard to get my vehicle claimed settled and did not let up until I had gotten a fair deal. He was always good about keeping me in the loop as to what was going on and explaining what was happening and may happen in the future. Mr. McDorman made a very rough period smooth and was invaluable.

I wish I knew Robert was providing this service for the public 3 1/2 years ago when my 2011 Toyota Camry was totaled out by an idiot driving too fast on a wet road. I have owned and operated a collision repair shop in the area for over 40 years and I thought I knew how to deal with an adjuster when it came to negotiating the value of a vehicle, boy was I mistaken. From the beginning I felt that I was being tag teamed, by multiple file handlers and rushed into making a decision. My wife and I were totally insulted by their first offer, when I questioned how they arrived at this fair market value they offered to send me a 17 page report that was prepared by J. D. Powers & Associates. In the report they intentionally left off options that were on our vehicle, hoping that if we called them out on this and they added a little bit more money to the second offer we would feel like we accomplished something. I've seen this same strategy used on my Sister-in-Law's report, she went through the same ordeal last December with a different insurance carrier. It is a psychological game for them and believe me they are very well trained at it, the average person doesn't stand a chance. Deeper into the report I noticed that 3 of the comparable vehicles used to determine the fair market value were located at the local dealer we were planning to buy from to replace our vehicle, so my wife brought the report with her to verify that the vehicles were there and comparable to ours. The sales person quickly told her that 2 of the 3 had already sold and that he could not disclose for how much. And when he saw the price that they had listed for the one he had in stock he said that was the internet listed price and that was the "rock bottom price" because of how competitive the internet is. To make things worse a 5% predicted sales adjustment was subtracted from the internet listed price, when I asked the adjuster what the heck that was for he simply replied that everything is negotiable. After making some phone calls to the other dealers that were used to generate this report and going on the internet I discovered a pattern, all of the dealers confirmed that the internet price use in the report were not negotiable and the CARFAX showed that almost all were base model Toyota Camry LE's that Enterprise Rental Car had traded in. My vehicle was a Toyota Camry SE, with added options of a Sun Roof, Leather Interior, Spoiler, Aluminum Wheels, and Satellite Radio. After going through 2 different supervisors, the last being the smoothest talking of all, I demanded that he locate a vehicle equipped like mine and if he used the internet listed price, not to deduct the predicted sales adjustment, and I wanted to know where this comparable vehicle was located so I could verify the options and the price, he agreed, and told me that he would get back with me by the end of the next business day with his final offer. I reluctantly accepted the last offer at my wife's request, because she said it was only a couple of hundred dollars less than the NADA valve and she did not want to get stuck paying 2 car notes, as we had already purchased a new car and this ordeal had been going on for over 3 weeks now. That's part of their strategy wear you down, divide and conquer.
A few months back, a long time business acquaintance, Robert McDorman contacted me because he noticed a rise in the amount of vehicles that were being "totaled out", he knew it affected my business as well because a lot of these vehicles are reparable. I told him that salvage bids (the price a salvage company will pay for a damaged vehicle) were at, all-time highs because most of them were going south of the border to be repaired with cheap labor. So the insurance companies are selling damaged vehicles for a premium price. This was when I learned that he was doing this research on these "Valuation Reports" and he offered to do an analysis on my report, I was shocked at the results.
Vehicle Value Experts (Robert McDorman) did an evaluation on my report and found that most of the vehicles used in my report had in fact already sold and that they had all sold for more than the price used on the report, one sold for $1700 more than the internet listed price, the price they took another 5% off of on my settlement. And I learned that my vehicle qualified to be a Certified Pre-Owned "One Owner" vehicle, about a $1500 add-on to the NADA value. So in the end I sold my clean one owner, well equipped vehicle that was "NOT FOR SALE" to the insurance company for less than the value of a "traded in" rental car. Having to deal with insurance companies on a daily bases I already had a very low opinion of them so be aware. They will and do take advantage of uninformed people every day. I have, and will continue to refer my customers that are in need of this service to Vehicle Value Experts.

if your gonna fight a pack of wolves you need a mean bear to fight for you!!! The insurance company personal are highly trained to screw you over and make you like it!! These people are not on your side but Vehicle Value Experts and Robert McDorman IS!!!! USAA's first offer to my son for his $7,000 truck was $3,600. USAA's second offer was $4,200. One Call to Robert was the last call I needed to make! Low and behold USAA miraculously settled @ $7,300. I was not out to get more than what was fair value but half what my son's truck was worth was total B.S!!!

If you feel your insurance company is lowballing you on your insurance settlement like I was, give this guy a call. By the grace of God I was recommended calling this guy by the collision shop where my totaled car sat. I called him and told him the situation and he went to work immediately. My insurance offered me 14K (which I was not satisfied with) and Robert went to work and got me 21K! It took a little over a month, but be patient its worth it. Seriously don't settle, ins. companies will try to low ball you, give this guy a call, trust me you don't have anything to lose.

I couldn't believe the level of expertise Mr. McDorman possesses. Like most people, I was in the dark when it came to dealing with the insurance company. The difference in the outcome by using Vehicle Value Experts was amazing. Finally, there's a way to protect yourself from being financially abused by the system that we have all suspected was unfair.
