Ordered a kitchen pull out basket. Great customer product and customer service!

It is an scam helped by Bed and Bath and Beyond. Products are bad and broken. No way you can contact customer service . Bed and Bath and Beyond Online just offers an excuse that they were not the direct seller. It is a shame!

I tried to cancel an order before it was shipped, but they wouldn't accept my cancel request and shipped it anyway. I placed the order on October 31. On November 1 I requested to cancel. The person I chatted with said they did not have the ability to cancel my order. The item was not shipped until November 3. When I received it they said it was against their policy to accept returns. Do not buy from this company.

Bought a bathroom floor cabinet. The worst product manual I have ever seen. Will be returning it.

Bought a set of 2 bedside drawers which looked nice on the website but when received had nothing but trouble trying to assemble.

We bought through Robert Dyas and although not their product, tried to not give a full refund for faulty goods so I had to remind them of our consumer rights as the product was not fit for purpose and was faulty.

The screws were really soft and most weren’t even centered properly so they kept rounding off which I’ve seen other reviews here mention. Some holes that were suppose to be pre drilled didn’t go deep enough so that led to more stripped screws. One of the draw sliding rails wasn’t even right angled and looked like it had been bent and didn’t comfortably wrap around the assembled draw pieces.

Honestly couldn’t believe the absolutely awful quality (the screws mainly), the wood itself looked okay.

So glad I managed to get full refund, and although not Robert Dyas’ product, I’ll always be weary of buying furniture through them now. And I’ll NEVER buy anything that’s branded vidaxl. Had a lucky escape and got our £40 back, the only thing we lost was our time and patience.

Avoid them at all cost!

They never deliver the items , neither refund the ‘lost’ items

Do yourself a favour if you see a product is this brand don’t buy it.

I bought a raised flower bed from band q online what arrived was junk

It cost £229 and should have been 4.4m x1.4 m it arrived in box less than 60cm x60cm and took over a day and 500 screws to assemble the edges are sharp and ripped all my clothing

To make matters worse once assembled and filled with soil it completely lost its shape and I had to get wood to make a wooden Flower bed around it. It was absolute junk.

I shouldn’t be suprised it’s not the first time I have been caught out with this brand I bought a garden table and chairs via eBay that was difficult to assemble due to screw holes etc being misaligned- surprise surprise Vidal xl was the brand.

I also purchased a cold frame if eBay that fell apart after 4 months - the brand Vidal xl

Avoid this brand like the plaque it may look nice in the picture but what they are selling is complete junk.

Absolutely terrible!
I ordered a love seat. It arrived on Sept.19th… on the app it is still saying …. Preparing to ship.. when I already have it.
I called Walmart.ca and demanded a refund and to return this item.
It is flimsy, unstable, poorly made, thin plywood strips to hold it together. Tool out foam for cushions.. it comes in 1 box.. 48 pounds.. you assemble this completely and it is garbage. I have been trying for a refund for almost a week. Walmart.ca says.. wait 48 hours.. I have been doing this… I have reached out to the seller…. I am hearing Nothing back !

I bough a galvanized chain link fence through Walmart. $440. It came in 2 boxes. One box was torn open so parts were falling out. There were no instructions on how to install the fence. It is very flimsy. Walmart told me to contact the company. I should have spent a little more and gone to Home Depot but money is tight these days.

Is this a real company?? The shelves I bought are extremely flimsy and do not match the description on the website. They say I cannot return the item although their return policy says defective items can be returned. There’s no way I can keep this item. Buyers beware!!

Ordered 2 fence panels for £340.
They came in two seperste boxes. They never mentioned you have to self assemble them!!! Very disappointed and now its going to cost me more money and time to put them together!

Very shady way of selling items.

I ordered a recliner, came in incorrect fabric. Ordered a replacement it came in two days. They told me that shipping labels to return the incorrect recliner would come in 48 hours, they did not, called again told another 48 hours, it never came, called again…48 more hours. Still no shipping labels and no refund. All handled through walmart.Ca. walmart does not stand behind the service nor does it warn buyers on its website that they host dodgy suppliers. I am out the refund with little recourse as a legal pursuit is not financially viable. So i will stead hope to warn others here. If you must buy at walmart only use in store. On line stick with amazon never had issue with them. Walmart on line? Shady business. Service center is in Delhi, where i have done business for years. They have only one response over and over. “Wait 48 hours” not capable to assist in any other way and no other customer service is available……”Brilliant”

J’ai commandé un abri de jardin à 560€ chez eux. Je me suis organisée pour que la livraison se fasse lorsque j’aurai de la famille disponible pour le montage.
Bonne surprise les 7 colis arrivent avec quelques jours d’avance. MAUVAISE nouvelle 2 colis n’ont rien à voir avec la commande donc impossible de monter la commande.

S’en suivra des douzaines de mails (malgré plusieurs demandes de ma part pour être appeler) afin leur faire reconnaître leur erreur et renvoyer les colis manquants. Avec tout ce temps perdu, je n’ai plus personne pour monter mon abri de jardin! (Ma famille étant repartie!)

Vidaxl refuse d’abord tout geste commercial, à force de mails ils concèdent à un bon d’achat de 50€ sur leur site.. je leur explique donc qu’à cause de leur ERREUR de préparation de commande je suis obligée de rémunérer quelqu’un pour le montage pour environs 200€ (Frais non prévus évidement). Vidaxl propose 90€ de remboursement ou 120€ de bon d’achat! Toujours très insuffisant!

Au delà de tout ce mépris depuis le 3 août 2024, le montage est un enfer, les planches sont de mauvaise qualité, quand elles ne sont pas arrivées abîmées (emballage de transport médiocre), elles se fendent sur les vis!
Les colis ne sont absolument pas renseignés sur les pièces à monter, il faut donc tout déballer et mesurer pour identifier chaque pièce. Une perte de temps considérable.
Je dois également me débrouiller pour remballer des dizaines de pièces en bois pour réexpédier les 2 colis reçus par erreur. Avec l’encombrement et le poids qui va avec.

Bref je ne recommande absolument pas!

I ordered a ‘solid wood outdoor kitchen unit’ in black.

Firstly the listing photos did not remotely match the item that was delivered. The photos showed deep wood grain as if it was solid wood, my item was completely smooth and looked like cheap ply.

Secondly it was completely defective, the top was so warped it could not be attached. There was multiple areas of damage down the legs. And there were screw holes visible in all the shelves which cheapened it massively.

I was pretty shocked to be offered a £30 store credit for this.. as the item was £125.

Honestly I think this is a trading standards issue as it seems like out and out false advertising

The color of the item I ordered looked different in person and clashed with the paint color in the room I was going to use it. I had only unpacked a few pieces and asked via live chat if I could return it. I was offered a $40 coupon or $33 partial refund if I wanted to keep it. When I declined I was told I would receive an email with return instructions within 12 hours. When I didn't, I reached out via live chat again and was told that the original agent had made a mistake and since it was not damaged there was no way I could return it or receive a refund. I realize I should have read the return policy more carefully, but I find it very unprofessional that they won't stand by what their employee told me.

EDIT: After posting this review I was offered a $50 refund which helps cover the time and expense of painting it. I have updated to 3 stars. I was only offered the refund because I posted a negative review, and I still think their return policy should be changed. If I had damaged it on purpose when opening the box they would have let me return it. It felt like I was being punished for being honest.

It appears the sent parts meant for a different parasol and the parasol arms don't fit together. No customer service line, email only for a response in 24 hours. It appears from the condition of the box that this is a previously returned item (likely for the same reason) that was simply taped up and sent back out. I won't but from them again.

Small self assembly wall display unit,looks great in box but 70%of the screw in dowel fittings do not locate correctly into the very cheap aluminium thumb push in fittings they are so loose and some actually set at wrong depth product not fitt for purpose,.if I could give no stars as rating I would

Offered £10 coupon to retain the product, or "a partial refund" of £5!
Currently awaiting response to my rejection quoting the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The following day, a phone message was left, asking me to "ring to discuss" - at the time, I was unavailable, so tried to ring the next morning at 11:55, to be greeted by a recorded message telling me that the desk was only manned between 09:00 and 12:00. Although it seems to be a London telephone number from which the message was left, VidaXL staff must, presumably, work in a different time zone. No facility to leave a message was offered, so I'll try again tomorrow - most unsatisfactory.
This morning (10th July) another attempt to reply to VidaXL's phone message failed being greeted by the same message that their desk only opened between 09:00 and 12:00 - I tried to phone at 11.55.

1. Ik kreeg bericht dat de bestelling vertraagd was (in het Engels). 2. De verpakking was gescheurd. 3. De bestelling wilde ik onmiddelijk retourneren. 4. VidaXL is TOTAAL ONBEREIKBAAR. SCHANDELIJK.

Purchase the stainless steel garbage can container. absolute worst quality for the money extremely difficult to put together not worth the money definitely would not buy from this company whatsoever. Terrible customer service and returns
