Disappointed to find again that after a month with the surgery having had a hand delivered letter from the Physio requesting bloods and further notes written on my blood test request form requesting appointment. Nothing had been added to my Gp notes the nurse was kind enough to seek out a Gp and had hand written suggested tests added to default diabetes blood test

As for the prescribed medication, we're sorry for any misunderstanding or miscommunication. Our standard procedure is to prescribe medications that are readily available in pharmacies. Unfortunately, it seems there has been an unexpected issue in this case. We would appreciate the opportunity to rectify this. If you could please reach out to us directly we will promptly investigate this matter and ensure that you receive the correct prescription.

Yet another miserable experience
Phoned at 1401. Because I knew it would be a long wait I opted for phone back service. At 1625 (yes - well over two hours later) I’d still not got a call back. I phoned again only to return to the queue but told I was number one in line (funny old thing). I explained to receptionist how long I’d waited who disbelieved me as she said there was only a 30 minute queue time so I told her to check the system as I’d been waiting over a couple of hours. Still never managed to get an appointment - yet again!

Disappointed
I was invited to make an appointment for a health check and the standard checks were done. However I had a couple of issues I would have liked more advice on and was told they were unable to give me any advice and I should make an appointment with a go. The issues were only small and I did not want to waste the GP time if unnecessary so was disappointed with this.

While they are integral members of our team, their primary function is to assist in general health checks and routine tests, and they may not be fully qualified to provide the type of medical advice that a GP or nurse can offer.
Our healthcare team, including GPs and nurses, have undergone extensive training to diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions. They are well-equipped to provide the advice and treatment you may need beyond a routine health check. If during your appointment you feel you need more comprehensive advice, we encourage you to book a separate consultation with a GP or a nurse who can provide you with the necessary support.

Four weeks to get a GP appointment…was rescheduled for an additional week due to sickness and short staff…not great as it took a few months to get to this position. However, once l got to see the GP, she was really helpful and understanding.

Went in for my regular B12 injection, which was absolutely fine, but I had a few queries and the nurse was very helpful indeed, answered all my questions and helped with some information.
