Price Gouging 101

In the span of just over two years, the cost of my plan went from $38 after tax to $59. Their app and website is not user friendly and the reception is mediocre. On top of this, you can't even cancel your plan in person... you have to call and be forced to talk to their robots before you can cancel. Totally skeevy. Changing to a different provider was like lifting a giant weight off my chest.

Horrible do not use

Horrible do not use, alot of internet issues, Made appointment for tech to come. Confirmation sent for Appointment made Feb20 between 12pm-5pm. Never showed up.. no call. Then tech calls next day at 9am saying he was on his way. Ya one day later. What a joke

Please dont use this sim they are increaing price evey month i usally have start my plan with 28 dollars now in between 3 to 4 months my bill is dollar 52 without any reason please dont with virgin plus such a stupid company .

Unlike apparently literally everyone else, I have no issues with the service or customer service. My issue is with the device I supposedly upgraded to and am now stuck in a 2-year contract paying $1 a month for.
The Ahlo phone is such complete garbage that I can't even fully express it here. If I could return it, and go back to using my old cracked and broken Motorola phone, I would be way, way happier.
Nothing works the way it's supposed to on it and it's so slow and the battery holds a charge for maybe 4 hours tops. What a disgraceful so-called "upgrade".
Once I'm done paying for this phone, it'll be going directly into the trash, along with my Virgin+ patronage.

The best of the best

I purchased a mobile phone at Carlingwood Mall.
The agent Ahmed was extreemly courteous and helpful.
His knowledge is uncomparable. He did his utmost to help me in every way possible regarding billing etc.
I have always been satisfied with Virgin Plus and the staff but this time, I got the best of the best to serve me.
Thank you!

Ne vous fiez pas aux belles paroles des représentants. Les rabais servent uniquement d’appât. Dans mon cas, un rabais de 5 $ a été repris après 8 mois par une augmentation de 6,15 $.
Service à la clientèle inutile : ils se cachent derrière des clauses de contrat que personne ne remarque. Les plaintes ne servent à rien non plus — le Bureau exécutif se contente de dire que c’est « normal » et qu’ils ont le droit d’augmenter les tarifs comme ils veulent (moi c'est 24 %).
Expérience très décevante. Je ne recommande pas.

Why didn't I read these ratings before I signed up for Virgin Plus. It is a complete disaster. I signed up for the Canada US Mexico plan and the phone would not work at all in the United States. I spent hours trying to register and change the settings. The virtual assistant is completely useless and then I got to the live bodies and they were completely useless also. So many hours wasted!

Terrible

Terrible. Terrible customer service ever. I still can't believe who I called with was from the service centre. That staff attitude was not proper AT ALL. I still CAN'T believe it. Vergin plus was the Terrible customer service EVER.

Abusing every gray zones of the law to abuse your rights as a customer + insulting your intelligence and with no respect for your time nor personae.

Despite the wiring from their mother company Bell Canada being already installed and functional, it took 5 attempts - read 5 days of my life, 5 visits, to have a simple connection work. The service is 95% of the time terrible, a non-formal tone is being used on purpose, that's nothing to the litteral fraudulent ways their sales people (at Best Buy in my case, owned by Bell too) to sell you a service with hidden fees and false saving promises. Nothing is worth switching to this terrible corporate entity. Notwithstanding that I was promised a fibre connection - which is available to them a few meter from my gallery I know for a fact having had a tech speaking on speaker with the central but no. Copper wired connection with terrible ping. It gets worse. But my smartwatch is letting me know that my level of stress (read anger) strongly suggest that I leave my testimony at that which I believe is enough. I should have stayed with Bell Canada. Same company. But with respect. And professionals most of the time.

Absolute shit experience from beginning

Absolute shit experience from beginning to end. Got virgin cell service and internet in the burlington area and the service was so shit. I couldn't take my work calls, couldn't listen to music at the gym - eventhough they show they have coverage on their online map - IT IS A BOLD FACED LIE. Their recommendation to help me was to use WIFI Assist . When I finally called to cancel a year later, they couldn't send me a shipping label that was accurate to return the modem and sent me to collections for refusing to pay up. I don't want to keep your shit modem. Do NOT go with Virgin for anything no matter how good the offer. Their cell coverage is shit, their customer service is shit - you're better of spending your money elsewhere. I switched back to Rogers and got OXIO for internet. No complaints so far.

Total gouging company who doesn't listen to their customers.

They just keep increasing prices and taking away open-ended discounts for no reason. We use less than 3 GB per month and yet we have to take plans offering much more than that. You try speaking with their executive office and they do nothing for you and then ghost you when you ask further questions.
