Compramos un colchón y un topper que huele a granja.

Compramos un colchón y un topper que empezamos usar al finales de octubre del 2025.
El colchón tenía un olor peculiar, pero lo achacamos al haber estado en una bolsa de transporte.
Aireamos bien la habitación y más o menos se podía soportar. Sin embargo cuando empezaron a subir las temperaturas, el olor se intensificó.
Un olor descritos por unos y otros como: “olor a granja”, “olor a cabra”, “olor a establo de cabra/ caballo”…
Fue tan intenso que tuve que dejar dormir en el. Desde entonces (hace dos meses) se está aireando. Algo ha mejorado, pero hay que mantener la ventana abierta 24 horas para poder entrar en la habitación.
Al reclamar a Vispring me comunican que no van hacer nada. Que el olor desaparecerá con el tiempo.

Mientras tanto tengo un colchón y topper de 4.000€ sin poder utilizar. Colchón que compré por graves problemas de espalda.

El colchón en sí es cómodo, pero estamos muy decepcionado con todo el tema.
Uno no compra un colchón que resulta que es como dormir en una granja!
Por lo tanto les aconsejo que se lo piensen mucho antes de adquirir un colchón Vispring, por si tienen la mala suerte que le toca un colchón como el nuestro.
Y leyendo algunas experiencias de otros clientes parece que les ha pasado lo mismo. Ojalá lo hubiera leído sus opiniones antes de comprar el nuestro.

Quién puede pensar que compra un colchón de buena marca en El Corte Inglés y se encuentra sin servicio post-venta?

Don’t waste your money!
We have had problems with one of our mattresses from day 1 with the tufts coming out. We were told by service engineer that tufts were decorative , I suspect after he was called out a 3rd time to reassure us. As a result over the years more and more have come off and the mattress has now collapsed. This is 9 years old and it’s part of a zip together set so our choice is to replace one with another vi-spring ( as the other mattress is not damaged) or buy two new. The supplier offered us a new mattress at a laughable discounted rate which was dearer than one we could get online ourselves!! We bought a vi-spring because of the reputation and lifetime guarantee- never again
We’ve gone with a new bed from elsewhere thats high quality from a Uk company with a 10 guarantee because let’s be honest what use is a lifetime guarantee if it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. The new one has cost less than one mattress from Vi-Spring from a friendly local dealer who has given us some assurances and we are confident that after trying and seeing what we’ve bought the choice to get new at a better price isn’t a detriment to quality. I think Vi-Spring lack in customer service, care and quality

We are sorry if there has been confusion regarding the tufts. Tufts are an integral part of the mattress, keeping the fillings and spring unit in place. Tufts can break overtime but are fully repairable at no cost to the customer under the terms of our guarantee. This is only possible if reported and repaired in good time. The discount offered to the retailer was a substantial discount to try and assist with a resolution.

Overheats and gives lower back pain.

Recently bought a vispring mattress a couple of weeks ago with the base and headboard, I have been finding it extremely hot and quite uncomfortable, it has now given me lower back pain. I have a medium tension which I sleep on which is correct for me my partner has the firm side correct for his weight . I did explain to customer services at Vispring and the LadyI spoke to was very dismissive and unhelpful. She told me that I probably had been mis- sold the product by the furniture store. I spoke to the furniture store and they said as it was a sale item they were not able to help me. So I have a rather expensive £5000 investment that is very uncomfortable causing me back pain and overheating me. Not sure what to do next as neither Vispring want to help and neither do store . Very disappointing and upsetting.. I have learnt a lesson just because you pay a lot does not mean you get good service or good quality.

I did email you the very first few days of having the bed and didn’t get a reply or any form of acknowledgement. It has taken me to put a review up to get any sort of response, even though it’s a generic response.
I still feel I will be wasting my time as as my experience with customer service with Vispring was extremely poor .i believe Vispring will just want to pass it back to the retailer and the retailer is highly unlikely to want to take the bed back .
Vispring made the bed, and there is clearly faults with it. It’s strange in the showroom a 10 minute lie down feels great, but a nights sleep is another matter

The worst experience I have ever had…

The worst experience I have ever had with a mattress. I have a Vispring tiara that has been horribly uncomfortable since the first week. It felt okay for like three days.

I have slept on some of the cheapest mattresses ever, including a 200 dollar costco mattress but this Vispring is so awful that sleeping on my carpeted floor is actually much more comfortable. I think even a hardwood floor would be more comfortable than this mattress.

Good luck getting any help with this issue from Vispring either. Stay away! Trust me, you do not want a Vispring. You'd be better off getting a medieval torture device to sleep on.

The best customer service call I have ever had.

I have hand on heart just had the most helpful customer phonecall I have ever had in my life, with Mark the customer service supervisor.

I was made to feel I could ask anything, and Mark was exceptional in how he dealt with my enquiries. He is a credit to the team.

We are just working on getting my mattress to be perfect and he was so kind with his time and all the options around bed bases etc, and the comfort guarantee.

Honestly, I have never had a more reassuring and helpful customer service call. It has given me complete confidence in this brand. I hope he is commended.

Exceptionally disappointed

Having previously owned lower priced brands which lasted at least 15 years, comfortable every night, all still enjoyed by guests, in use as spare beds: I was persuaded to invest a huge amount more to purchase three new vispring beds, on the basis they were the very best quality, to replace them for my family’s every night use. None have lasted a fraction of the time. The mattresses fast ‘collapsed’, dented (despite turning as instructed), buttons fast came off the mattresses and they became supremely uncomfortable. The divans seem ok but the three mattresses have all required disposal. Exceptionally disappointed.

Helpful customer services!

I rang up Vispring today with reference to a very bad experience of buying a totally unsuitable mattress and topper for my needs! I spoke to an exceptionally kind and understanding chap called Mark who couldn’t have been more helpful. My fears were correct! I had not been given correct information regarding specific info on Vispring mattresses and toppers. As a result I bought totally the wrong tension and the most expensive topper which was never going to be suitable. Both being too hard when I needed something far softer both in tension and also in their feel rating of 1 to 5. I didn’t know this info when buying the mattress. I’ve had to order a new mattress and a base. Had I not bought one,Mark was willing to sort out my issue and give me a suitable new one which would have been far better for my weight and feel preferences. Sadly I’ve still wasted £6700! I cannot fault Vispring. I can see their products are fantastic. I wish I had spoken to Mark a little sooner! Had I known I could deal with Vispring direct they would have kindly provided me with a different mattress which suited my body weight and the right feel for me! Considering none of this was their fault I cannot fault them. Great customer services. I’ve read very negative reviews but this is not my experience at all. I just wish I had never bought the mattress and topper from a place which didn’t give me the advice I needed regarding body weight etc. I also wish I had known how good customer services are! This awful experience has cost me just shy of £10000! If anybody reads this review please please make sure you do your homework work! Vispring mattresses have different feels to their tops and it’s also important to buy the right tension for your body weight. My own experience of Vispring direct has been fantastic. It’s the shop I bought it from who blatantly didn’t give me the information I needed. Lying on a bed for ten minutes will not be enough time to tell if it’s going to be comfortable. I believe Vispring are so tailored to one’s needs you need to be given comprehensive information to choose the right one! Sadly I was not!
Thank you Mark. You did your best for me and although I’ve still wasted so much money I very much appreciate our call today.

Headboard Problem

I had a problem with our headboard on our Vispring bed, it kept coming off the brackets. I contacted Vispring and even though the headboard was out of guarantee they sent me new brackets.

We bought our mattress 3 years ago

We bought our mattress 3 years ago. We went for Vispring as it is seen as the best mattress around…from reviews an online. Within 2 months our mattress developed a noticeable ridge in the middle. We finally got someone out to survey it. They even commented how big the ridge was. Most mattress companies allow for a 4cm dip before they take action. Be warned that Vispring is 6cm! Our dip was just over 4cm, so normally would have been replaced. We got no communication after the survey, which was disappointing and shows their lack of customer service, along with lack of customer service from the store - ‘And so to bed’. My wife and I suffer from back pain and we can only
put this down to the mattress, as we didn’t have it before.

I would encourage people to think twice about visiting and read the T&Cs. Their customer support is non existent. The whole Made in Britain nonsense is either a sign of the poor quality of British build or a way to increase the price to cater for the far right.

Do not make the mistake of buying a ViSpring Herald Superb if you want a soft mattress

We purchased a ViSpring Herald Superb Mattress one year ago. We wanted to purchase the soft mattress, but we were prevented from purchasing it due to our weight (you must weigh under 80kg to purchase a soft mattress and receive the guarantee) (At 6.2 and weighing 82kg, I am not overweight)
We should have realised at this point, that Vispring weren’t for us,
However the shop manager assured us that if we found the medium mattress too hard, Vispring would change the tension.
After 3 months of no sleep, Vispring did change the tension, at a cost to us of £100 for redelivery.
The mattress is marginally softer, but by no means the same soft tension as the 7 shops we visited, testing the mattresses before we purchased.
One year on, many, many hours lying awake on a rock solid mattress and a bad back every morning, I have decided to write this review to deter anyone who is tempted by Vispring.

Steer clear if you want a soft bed.

Our old Relyon soft mattress cost us the same amount and provided years of excellent sleep and we wish we had stayed with the reliable Relyon brand.

Mattresses with a lower feel index such as Devonshire, Dartington & Shetland to name a few would have a more forgiving feel. Edit to my review since Vispring have replied with exactly the same generic reply they sent 2 years ago. I have contacted your customer service via email straight after purchase who were of no help whatsoever.
I wrote a review 2 years ago which for some reason no longer seems to be showing. I have been really disappointed with my Vispring Elite mattress. It felt completely different to the one in store, harder and not comfortable at all. Furniture village did honour their agreement of swapping to a different tension so I went from medium to soft. Unfortunately I found little difference, still uncomfortable to sleep on with a terrible smell that I sadly have to say 2 years on is still noticeable. Vispring offered no resolve to this and I found their customer service poor.

A cat amongst the pigeons.

I will start this review with a caveat, we have owned three Vispring Devonshire mattresses in our lifetime and all but the last one have been spectacular. We had an issue with our last one and whilst any support was initially denied (settling was within tolerance), Mark from Vispring reached out and quite frankly gave us the best customer service that we have ever received. (He 100% deserves a bonus this year).

We are now the proud owners of a new mattress and we now have the tools (regular turning and flipping) to help us keep the mattress in tip top shape for as long as possible. We were not made aware but natural mattresses will always settle and contour to the bodys shape and so moving forward, we can be a bit more careful.

I don't need to wax lyrical about the mattresses because chances are if you have owned one or tried one in a furniture store you will know that their product is unbeatable. It's a British brand with a wonderful history and did you know they furnished the suites on the titanic? I sure didn't...

Anyway, the mattresses and divans are excellent but in addition to that, the customer service is 100% perfect. What does that mean? It means you can buy a Vispring mattress knowing that you've got a 30 year guarantee which is backed up by the sharpest and most emphatic customer service team in the UK.

Yes, they seem expensive but sleep is an investment. We spend a long time (cumulatively) in bed and it's important that we make the right choice when it comes to bedding, beds and mattresses. For the latter, just use Vispring.

Thanks again for turning this frown upside down and we will continue to sing Vispring's praises at every opportunity.

Shopping at Vispring flagship store!

My partner and I went to the Vispring Flagship Store, on Regent Street, as we needed a new mattress but were confused about all the different options, and prices! Edward took good care of us, with a no pressure explanation of what things we should look for, and how to choose a mattress best for us. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful, and it was a relief to be able to test the mattresses away from the crowded department stores. Decide for yourselves about whether you want a Vispring mattress, but we cannot fault the shopping experience at Regent Street with Edward. Thanks!

Quality products, quality service

I have been looking for a new bed for sometime, I have purchased a few from some "big name" retailers" with minimal help I have always felt let down and not as comfortable as the "quality purchase" should have left me. However having had some extensive advise about what too look for in a mattress and how they work for example tension, weight etc all being mitigating factors. I invested in the luxury brand of Vispring in the hope I would be able to experience the comfort I have been chasing. The service was second to none and the quality of the product has been exceptional, I am 4 months in and exceptionally pleased I have taken the advice on board and invested in my comfort! Thank you Vispring exceptional work!

Excellent after sales support and customer services

We have had a Vispring king size divan for a number of years now and it remains as comfortable as ever.
A few months ago, some of the mattress tufts became detached and having contacted Vispring via the shop we bough the bed from they arranged for some technicians to visit us and replace the tufts under their amazing 30-year guarantee.
More recently we were fortunate enough to acquire a full sized headboard to replace the original strutted one, but it didn't come with the brackets to fix it to the divan base. After making a phone call to Vispring customer service the required brackets arrived in the post a few days later, and at no cost!

Amazing customer service.

I struggle with back issues, got great advice on what mattress would benefit me most, had my mattress delivered with a little issue which was sorted so fast and i have never slept better. Going to buy more for my children now!
