Good team work

Whenever there is a problem with the venue, Vivify contact me as soon as possible so we can try and have alternatives. At the venue the team are fabulous and always help to resolve issues with the venue, such as moving tables and chairs, or trying to find last minute alternatives when we have an unforseen issue.
I have to say that Rob from the office in Manchester is really great and pro active in contacting me.
Alperen, Holly and James at the venue are a great team to work with, always helping with issues, fab to work with.
Vivify are a good company at managing hiring the halls and sports halls, I would definately recommend them.

Keep up the good work team.

Excellent service and very helpful

We have been using Vivify for approx 4 years now to book our Volleyball trainings and sessions. The staff is very helpful and do it best to accommodate our time slots and help us to resolve any issue or last minute change.

A company with a customer approach and a can do attitude

I made a booking last week which needed to be amended. Due to it being between two venues, I was unable to do this online. Everyone I have spoken with at Vivify have been great to deal with, nothing has been too much trouble. Rob who I last spoke to advised everything step by step and resolve my issue. Thank you all.

Excellent service

I have always found Vivify very helpful -- both the staff at the hire centre and the booking agents at head office.

Bookings tend to run very smoothly but, if you ever have any concerns, they address them.

I have been using their service on a regular basis for the last four years and can wholeheartedly recommend this organisation.

The complaint was dealt with awfully…

The complaint was dealt with awfully and being offered a refund of £46 when I have lost nearly £400 is not acceptable at all.

I am writing to raise a major issue that I encountered with the space that I had booked through Vivify at Langley Primary School. I booked through your website and on the 13th February and I received a response the following day confirming that it was booked for 21st March 2025. I checked during the week leading up to event that someone would be there and sent across my public liability. All was confirmed and I was ready to go for the event. As you can imagine the time and effort marketing an effort was a long process and I invested £50 in marketing.

I even called up on the evening to confirm that it was still going ahead, to which I was advised that it would be and someone would be there at 7pm-7.15pm. My clients had all turned up for the event and we were all stood outside waiting to get in.

We were informed by the cleaners that we were not permitted to enter the premises unless someone was onsite with us from the school, but no one was there. I asked if one of the cleaners would stay and offered to pay them but they were unable to facilitate my request. I spoke to Operations manager who was trying to get hold of another host and speaking with the cleaners however there wasn’t any luck. All I have been told was that the wrong person was booked for the event, which is completely unacceptable.

By this point my clients were getting cold standing outside and it was raining the entire evening. Not only were 10 people waiting outside and being refused accessed for a class that they had booked and paid for, but my reputation as a business owner was considerably going downhill. I couldn’t believe that I had 10 people waiting to attend a class that wasn’t happening, nor did we know whether someone would come and whether it would be going ahead at all.

Anyone that I could contact in relation to this matter had then turned their phones off and we were eventually advised that we need to vacate the premise. I was deeply saddened to have to tell my clients to leave the school grounds and that the wellbeing event wouldn’t be going ahead.

Some people were extremely unhappy and disappointed about this and rightly so, particularly as some people had travelled from all over Kent to be there some over an hour away. I offered to refund them for the inconvenience, but of course my reputation and income has been affected as it is unlikely these people will book again as it made me appear so unprofessional. This is despite the fact that I had called to confirm that everything would be going ahead on the evening and was advised that it was. And

Once the cleaners had left, the barriers to leave the school grounds closed and as we had attempted to vacate, we had got stuck behind the barriers of the school which weren’t opening. We started pressing buttons and took it in turns to drive up to the barriers in the hope that they were automatic but without any luck. Not only did we have a horrible ordeal at the start of the evening but we were inside the school which was making us feel very distressed and anxious. Three of us were then stuck in the car park for nearly an hour. I couldn’t imagine what would have happened if someone had any health issues that required immediate attention, and no one would have been able to come in and help. I contacted someone who attempted to make contact with someone to let us out, and finally after some time a teacher came to let us out. No one from Vivify was contactable anymore so if it wasn’t for this local teacher we would have been completely stuck.

In light of this horrible ordeal, I understand the situation with the gates is not the fault of anyone, however there should be some responsibility for the fact that no one has showed up for this booking for a class of people booked through your company. I am asking for a complete refund for this booking and compensation further compensation for the humiliation, embarrassment and reputation to my business that this situation has caused us. I was informed on the telephone that a refund and compensation would occur.

I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. They are completely unacceptable, unprofessional and unreliable. I don’t know how they can call themselves a company

Vivify Venues is probably the worst…

Vivify Venues is probably the worst company with whom I have ever dealt. They do not respond to inquiries. They make promises and then break them. They treat their employees very badly. They cancel sessions without notice. They do not care about inconveniencing people. Try to avoid this company at almost all costs.

1 STAR IS GENEROUS!

I have been booking with this company since early October and they have been nothing but pathetic.
Here is a list of problems:
1) Awful refund or amendment policies
2) There staff/salesman outright lying
3) Staff showing up late to open a venue therefore eating up time I have paid for.
4) Cancelling a session 2 hours before starting
5) Cancellation of 5 sessions a day before one started.
6) Exam desks set up (which before booking I said will this be the case, they said NO (outright lie)) therefore having to now move the desks and using a very small part of the venue. Getting the money back for this was way too difficult which makes no sense as I had to call them up multiple times.
7) I used the whole sports hall which consists of 3 badminton courts, 1 court cost £15 but the hall costs £65. Asked if i could just pay 3 courts for £45. (they said this was an error)
Check a week later and they have decreased the price but I was not informed and they still expect me to pay full price. Then ask if I can pay for 2 courts they say no because we have an "agreement".

Awful company and as seen by the reviews I am not alone. If anyone is looking to use there services DONT and if any venues/schools are looking to start using them as well, do not as they obviously take a percentage and they provide a pathetic service.

All previous reviews about Vivify not…

All previous reviews about Vivify not accepting cancellations appears correct. This has been our charity's experience too. Be extremely careful with these folk - they are not interested in supporting the needs of their hirers, they're only interested in your money.

AVOID!! ITS A TRAP!

I wish there were zero stars give!
I have been having to deal with Vivify (unfortunately) for a couple of years and have had countless problems with them!
The most recent being that because I agreed to having Wednesday slots up until August. They won't allow me to cancel them! So even if I won't be using the hall they will still be charging me monthly in advance!!
There is no option to remove a payment option. If you're unwell, or for any reason you can't attend they only allow you to do this 1-4 times a YEAR depending on how many bookings you have...how is it legal!?

Terrible - Don’t use!!!

Terrible

Over 4 weeks notice to cancel a booking and they refused.

I am now getting emails from credit control asking when im going to pay, which I have already explained I will not be paying, still email me accusing me of no correspondence

Can't vote zero stars unfortunately. Increased prices and a poor cancellation policy already put players off. We're now on a 2nd week of cancellations due to 1 staff member being ill - sickness can't be helped but there are no contingency plans. We never had trouble when the school caretaker looked after it. We're likely to look for an alternative venue now.
