How Customer Service should be
This is to thank in no particular order Libby, Ellie, Daniel and Raiss.
After having been sent from call to call by my insurance company, all at vmobility were patient and helpful and did what they said they would do.
Libby and Ellie helped me deal with my insurance companies lack of customer services (perhaps you can train this insurance company?)
Dan confirmed the insurance company agreed the replacement car and attempted to get written proof, despite 45 min on the phone to them.
Raiess (forgive me if spelled wrong) confirmed all correct, chased again this morning and emailed within minutes written confirmation.
Thanks to all concerned, you went above and beyond

An absolutely disgusting service.
I rang them at 8.30 on the day I needed the hire car to check what time the car would be with me. They informed me that the car would be with me between 9-11. This is fine as I have a hospital appointment at 11.40. At 11 is no sign of the hire car. I rang again and was told someone would get straight back to me. 30 minutes later I get a text saying the car would be with me at 6. At 3pm I ring to double check the car will be here at 6 as I need it to go out just after 6. I am then informed that the car is not coming but it will be with me tomorrow at 3. I asked to speak to a manager before the end of the day but surprise surprise no call. I have missed a hospital appointment, been unable to do school runs, go out this evening. If I had been informed this morning I would not be getting the car today I would have cancelled the repairs on my car! It is an absolute disgusting experience and their communication is shocking. I haven’t even been able to make a formal complaint as there doesn’t seem to be any methods to complain and the managers do not return your calls. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN!!

Libby was fantastic in dealing with my hire van.
After 7 weeks of getting messed about my kindertons after my van got hit by a drunk driver, cogent and v mobility worked together to get me in a hire van once it had been handed over to them.
I specifically asked for a hire van that was just wasn’t a transporter, reason being is my knees touch the dash and I’ve got a couple of torn tendons in my knee. Libby had a ford transit at my door within a day, unfortunately the hire company who supplied it left it disgusting, it stank & was sticky inside. Spoke to Libby. Less than 3 hours later I had a different, nicer van on my drive ready for me to start work.
Cannot recommend Libby & v mobility enough.

No show - No communication
Just spent my Saturday afternoon waiting for a no show delivery of car that was supposed to be delivered between 13:00 and 15:00. Zero communication and no number to call - absolute Jokers☹️

Given a two-hour window for someone to drop my car off, and nothing - no car. Can't phone the landline, no out of hours, no comms to say where the car is. After all the reviews here, I'm probably better off not dealing with them!

£710 for a little scratch the alloys, Avoid this company at all costs i personally believe they are trying to extort me. I Had a hatchback and they gave me an SUV as my 'like for like'. I told their admin team that i would like to appeal and she essentially told me that there is no point.

When a delivery trust ran into our parked car, the company arranged for a replacement through vMobility, I was initially nervous expecting long waiting times etc however my experience was a breath of fresh air. Georgia and her colleagues were amazing. They were friendly, helpful and extremely fast. We received a replacement car within hours and they helped run us through the process when certain details needed to be changed. I will definitely use them again.

VMobility shambolic and scam outfit…
VMobility exists only take the p**s out of insurance customers.
Unable to extend car hire unless confirmed 48 hours before expiry date, the hire company Europcar don't require such notice. The computer system they have needs needs 48 hours to process a request.
Additionally as they are probably using the Amstrad CPC464 they need to charge an admin fee for going to the toilet.
An absolute bunch of thieves and leeches, they have provided no evidence of payment of any alleged fine nor have they followed any procedure.
Sick to death of these insurance companies and legal loophole scam outfits.
At time of writing they claim to have paid a parking fine I have no knowledge of and added on a brucey bonus of £40 + vat.

STAY AWAY…I would not even give this…
STAY AWAY…I would not even give this company 1 star if the option was available. They are rude to deal with from start to finish. My insurance company used them when I had an accident, the service is very long considering the urgency of the matter……they firstly delivered the hire vehicle to the complete wrong address, which made further delays, I lost 2/3 days of work because of their mistakes (mistakes that should not be being made when it is their job to deliver vehicles to the right address promptly)
In the process of advising I was still waiting, their customer service was awful, staff were rude and would be sarcastic and laugh down the phone asking me to check my own drive way again!
When they finally delivered another vehicle days later it was not like for like and all they could advise is that is all they had in their fleet as all other vehicles were hired.
They pestered me if they could collect the vehicle whilst I was still entitled to it for another week or so due to them advising they’ve sold it. Once I agreed collection they didn’t collect it for a further week, leaving it on my driveway after all the pestering to get it back.
They are now chasing me for parking fines and premium petrol rates with admin fees on top.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am currently taking them to court.

Trying to charge me for non-existent parking tickets
Had a car from them for a few weeks and returned it all ok, then started getting emails saying I owed them for a parking charge.
I had parked at a hospital where I PAID for my parking and ParkinEye had sent a charge to vMobility (pretty sure they do this when the vehicle is hired as they know the companies will pay up).
Proved to vMobility and Parking Eye that I paid for the parking but today I receive TWO demands for payment from vMobility totalling almost £200. Presume one is in relation to the Parking Eye charge which was appealed and cancelled. No idea where the other one is from but I did not get any tickets or park anywhere where I could conceivably have been charged.
Quite frankly, this feels like a deliberate ploy with Parking Eye and vMobility working together to defraud their customers.
HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
Edit: I had already contacted them before the response they posted below. Turned out one of the bills they sent me for almost £100 was an 'error'. Riiiiight.... Many more vulnerable customers would have just paid it when the bill arrived in their inbox.
The other supposed charge for parking I PAID FOR is NEVER going to be paid. VMobility, I would LOVE you to take me to court over this, really, fill your boots.. It's the only way you'll ever hear from me again.
Don't believe their b******* in the response below, they're no better than common thieves.

Total sharks
Total sharks - avoid at all cost and be very careful when signing their contract which includes a big excess plus “admin charge” add-ons. I scuffed a couple of wheels when parking believing the car was comprehensively insured, as I was assured on the phone. They also charge £42 “admin” on every parking ticket. VMobility stung me for £793 in total for a courtesy car - more than it cost me to get the repairs done to my own vehicle. They gave me a Thrifty hire car which I’m guessing they had fully insured and cost them nothing when they handed it back. I travel for a living and don’t normally feel moved to write reviews but this is by far the worst car firm I have ever come across in 40 years.
Additional comment 12/11/24: The comment posted by vmobility in response to my post does not address any of my concerns.
I have since sent the following letter to them after receiving support from Hounslow Council. They have not replied. They are sharks - avoid:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Having received your demand for £793, including £218 in "Admin Fees", I have taken up the matter with Hounslow Council's Transport and Parking Investigations Team and have received a very helpful letter in which they draw serious conclusions regarding your conduct.
Having made detailed inquiries on my behalf, the council has rescinded all four PCNs - Ref Nos NJ40233743, NJ40286910, NJ40442197, NJ40115714 - acquired while I was driving courtesy car YD73 PGM, which is confirmed in the attached letter.
In addition, the council investigations team pointedly raised concerns about the way in which you have sought to extract "Admin Fees" by paying the fines before informing me they had been issued.
The team went on to conclude that this tactic denied me my lawful right to appeal against these penalties.
Transport and Parking Investigations Officer Philip Lee-Morris goes as far as to describe vMobility's business practices as "totalitarian" in the attached letter.
He concludes: "On the basis that these notices are effectively quashed, they are effectively withdrawn and therefore the imposition of administrative fees by any third party, for the actions of opening an envelope and observing the contents might be classed as wholly unreasonable.
"I very much hope that the hire company is able to appreciate the sheer inappropriateness of wishing to penalise you, having already done so by severing your access to the appeals procedure."
I agree entirely with Mr Morris's findings and expect you to respond accordingly in good faith.
All of the PCN monies paid to the council by vMobility will be refunded and I look forward to receiving a full refund from you within seven days.
I also expect you to refund all of the improperly charged "Admin Fees" in order to draw this unpleasant and time-consuming matter to a close.

Exactly the kind of company you DON'T want to deal with in an emergency.
We had the misfortune of dealing with vMobility this week, when regrettably someone drove into our parked car meaning we needed repairs and a hire car.
vMobility (a sub-contractor of Allianz) confirmed availability of a courtesy car (both via email and on the phone) to be delivered to our house, they took a deposit from us, and said the car would be delivered within a 9am-12pm window.
At 11.45am we hadn't received any communication from them so we called to be told there was now NO availability.
Having already waited 2 days without a vehicle this was extremely frustrating, as if we had been informed at 9am we could've made alternative arrangements.
It is their duty to contact us, not the other way around.
This massively compromised our plans for the day and there was no apology from this company - just "I completely understand, but there's nothing we can do".
Obviously, we will not be dealing with them to arrange the repairs of our car. Utterly shambolic.
