Volvo in Poole not trustworthy
I went to Volvo in Poole because of a safety recall, and I took the opportunity to have the MOT done by them. The car failed the MOT because there was a problem with the ball joint on the front right side. When the car was delivered to me, after a wheel alignment that they said they did, the steering was pulling to the right. I contacted them and took the car back to them for a new alignment. When the car was delivered to me, the steering was this time pulling to the left and a DSTC fault was showing on the dashboard and the right tyre started to go flat, which had not happened before I took the car to Volvo that day. I went back there the same day and they told me the problem was with my tyres, I went to put new tyres on and at the garage they discovered that I had a crack in the right wheel. Now I am waiting for them to take ownership of the problem they created and fix it. I was thinking of trading my V60 for an XC40 later this year, but at the moment I don't want anything to do with Volvo, just for them to take ownership of their mistake and fix it. My level of trust and satisfaction with Volvo is zero. I did not expect this from a reputable brand like Volvo.

After investigating your review, I am aware that your vehicle initially failed its MOT due to a worn offside front track rod end. This was ordered, and you returned on the 9th of June for the repair to be carried out. Upon your return, our team also noted significant corrosion underneath and seized rear-axle components. We explained that these issues meant a fully accurate wheel alignment couldn’t be guaranteed. We also advised you that the severely worn nearside front tyre (which we did not touch or remove during our repairs) condition existed prior to our work. Likewise, no tyres were removed throughout the process.
We understand this situation has been frustrating, and regret that it has affected your confidence in our service. We would like to assure you that our Aftersales Manager is reviewing your case and will be in touch within the next few days to discuss how we can support you further.

I didn’t have my car serviced at Poole…
I didn’t have my car serviced at Poole I went to Cambridge garage in Bedhampton. Still very unhappy with the tyres that were on the used car I bought from Volvo Poole. I took my car for a service and was told the car was sold to me with just about legal tyres, which you are allowed to do but morally it was not the right thing to do, I expected more from Volvo.

How a Company manages issues is the…
How a Company manages issues is the acid test. Having purchased an EX30 from Volvo, Poole we experienced problems that in all fairness should have been identified and fixed during Pre-Delivery Inspection. This said, once it became clear that our local (Bells Volvo, Bedford) were uninterested and incompetent the strong customer service ethic demonstrated by John Beales was very much appreciated. The car was collected by Volvo, Poole (with a courtesy car dropped off for the duration), checked with the roof paint issue rectified swiftly. Joh also arranged a Volvo payment to cover the inconvenience caused. Thank you John and the Volvo Poole team!

Good understanding of my needs.
The salesman Sam had a good understanding of the car and gave me the guidance that I was seeking. I chose the B3 model with the Plus spec. The company kept to the time scale that I wanted. The end result is very pleasing. It arrived at the dealership on February 11th 2025. All of the extras that I required were fitted and they even gave me an additional number plate for my cycle rack.

Simply the best! Always ticks all the boxes!
Poole Volvo always ticks all the boxes. From the moment of walking into (as repeat customers) the showroom, we were very well looked after. John, The General Sales Manager, was very helpful and a great communicator. Bradley, the Salesman was very attentive and looked after us well. Joanna, on Reception went above and beyond, welcoming us with delicious hot chocolate and biscuits, even giving some water for our two dogs. She was very friendly and helpful. The showroom has a friendly air about it and is spotlessly clean. We love our new car and we love the treatment we received from Poole Volvo. We would 100% recommend them!

First time experience with this dealership
I recently moved to the area and had some issues with my Volvo. I visited Volvo Cars in Poole where they quickly booked my car in, assessed the necessary repairs which were under warranty, ordered the parts, and fixed it within 24 hours. Well, we don't change cars that often and things change it seems a lot more completed.
However the transaction from seeing the car trading in our old one and driving the new home was made as easy as it could be and very little stress thanks to Jordan Fleet who took as much time as was needed, nothing was to much trouble for him. His professional and good nature made the experience enjoyable. He is a credit to Vovo cars Poole.

Ok but could be better
Pleasant helpful staff but actual serving of vehicle could be better. Last year had to take car back within two days of service because car was losing power.
Had to arrange to get car transported back to garage as they refused to look at straight away. Then received an apology because they had fitted a faulty part.
This year received the car back and on way home message on screen appeared “confirm passenger airbag, “ Next day another message “ propulsion system needs service” Phoned garage and was told to ignore and delete as this can happen!

Assisted throughout by James Brangan, my purchase was smooth and quick. He was patient and helpful, not pushy, and a great person to deal with. The showroom atmosphere is one of help and advice. All staff were polite and friendly.
