Well the website was easy to use
Well the website was easy to use. The prices were reasonable and delivery was prompt. The only drawback was that one of the blades had a tungsten tip missing. Phoning Walkers was simple, no quibble I got a replacement shipped out the next day. These things happen, it's how they're dealt with and Walkers were excellent. I would recommend them and certainly purchase from them again.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Once again I'm sorry that one of the blades had a tip missing, this isn't common but it does happen from time to time and I'm glad we could resolve it quickly for you.

Hi Gerald, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. If you have a spare few minutes at any point please get in touch with me to let me know how we can improve our service to you to achieve the full 5 star rating.
The product was delivered promptly and…
The product was delivered promptly and features a wooden handle. It would be helpful to provide more details: the blade has a serrated edge. The existing image doesn't reveal much, even when zoomed in. A close-up of the blade's edge, along with a description, would be advantageous. It's perfect for rough cutting but not ideal for smooth scything. The blade needs sharpening before use, and peening could be challenging. The paper wrapping around the blade was a thoughtful detail, though a guard would have been nice. Would I purchase it again? I'm uncertain; I'd need to clear a lot more bramble and scrub if I do.

Thanks Paul, the product page on the website does feature information including the fact the blade has a serrated edge and a wooden handle. Unfortunately the cost of including a guard with this product would simply be too expensive due to the curved blade. I appreciate you taking the time to leave this review.
Satisfied customer.
Competitive price, well-packaged and excellent quality; good website - easy to navigate.

Hi David, thanks for a great review! I'm really pleased you're happy with the quality of the saw blade and that we managed to get it to you quickly.
A happy virgin
Your website was easy to use and quickly took me (a complete table saw virgin) to the three bits of vital information ie diameter of blade ,bore and kerf. This might sound obvious to you but it is not obvious to the majority of people who sell on the internet. The saw is now performing better than it did with it's original blade.

Although what was supplied was not quite correct as an item had been mispicked. As soon as I notified Walker Tools the correct item was despatched to me straight away. Everybody makes mistakes it's how they are dealt with which is the true measure and this experience could not have been better. I shall certainly be using Walker Tools again.

Hi David,
Thank you for leaving an excellent review. Sorry again that you were sent the wrong blade but I'm glad it was a simple solution to get the correct blade sent out to you. I look forward to your next order which I'm sure we will get right first time!
Star performanceThe thing that impressed me most was…
The thing that impressed me most was not the sending out of my order but the fact that Andrew Walker(?) picked up when I rang later for some advice (which he declared he was not really able to give). He listened and discussed my problem with me. In today's 'couldn't care less world' it was wonderful to be able to talk to someone who genuinely wanted to help. I think this was quite an uncommon experience and I wish the company the very best. Five stars is nowhere near enough Is there a 'whole galaxy' rating?.

Hi Dave, thank you very much for your wonderful review! It's great to hear you were impressed with our customer service, I hope you are equally as impressed by the quality of our products. We look forward to helping you again next time.
A Little Extra Information Require!
Goods arrived in good time and it has a wooden handled. However, a little extra detail would be good: Has serated blade edge.
The current image provide no real clue even when enlarged. A close-up of the blades edge would be benificial together a description.
As it goes it's great if you're hacking away but useless if looking for a smooth scything cut. The blade also requires honing before use and peening will difficult.
The paper wrapping around the blade was a nice touch, shame no guard.
Buy again? Not sure, I'm going to need a lot more bramble and scrub if I do.

Good Morning, Thank you very much for leaving us this review, detailed feedback like this is so helpful for improving what we do.
You are correct in that our wooden handled sickle has a serrated edge, if you hover your mouse over the image on the website it does offer a zoomed picture and this can be seen however I completely agree that we could make it a lot clearer.
We are trying to go through all our products and add further information to the product descriptions, this is a timely process due to the number of products we stock but I'm confident that in the near future we will complete this to give all our customers more information to direct their purchase.
Thank you once again for your detailed review.
