I went into Wallgreens on international drive, Orlando. There was a black lady stacking shelves in pharmacy area. I asked her to help direct me to some bug spray and she couldn’t be bothered and just gave me a dirty look and shrugged her shoulders. So unhelpful! Not acceptable.

I was told my prescription was ready. Showed up to pick it up, and was told my insurance had not approved it yet. In reality, they did, but the idiots could not find the approval. I am pharmacist as well and called that pharmacy 2 times for transfer and very bad experience with her. I have been pharmacist for 20 years and never had horrible experience with any pharmacist. She does not know how to act professional neither she respects anybody.
Shop elsewhere
After today we will never ever shop a Walgreens ever again. From online/in-store purchasing it is so annoying. You can just use a coupon but are forced to use a app that doesn't even begin to function. The insanity is beyond me.

The pharmacist told a man I did not no I was on a narcotics I was crazy and a problem. My daughter saw this heard all this a minor btw. And I have the witnesses names phone numbers and the manager was contacted immediately. And so was the 1800 number. My doctor on the phone heard this as well. Nobody has contacted me back . I’ve gone to the Walgreens at 13307 NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE Silver Spring, MD 20904 since July 2014 when it was a Rite Aid and have gone into this pharmacy about twice a month and the store much more for ten years. I will NEVER go back. I have been out of the country and my mom who is 90 picked up my prescriptions. I've had the pharmacist Tatiana a few times. She has a really distinctive accent and is a bit gruff in an enduring way. I spoke with her yesterday on the phone and she said the 'scripts my mom got were a mistake and to come and they would return it. I also had another prescription that was a little over due and they told me they'd hold it for a day. I waited in line for about 20 mins and they had not held the other prescription. I then went to another window where Tatiana was in a really bad mood. She's waited on me a millions times before and I've never had a problem with her. I let her know that the medication was 10mg and I hadn't taken 5mg for over a year and a half. It was also the generic which made me very confused because they had not explained it was the same medication when filling it. I have stomach problems and my doctor would NOT have done this. It's actually a pretty big thing for me. They had also filled my regular non-generic 10mg medication and then the generic AGAIN for 10 mg which gave me a total of NINE bottles of the same medication. She started off that it was not their fault, that is was my doctor's fault, even before she looked at the computer. I said I didn't think so because I hadn't been on the 5mg for a year and a half and hadn't seen my endocrinologist since October. I told her it was the end of a long day for everyone and could she just look up the "script and return my money. She kept escalating the situation and I kept asking her to do her job and de-escalate the situation. Yes I used that "exact language." I kept asking her to DO HER JOB and de-escalate the situation. She then bizarrely asked if I had a gun and was going to shoot her! WHAT? I didn't even have a purse just my phone and some car keys. It's summer. No lady where do you think I'm hiding it? She then refused to look up the medication or let me return the medication and kept telling me she could not do so with out a receipt which she had told me was ok just YESTERDAY. UNBELIEVABLE. Cursed her out and am NOT sorry. Went to speak to the manager. I think they KNOW there is a problem with these people. I'm 48 and this is the SECOND time in my life I've asked to speak to a manager. I've lived in all kinds of three ring circuses all over the world including DC so I'm pretty patient and also do customer service for disabled people all day so understand the frustration. Like I said this isn't the greatest location but I've dealt with it for 10 years without complaining. But if I ever spoke to a patron the way this woman spoke to me I would be FIRED. I had just had a really nice day and was with friends for a lovey terrace dinner and then on the way home walked into that. Now I have a headache. The pharmacy should make you feel better not worse. BIG FAT PASS. Walgreens is going bankrupt. Wonder what the problem is. Not the biggest Amazon fan but OK if you insist.
Very poor service
Cashier walked off as we came up. Just taking a leisurely stroll towards the photo department. Didn't talk to anyone or do anything. She saw us and took her leisurely stroll back to the register. Then When I was going to pay I was reading the info on the card machine and she reaches over and hits it so I could not read it. I told her " I was reading that" She mumbled something. That is not the way to treat the people who help you get a paycheck.

This review is just for NEWBERG OR. If its They're policy as a franchise then the Negative ☆☆☆☆☆ five stars applies to all of them..if only you could do that for real, it would sure weed out the rot in our economy faster.

I am a disabled veteran. I went to pick up my prescription for pain medicine and was told it was to soon. The script was for 90 pills ,but instead of listing 3 a day the drs office typed in 2. so i said i would ca;; them to correct it. The pharmacist told me he did not care who i called i couldn't get it for 2 weeks and that i take to much of this medication. The prescription was changed 3 times as requested by P.T due to shortage. After speaking with Dr. office i received a msg stating my script was ready for pick up. Upon arriving spoke with same P/T and she got a different pharmacist to tell me the same thing the 1st one told me. This aggravated me. I left and had the dr call this in to another Bridge City Tx CVS only to find out no stock available. So i waited 2 weeks and and went in to fill my wife's meds. I also inquired about my pain medication and the 1st pharmacist i dealt with told me i had to come back next day. He was on a power trip. i was belittled 2 times before and had enough. I spoke very rudely to him and told him he was on a power trip. He said i cant talk to him that way. I said a few more statements and he laughed at me and said you still aint got your meds. Then they called the Dr and told them they will not fill my meds again.
Quantity for the business has taken over quality to the customer
I have been getting the same prescription since 2000 from Walgreens. In the past, i have had some issues but they were resolved rather easily. About 6 mos ago, the manufacturer stopped making my medicine and another was issued w/o warning. I am epileptic and have seizures. I returned a week later to say the medicine was making me nauseous. I was given another that didn't have any side effects. I was told I could not return the open bottle and my insurance had already paid and was not going to pay again until a certain time had passed. Each moth since, I have been given either the same one that makes me nauseous or a different brand. I'm told that a new system doesn't allow them to see messages associated with each customer so I have to stand there, open the medicine and have only gotten the correct brand once in the past six mos. When I let the phamacist know my problem, I get the deep sigh of frustration each time because they don't want to make the exchange. I believe the quantity of orders has taken over the quality provided to the customer. If you're going to shop for best prices, some prescriptions should be approached with more care. I don't mind paying the extra to get what is best for me rather than what the best price for your business. Please change the system back to where the Pharmacists can see special instructions and not continue to double work and dissapoint customers. Thanks

She was wearing street clothes with no Walgreens attire or name badge. Very unprofessional. This should be illegal. I would strongly recommend that people using Walgreens for any kind of injections insist on a pharmacist. Do not let a "technician" inject anything into your body.
Poor at managing vaccination appointments
Had an appointment for a couple of vaccinations at Walgreens in Mashpee, MA. Checked in, gave my name, sat down, and waited. All very nice and polite. Then, people who arrived after me started receiving vaccinations as I continued to wait. I asked the pharmacist (who I checked in with and who did the vaccinations) if she had forgotten me. She hesitated and said, "No...what was your name again?" I told her that if they are going to forget me as they obviously had, I'll forget them, too. I then left and will try another pharmacy.

If you call Walgreens on Blackhawk in Houston they put you on hold, and when the phone rings they put you on hold again. They continue to do this until the call is disconnected. I have called when I left work to see if my prescription is ready and was put on hold. When I got to Walgreens I am still on hold, but they are not on the phone. I refilled my pen needles. I get an email that 2 boxes are 94.00 on my insurance. I call my insurance company about the cost. While I am talking to insurance I go to Walgreens website and the over the counter cost is 45.99 a box. Walgreens is charging me 94.00 for 2 boxes (47.00 per box). They charge a fill fee to reach on their shelf and pick up a box to fill your prescription. The same shelf they reach for to sell you a box over the counter for fewer dollars. Rip off for sure. Now I filled my insulin for the first time in 2023. Law now caps insulin at 35.00. I was receiving a box of 5 pens before 2023, but now I receive 3 pens and they claim this is a 28 day supply, but charged me 35.00 for a full month. I pointed out that for years I have received a box of 5 pens every time I refill it. They claim it was filled wrong. For years???? Come on now. Suddenly now that insulin is capped at 35.00 I can only have 3 pens. Scam #2. Apparently you cannot trust Walgreens with your pocket or your prescriptions.

I received a notification that my thyroid medicine was ready to pick up. I went through the drive through at 12:30 pm and they proceeded to look for it for 10 minutes. They still couldn't find it. They said they would keep looking and if they didn't find it they'd restock it. I received a call at 2 pm saying they refilled it. I went there at 5 pm and once again they couldn't find it. Ten minutes went by and they finally found it. This has to be one of the most incompetent Walgreen's stores I've ever been to! This isn't the first time they've messed up with my family either! I am DONE going to any Walgreens store for my prescriptions. Jamie, the pharmacist, really should get her pharmacy technicians into shape. I'm embarrassed for you!! Store #3713...the WORST Walgreens I've ever been to!!

No automated call to inform me or any customers of this change! My medication is for seizures! The customer service at Walgreens sucks and I will be switching pharmacies on Monday.
