Heating &insulation

A great experience had loft,cavity wall insulation,a new boiler and central heating.All the trades were amazing loft insulation and cavity wall insulation were in and out in no time and cleaned up as if you wouldn’t know they had been,central heating and boiler were fitted in 3 days and they done an amazing job but they got let down by the company who supplied radiator that was suppose to turn up on the Monday but didn’t arrive to Monday tea time,that didn’t affect as the guys finished the whole job in 3 days

Excellent …

The installation team came the week before and went all around the house on how and what would be best for all parties involved on the installation, from start to finish they was always on hand! during & after the installation there was a couple of teething hiccups, which on the size of the installation is understandable but they was available even the weekend to help and guide us through any problems, they was professional,
and there was little mess and destruction of the new plastering that we have had done, hardly any touching up of painting to do overall brilliant job by a professional team of heating engineers and electrician's, but now 6 weeks on my opinion of the installation works stays the same,it is 15th of August job completion was the 3rd of july,but the scaffold towers are still up against the house as we are missing the summer go by with these i sores in place.the scaffold company being a third party contractor let's the whole installation and hard work done by warma uk. It's a real shame because the scaffold company are a law to themselves, the only bit I missed out the T&Cs is that they are within there rights due to stating it can remain up to 2 months, sorry warma uk for ending it like this but it would be better if you had your own in house team.

Superb Job by engineers.

The team of engineers worked superbly well. (Martin, Gary and Harry) Removed old warm air heating unit and immersion heater. Installed a combi-boiler, radiators, new shower and heated towel rail. As they came from Middlesborough they stayed in hotels overnight and were here first thing. Cleared up their own mess. Friendly, professional and hard working. Cheers lads, you were the best

Extremely stressful process throughout! We were given "professionals" who seemed not bothered by delivering quality at all. Overall quite disappointed I'm afraid.

We followed up several times by email and phone, but unfortunately didn’t hear back, so the application was eventually closed.

Responsiveness is poor

They were quick to contact me after my intial enquiry and i was asked to send photos in which we did. Then told we would hear back within 24 hours and almost 2 weeks later, umpteen chasing emails and we have moved no furthur forward!

Heat source pump and solar panels.

The equipment and workmanship is to a very high standard.
Everyone working here was considerate and keen to do a good job.
We are already seeing a benefit from the solar panels and look forward to a warmer winter

Excellent service from Warma UK

Excellent service from Warma UK they fitted in room insulation cavity wall insulation and gas central heating in my property.
You can feel the difference already with th insulation it’s so warm at the top of the house.
The fitting teams were excellent and very friendly and all did excellent work.
Communication throughout the grant experience was very good with continuous updates as things progressed.
All in all I would highly recommend Warma UK for your grant work give them a call you might be surprised what’s available through the grant process.

Good value and professional.

Fitted PV system including battery plus EV charger. Very reasonable cost and system installed promptly. Installation neat and carried out by very professional engineer. Always very approachable team whether in the Brecon shop or by phone/messaging.

Warma installation

I had all my installments through warma and it was so efficient
The guys that came was really knowledgeable and explained everything in detail
They was so respectful of my property and helped me hoover and clean up
I didn’t really know how these solar panels worked and the system
And I’m sure I got on there nerves asking
But it was no problem
To them they stopped and explained it all
It was Martin Gary and George
I highly recommend them I have solar panels and a new electric heating system and love it

Solar Panel success

After being let down by the previous supplier regarding installation of Solar Panels, we were moved to Warma UK by Welcome the Warmth. What a difference, we dealt with Jack Miller and from him contacting us at the beginning of March, and survey carried out, grant approval came by Mid April and the panels were fitted a week later. The only part that was missing on the install was the bird meshing, but within 2days the guys from Solsen were back and completed the job.
I can only have full praise for the way this as been handled by Warma UK and Solsen whose team of fitters were superb
I would fully recommend all that were involved and
we now look forward to saving money on our electric usage

I agree with the other negative reviews…

I agree with the other negative reviews on here.
They won't go the extra mile for a customer, especially disabled customers, they don't seem to care.
All's it would take is a bit of communication to the government but they can't be bothered, they just want jobs they would definitely get the grants for.
Avoid at all costs.

You are lying and I have the photos to prove you are lying. I told you there were huge gaps with no insulation so for you to comment that the loft is fully insulated is pure lies.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your review. We're responding because we don’t feel it reflects what actually happened or the conversations we had with you.

This application was for loft insulation through the ECO scheme. Your EPC, completed just eight months ago, confirmed the loft was already fully insulated. To double-check whether there was any way we could help, we asked for photos which again showed the insulation in place. That meant the property, unfortunately, didn’t meet the scheme’s eligibility criteria. These rules are set by Ofgem and apply to all installers.

You also asked us to inspect an air source heat pump that had been installed privately before your application. As this wasn’t fitted by Warma UK or part of any grant-funded work, we advised contacting the original installer for support, as it falls outside the scope of the scheme.

We understand it can be frustrating when a property doesn’t qualify. But publicly criticising a team for following the rules can create confusion and may even discourage others from applying for help they’re entitled to. That would be a real shame, and it’s why we felt it was important to respond.

We care deeply about doing right by people, and we’ll always go as far as the rules allow to help.

Avoid this company!!

I would advise anyone to avoid this company.
I was due to have insulation installed in my room in roof attic.
They were contacting me constantly when they were wanting documents to apply for my grant. When the grant was awarded I heard no more.
I had to email to find out when the installers were coming. Then again as I heard nothing. Then again as I heard nothing.
I was told to empty my attic room completely which took several hours.
The installers arrived the next day. They had no copy of the survey and had in fact not seen it.
They told me they were builder’s and plasters who had done a course on insulation??
They appeared to not know what to do. I asked them lots of questions about ventilation etc etc.
They appeared to know very little.
I was so concerned I contacted someone I knew who works in housing.
He told me their plan to overboard without a proper ventilation system in place could cause serious issues to my roof and the timbers etc
I went back home and told them not to start the work.
I think they were happy to leave tbh as they had seemed out of their depth.
I feel that warma uk were attempting to insulate my attic as cheaply as possible as I was having a grant.
I honestly thought they would be sending an insulation company.
I then spent another few hours putting everything back in the room.
What an absolute waste of time!!!

Thanks for your review. We’ve looked into this thoroughly and want to be clear about what happened.

The installers who attended are qualified and experienced, fully certified to carry out insulation work under the ECO scheme. All installations must comply with PAS 2035 and TrustMark standards, including proper ventilation, and every job is subject to independent audit. Overboarding without ventilation, as you suggested, would be a direct breach of those standards and simply wouldn’t be allowed.

Under ECO rules, insulation must be installed in a specific way to meet national compliance requirements. It can’t be altered based on preference, even with the best intentions. The team were fully capable of carrying out the work safely, correctly, and in line with the nationally recognised requirements of PAS 2035 and TrustMark.

That said, we accept the communication in the lead-up to your installation could have been clearer. We're reviewing our processes to see what happened and improve how we keep customers informed.

We understand this experience didn’t meet expectations, and we’ll continue to improve wherever we can. It’s also important that readers have clear information about how this work is delivered, and confidence in the people carrying it out under the scheme.

Warma uk

Their service is awful. I had so much stress after accepting the Eco 4 grant from Warma uk that I almost had a breakdown. They put up 11 solar panels on my froof but failed to mention that they had put a foot through the roof. I only discovered this today when my house was being surveyed. The scaffolding people they subcontracted to broke one of my garden chairs by standing on it. I had to lend them a ladder! The scaffolding was left up for ages after the job was finished.
Warma fitted 3 storage heaters in my house in November but the one in the hall was not working. It took until ( after numerous phone calls and emails) until Febuary. The two in my living room are not fit for purpose and fail to heat the room above 16 degrees. I have just endured a very cold winter. In spite of this my electricity bill is about £1000 in arrears as the storage heaters do not work with the solar panels and so use a lot of energy.
Warma is a terrible company. Their customer sales person does not answer emails or show any sympathy for my state of mind. I cannot face going through the official complaints procedure but feel I should be compensated for the stress I have suffered.
I don't have a ref number but this is all definately genuine and true.

Fantastic product shame about the fitting!

Four months and still waiting for two problems to be resolved! Three windows fitted 9.12.2024, window cill cut short, glass scratch, informed of this 10.12.24
Fitter who fitted window returned early January 2025 stated he used old cill as template and agreed he had cut it wrong! This had left lump of silicone to make up the difference, NOT ACCEPTABLE,! No interest in scratch to glass unit. Two members of other staff, including the sales person also examined the installation and agreed to report back. Total lack of confidence in this company. BE VERY AWARE!!!

Great customer service

From my initial enquiry regarding a grant Warma proved very helpful and guided me through the whole process. Once the grant was authorised the installation date was advised and solar panels and storage heaters were installed in one day. My thanks to Jordan for help with the application and to Gareth who kept me informed throughout and checked throughout the day of installation to make sure the work was being carried out to my satisfaction. The installation team also conferred with me regarding siting of the heaters and left everything clean and tidy. Based on my experience I would wholeheartedly recommend Warma

I was amazed that my elderly father was…

I was amazed that my elderly father was entitled to a grant, ( I was very unsure about applying for it) but there was no need to worry, from the start Warma put me at ease, the process was very straight forward. The work was carried out very professionally, I was informed all the time regarding appointments, time of arrival, all the trades were very courteous, very tidy, left the house spotless. We were fortunate to have, cavity wall, loft insulation, and a new combi boiler all funded by the grant, thank you warma UK
