Don’t be talked into there scams
Took a contract out after being told it was suitable for my intended use and the wait was 60 kg and the bin is only half full but yet and extra cost is added for going over wait every time it's collected. So not any good for my use. Have messaged them weeks ago but still no reply. No point in haveing a 1100 ltr bin if you cannot fill it. Also when the bin is under the 60 kg you dont get any refund for under wait. Soon as contract up I'm out.. a scam company quick to get you signed up but not quick to respond.

Great customer service from Waste…
Great customer service from Waste Basics, particularly from Matthew. We set up an account for our office waste today and the whole process was straightforward from start to finish.
Matthew supplied all the information clearly, made the account setup quick and easy, and was fast, responsive and helpful throughout.
Would definitely recommend Waste Basics to other businesses looking for a reliable and hassle-free waste service.

If I could go back I’d stay away from waste basics
So I have had a waste basics account where I was due to have my rubbish collected from my site fortnightly.
The first collection did not go ahead due to waste basics reaching out to me and saying the supplier may not be able to service the site despite them confirming this when setting up the account. They then sent a man with a van to collect the rubbish and said the collections will proceed as normal and expected.
Fast forward a fortnight later I called to let waste basics know the portal is showing me there is no active service and can they confirm my rubbish will still be collected on the agreed date. They then told me it would and there would be no issues.
I then had my rubbish out and it was not collected. Rats and cats have gone through the rubbish and the outside of my business looks very unprofessional.
My main concern here is waste basics reasoning for this is the supplier has let them down, for me this is not good enough as it has happened 2 collections in a row. Surely the first collection not happening was a red flag to waste basics that the supplier is not good enough yet they continued to proceed with it.
I have since wanted to cancel which they have said I need to pay a termination fee which is appalling considering they have failed to provide the service I agreed on from day 1.
