I've been using Shift for a while but when I got an M1 Mac I found it was unusable and started looking for alternatives. I stumbled across Wavebox and, having seen it was M1 native I figured it might make a good alternative. I was completely wrong: It's not an alternative, it's a massive upgrade on Shift or any other similar app!
Performance is absolutely outstanding - smooth, fast and fluid doesn't begin to describe the experience
The biggest advantage is that is isn't an Electron or similar wrapper app - it's built directly on top of Chromium and it really, really shows
I feel like I have only scratched the surface of what Wavebox can do but I'm already hugely impressed - it's the app my Macbook has been waiting for!

The software is excellent and has definitely made me more productive and happier to use my many work and personal accounts across the web! Even better, the team that supports the product offers very fast and effective customer service. Thank you Wavebox.io and special thank you to Susan for your excellent support over my time using your amazing product!

I've been using Wavebox for about 3 years now, and I literally can't work without it. As an Executive Assistant (EA), and as the COO of Admin Apto Inc. (an Executive Assistant firm), I use Wavebox to keep everything organized, every single day. For example, in the past when I've worked as an EA and was managing multiple clients, I would have 5 different calendars, 5 different emails, 5 different G-Suites, 50 different types of programs etc. and the ONLY way to keep them separated is to use the Wavebox platform.
The way Wavebox works is basically one large browser that stores information for multiple accounts. If I have 5 different clients, with 5 different logins for G-Suite, Outlook, Zoom, one uses Canva, one uses Expensify, one uses Tailwind etc. I can create 5 different profiles within the Wavebox browser, and each profile has all the programs that company uses, already logged in with that company’s specific information, accessible automatically. I can switch between all 5 profiles instantly and work within that profile without having to logout, find the correct login information, doublecheck the email and calendar information- I literally just click on the profile tab I need to work in and everything is right there.
If that’s not enough to make Wavebox an absolute lifesaver, the user interface is probably one of the most user friendly, comprehensive, and intuitive UI’s I’ve ever seen. On the left-hand side of the browser there are large profile icons that indicate which profile I’m working in, and at the top are all of the programs I need to use within that profile. Each time I click on a profile icon all of the associated programs icons come up with it. When I switch profiles (there is no logging out and in and juggling information), I click on the profile I want to use, and all of the program icons automatically populate at the top. That’s it. That’s the entire system. It’s an absolutely genius platform that makes the work I do so easy and so accessible that I don’t ever have to worry about mixing clients up.
I legitimately haven’t shut up about Wavebox since I discovered it- literally, every EA I’ve ever spoken to get the "Wavebox Speech". It just makes things so much easier. I honestly don’t remember how I did this kind of work without it.

I am using Chrome for years now. I realized that I have too many programs that I minimize/maximize very frequently.
I was searching for a solution and found Wavebox, it serves as an organizer for almost all the things I've been using (except file manager) and does that very neatly.
The support is amazing, even before I was a paid user, I've asked for a specific option and it took the team 2 days to add this as a feature in the beta channel.

I'm just coming up to my first year renewal, and I can honestly say that Wavebox is the most important SaaS purchase I make each year. As a freelance, my clients use different systems for email, project management etc.; and Wavebox instantly makes running multiple client workflows simple and seamless. And (unlike some competitors I've used in the past) Wavebox works and is run by a team committed to product excellence. 100% recommended.

Incredibly useful software and great support to back it up! Wavebox is honestly a godsend for my workflows, keeping my studies separate from my other personal stuff and all neatly contained in a single app.
Also a massive thanks to Susan for the quick responses to my emails - she was very helpful
Wavebox is essential to my workflow, allowing me to separate internship work, school, and personal daily workflows. Other apps that are based on electron instead of chromium are slow, memory hogs, and buggy. Love wavebox!

I've been using Wavebox since the early days and it's been central to my development workflow.
Having all my design/development web apps, along with all the productivity apps that I use (and then some!) all in one place has been a godsend. With the flick of a keyboard shortcut, I can jump around all the apps with ease.
With all the customisations and theming support, I've got my setup looking rather splendid too. Although, I now spend more time admiring the look of my apps, rather than actually using them.
I used to be a bit of a desktop app snob, always opting for web apps that offered desktop versions. But I've now got to the point where I will prefer web versions of apps - *Just* so I can run within Wavebox.
I have tried a multitude of similar apps in the past, but Wavebox always beats them hands down, especially since the introduction of Profiles, allowing you to split off groups of apps into a new window (I currently have one window for all the main development/productivity work and another for communications (Slack, MS Teams, Gmail, etc).
Wavebox is in constant development too, with active customer support, who always listen to your feedback! I do profess to becoming ever so giddy when an update notification arrives, it has to be said. :)
All we need now is a split-screen so we can have side by side apps! If they get this in, I will personally fly over to Wales and give them all big hugs (It's okay, I'm vaccinated).

Wavebox is one of a handful of apps that I really consider essential to my workflow. I don't use it as my main web browser, but rather as sort of a central dashboard for all my most commonly used sites - Gmail, Slack, Asana, etc. It would be hard now to go back to having to run each one as a separate app (plus, many don't even have apps for Linux), or as tabs in my web browser.

Resposta da Wavebox Browser
A fantastic way to browse the web and organise your regular tabs and apps. Amazing support from a very active team.

I was drawn to Wavebox for its central window housing all of my work and personal web apps and notification capabilities.
Now it's my default browser, due to game-changing features like cookie containers, usability-focussed features like global search and adding entire windows of tabs to new tab dashboards, memory management features like sleeping tabs/apps and Navigator... And underneath it all, it's Chromium, so it's compatible with all my apps, websites and extensions.
I used to say that Wavebox was a great work browser, but it goes well beyond that. It's simply a great browser for everything.
Now if only I could convince some workmates to hop on board to give the collaborative features of Connect a decent run...

We all use so many software, platforms, apps...Having all of them neatly organized in a SINGLE app is much better. I know, you might say "I can simply bookmark my web apps and use them inside my browsers, what's the difference?". There are so many!
1) Evertything in one place --> I simply LOVE having all of my apps in the very same place. No more mixing browsing websites for research and apps!
2) Sleeping apps! --> You can "sleep" groups of apps with a single clic, thus freeing up a lot of ram memory. I do not use ALL the 40 apps I added to wavebox on a daily basis. So I can let them "sleep" and only activate them when I need them
3) Extensions and RAM --> If you are like me and you need a lot of different extensions to do your research and benchmarking and browsing...you know that EACH website adds up some RAM memory. So having a DIFFERENT program with only the essential Chrome extensions means you are not loading your web-developing extension code on...Gmail interface :) That means a lot of free memory, for free :)
And the list goes on and on!

Wavebox is amazing. I was struggling to find a way to view all my programs without having a mess of million windows open, and this is the perfect solution. I personally use it for Airtable, Milanote, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, and Google Calendar.
Wavebox also have great customer service with timely response to emails. I highly recommend them!

I've been using Wavebox since it's earliest days. It's the best product in its line of work. I firmly believe that. Phenomenal customer support as well. Kudos to Susan for being on top of it.
