Shocking video and picture experience don't waste your money

Good day out lots to see, but I suggest no one buy the video package at end of tour mine is not recognised I have sent multiple emails with no reply to pomvom who warner bros use for pictures and videos online don't waste your money on getting this package as customer service is shocking with no reply out of pocket of £50, now have to go through credit card company for return of money

Thank you to the wonderful staff

We travelled to the studio for the second time on 19th of July 2023. During the tour my daughter became unwell and the assistance we received was amazing. Firstly the staff then the medic at the studio. I want to thank you all so much for your care and attention. Fortunately the medic was happy for us to continue and my two kids and my wife and myself had a wonderful time. I can honestly say I was so impressed with the staff and the full experience. Thank you all again

Visit spoiled by lack of planning

First the good bits: the tour is great, loads to see, and the whole experience has been well done. The food was excellent, and good value. The bad bits: I visited with a disabled friend in a wheel chair. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating, and moved us to the front of the large queues and told us where to go so we could be safe and not in anyone's way. However, it would have been much better if they allowed us to get to where we needed to be ahead of the waiting able bodied visitors, for example the left hand side when going into the room before the cinema and the front row seats for accessibility. When the doors opened, the people behind us were literally pushing in front of me and jumping in front of the wheelchair to get in first - never mind that we all had tickets and there was more than enough space! Moving around the tour on so many occasions we had to ask people to be careful, as they were backing into us - we tried to be as visible as possible and make people aware we were there, but to be honest go very fed up after about two hours! The queuing barriers set out for the shop were no where near wide enough for the wheelchair, I had to move them as we got stuck. There were no staff around to ask for assistance, and no one came to our help (It was very busy) A lovely day, somewhat spoiled by just a few things that could be changed to make it less stressful.

Absolutely fantastic day out

Absolutely fantastic day out. Your eyes really couldn't take it all in. Interactive displays and with staff so interesting. Yes they want to upsell with photos and videos but you suit your own budget. Eating in the food court wasn't overly expensive and it was very tasty. The Butter Butterbeer was delicious and a must try. Worth every penny!

MEH,it was ok

MEH, it was ok, but not worth that money you pay. I had more expectations. for real I had a feeling that Warner Bros decided to make it super fast in order to suck out money from fans. I am a fan since I was a kid, BUT I would not pay for the museum experience so much money. TBH I had more fun in Madame Tussauds Museum! For all that money they get from people, they could do everything so much better. THey have some really cool spots in there, but the rest of them are meeeeeh, and you are like "ok, aha, clothes teacher had, cool, what else?!", can't touch anything, can't interact with almost anything, just walk and watch. Especially when you go inside the train. I was like "is this a joke?!" you go in, you go through it, look in the saaaaaaaaame rooms through the window , and you go out hahahhaha and funny thing, some of the things you can do without having a lot budget, you just need creativity. But I guess Warner Bross attitude was more like "yeaaaaah, it's fine, they will take anything we give them!". even such small thing like to put in that huge LOndon's bus a head which a driver had hanging, it would make sooo much difference! ask cosplayers, pay people money to recreate something to give fans more joy!!! I am a bit dissapointed tbh. COnsidering that UK is home of Harry POtter, they could do it with more love and make it more FUN!

Although we had the most amazing time…

Although we had the most amazing time at the studio tour in London we purchased a video and photos, paying over £60 and when we got home the video has errors on it and isn’t what was shown to us prior to purchase. The photos are also not correct. I’ve contacted customer services via the phone and they have said it’s an external company called PomVom but they don’t reply and nor does WB studio tours customer services. I’m now out of pocket for a video that is useless as it’s only showing a green screen with our little boy on a broom stick. So upset and don’t know where to go now, other than contacting my bank! I hope WB actually see this and deal with it. Case Number WB-0972097

The set is great, but not what we expected

The set is great, costumes, props etc. also. The staff members are very nice and if you ask them for fun facts they have a lot of stories to share.
My son and I expected something else though. This is very much like a museum. All LOOKING and no DOING. I expected a ride or something we could try. Only this besides looking is the video with green screen on brooms etc. and they cost additional money, which is crazy since the entrance is already very expensive. So all in all we’re disappointed.

AMAZING Dinner in the Great Hall event!

Absolutely amazing experience! We attended the Dinner in the Great Hall event in December so it was also Hogwarts in the Snow. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Great food, amazing service and friendly staff. I cannot recommend it enough. The special event costs more than a usual ticket but you get so much included in the price and there were barely any people there so it made all the exhibits really easy to see and get photos with etc! Genuinely loved every minute!

Fun day out

Difficult to get a date as most were already booked, but managed to get a last minute slot for next day. A great 3 hours out for our HP obsessed children!

Well organised staff, well spaced out our family of 4 really enjoyed it.

Food was expensive along with the souvenir items, but came away with lovely memories and tokens of the day.

Dark Arts Dinner - mixed feelings

The studio itself is a 10/10 stars, but having been there 7 times o/w 3 dinners I have to say that this year the quality of the Dark Arts event dropped to zero in terms of organisation, staff efficiency, food and drinks quality. Tickets are worth 260 gbp

ORGANISATION 1/5 stars:

BOOKING
Since one wand was included in the ticket, being a collector I had kindly asked weeks in advance (the shop is at the tour) to pick up any wand from a list I provided. None answered to that point and at the end I got some duplicates. Contrary to previous year, the wands provided were the ones they are struggling to sell and which were on sale on the fan club site.
After several requests I got the duplicate replaced but I wasn’t free to pick up the wand I wanted.
Considering the ticket price I genuinely believe that i deserve to pick up the resin wand I want.

RECEPTION STAFF
totally umprepared to explain the tickets- vouchers. Last year they were at least put into an envelope
BAR STAFF
not friendly / not smiling
TOUR STAFF
not engaging like last year
CLOAKROOM STAFF
not sufficiently staffed, too long queuing
CANAPE STAFF
not sufficiently staffed, to bring food and remove empty glasses…
DINNER STAFF
had to beg some more wine several times (last year we got all we wanted)
None thought that to eat a soup you also need a spoon… we had to ask ans wait

FOOD 0/5 stars:

At the COFFEE SHOP: poor quality and poor variety compared to previous year
starters: poor quality and quantity compared to previous year (80% less)
Dinner: poor quality, quantity, weird choices. Desserts barely edible

DRINKS 0/5 stars:

At the STARTERS poor quality mocktails. Where were the cocktails , wines from previous year?
During the DINNER: less quality and quantity compared to previous year . We were neither allowed to use the voucher at the bar inside the studio as previous year , on top of the welcome drink.

I was about to book the Christmas Event but this changed my mind, so deluded. The dinner experience is not worth/not value for money anymore

Security at entrance is unbeliveably…

Security at entrance is unbeliveably rude. Put up a sign with instructions to tell visitors what to do when entering instead of yelling at them…we have paid ridicoulous money to visit!! Show some respect and common courtesy!! First and last visit

Gift tickets are a scam

Gift tickets are a scam: don't buy. Impossible to redeem on their site, which does everything possible to make sure it doesn't recognise the details. Basically they get your money for ages, then you can't get a ticket or redeem a voucher. Avoid!

Great day out but but disgusting food and prices

Great day out but a few downsides.
The tour is fantastic and the way it begins is brilliant. Gringots bank was the best bit for me, it was amazing. The kids absolutely loved it all and said it was the best day ever.
The downsides, and WB should be ashamed on some of these points, were;
For 2 adults and 2 kids the day cost £450 not including travel. £169 for the tickets, fair enough, but the food, photograph and gift shop prices are disgusting. You're pretty much captured if you want food and left with no options if you haven't brought you're own. £57 for some pretty disgusting burgers, hotdogs and chicken burgers and drinks for 4. £9.50 for a pretty nasty burger and chips.
Photos are extortionate. I spent £60 and all I got was some pictures and a video to download and 2 poorly printed wanted posters, not even on any special paper. If I'd gone for everything the cost would've been £120. They should be ashamed of this.
The gift shop is daylight robbery. £75 for a cloak, £22 for a notepad, £15 for a keyring. I had 2 kids mesmerised by it all and wanted everything. They ended up with a t shirt each and a plastic wand that was £32.....and it doesn't even work!
Now I know most places do this, cinemas charge a fortune for snacks, theme parks have ridiculous prices and they all take advantage of their captive audiences but that doesn't make it right. It's as if they sit in the boardroom and purposely decide to fleece us.
I saved a little bit though by paying an extra £9.95 on the ticket price when I booked to get the souvenir guide book, which was lucky coz I the gift shop they were £9.95...........Hang on a minute!
One slightly irritating point was a load of adults who need to grow up and remember there are kids there. They barge around like loonies and block views for the shorties.
All in all we're a bit skint now but had a great day. Next time I'll just take a picnic and remortgage ready for the gift shop.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE AFTERNOON TEA! Unless you’re ok with spending £60 on just tea. The food is inedible and literally made me gag. This is coming from someone who is not picky with food AT ALL, but I have never ate anything soooo bad. When you look around the “afternoon tea” section, it’s comical how much everyone left on the tray. That’s how bad it is. The presentation was amazing tbh (see before and after photos). The tea was good, coffee good, champagne is good, but food was awful. Literally the worst food I’ve EVER had.

That being said, the tour was good. You can easily spend hours in the studio if you analyze/read everything, but we spent about 2.5 hours and it seemed like we rushed at times. Once again, DO NOT DO THE AFTERNOON TEA!! If you do after reading this then good luck. They should honestly make a food challenge for anyone that finishes it.

We loved it

We loved it. A family of 5! Great experience & totally worth it. We booked a Saturday evening tour at 5.30pm. It was busy but less crowded. No long ques & easy to take photos. Staff were welcoming & friendly. Special thanks to the lady member of staff who came to our rescue when my 2year old boy decided to have a screaming meltdown half an hour round. She was excellent & took us to the sensory room for some time out, offering us water.
Would definitely recommend & go back.

Fun day out.

It was our first time to the Harry Potter Studio - it was a fun day out. It was a little hard to navigate where to go with no maps, lots of queues but we. had a good time.
